Im torn about this review so i will rate separately below Customer service (one star) i tried calling for a half and hour and finally drove to the store. I told the girl i thought they had phone problems because it kept going to voice mail. She blamed it on having a new girl who couldnt keep up. I then explained that the phone was going straight to voice mail. She very curtly said.. because..we..are..busy. The phone is right here call it if you dont believe me...so i did....straight to voice mail. She then storned off to complain or inquire on it. I wasn't particularly WOW-ed by this place. I had expected so much more. If you are ordering to-go, head up the register counter to place your order. If you are planning to eat there, grab a table or wait for a server to seat you at one. We made the mistake and went straight up to order and then grabbed a table. Luckily the server was able to place our to-go orders on a plate. I split the Sinaloa Especial and a Pastor burrito with a friend. I didn't see what was so great about the torta. Just a combination of a handful of meats packed in a bun. Included in that meat was hot dog and it made the whole torta taste like spam. Maybe I should've ordered something else since the menu was so expansive. Maybe next time if I am in the area. I enjoyed the burrito more as it had more flavor. The Pastor consistency was not what I had usually had but it was OK. The beans were a bit overpowering but since the Pastor was very flavorful, it was a decent balance. What made this place better was the sauces and sides on the table. The little jar of picked carrots and chilies were good on everything I ate. I had to put it on before every bite. It had a bit of a kick and my group of friends and I went through the whole jar. I can see the appeal and maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I usually come here before a flight from Ontario. They have a large range of tortas and agua frescas here! Pros: -HUGE variety of tortas- definitely a lot of variety here. -parking is in a huge lot and not an issue -Tortas are in reasonable portions -Agua frescas come in a huge cup -LOVE the pickled veggies that come with every order. I always put these in my sandwiches! Cons: -Customer service could be better -Tables could be cleaned better -Some tortas are inconsistent- got the Fontana today and the meat was tough! - somewhat pricey: for two tortas and a drink, it was $20. Overall, I would consider the food and drinks here to be decent, but not spectacular. However, I may still continue coming here before a flight because it still beats airport food! read more

If you want some good tortas this is the place but they have gotten smaller over the years, and before you could ask for salsa and they wouldn't charge you, now they do. But other then that the customer here is amazing and helpful, and attentive. I recommend this place. Torta Fontana is my main choice and the torta Suiza for vegan option. read more

I've been coming here every now and then and sometimes early in the morning for breakfast and the first thing any of us should expect are clean tables cleaned after closing at the end of the night. I will say this I shouldn't have to walk in and have to ask for my table cleaned for me when I am clearly the first person there especially with my dad. The floors were cleaned but seriously the tables need more than just a pass of an already dirty rag I need some kind of windex and a paper towel. The crepes were great better than most places and at a fairly cheap price totally worth it. The Tortas are pretty good but for me it still doesn't beat home made Tortas when you don't have the time give this place a try either dine in or for take out. (Drinks) here are fabulous although the orchata is a little too sweet for my liking but but they have other drinks and smoothies they make there to tryout. I was finishing up my Xmas shopping and stumbled upon this place. I read about it from my fellow Yelpers but never visited due to the distance from work. It is located in a strip mall with large amounts of parking. The place itself is large and quite clean. Plenty of places to sit and even a PacMan machine for those who wanna get their game on. I was kind of confused as how to order, since there wasn't anything displayed. I went to the right near the cashier, and they told me they could take a to-go order, or to sit down at a table if I wanted to dine in. They also asked if I wanted a english menu and were very polite. I ordered a pineapple agua fresca and so glad I did. I got the large and it was HUGE! Perfect mixture, not too sweet, not too watered down, with nice bits of pineapple. I really liked this drink. I ordered the Culican torta, which was breaded meat, cheese, avocado. It was decent, but it was far from the best. It just seemed like it could use a touch more flavor, even the salsas weren't helping. Not to say it was bad because I have had much worse, but this probably the best that IE has. I would probably come back again just for the beverages! Simple but tasty Tortas and fruit waters (agua frescas)! We ordered Lomo Adobado, Tortas piernas and Guamuchil. They're are all tasty and satisfying. The table salsa is awesome too especially the red one. For our drinks we ordered pineapple, mango and watermelon...although they're all good the watermelon is the BOMB! Horrible customer service,.. I was there today and my family ate before they ever got my order right. We ordered beans and those never appeared.. so I waited over an hour and I left without eating anything. I asked the man at the register with the tattoo on his neck why the service was so bad today and he said "well we have new waiteresses try not to scare them".. I didn't want to let him ruin my day further. I paid for what my family ate and I left. But will not be returning. 8 people on the floor and nobody could take my order for 20 minutes. read more

Decided to eat lunch here on a sunday afternoon. I had the Milanesa and the wife had the carnitas con aguacate. I enjoyed my milanesa torta, good amount of meat. the meat was a bit chewy which may be bad on a torta but it was good overall the carnitas with avocado is also good, actually better than the milanesa. they have about 52+ different torta comination. I would suggest to pick one of their specialty ones. I didn't and now I regret it. the bread is grilled which makes the torta a bit flat but its good enough to fill you up. the "aguas frescas" are the way to go, we had the limon and the fruta mixtas both large- get the large its awesome to drink out of the huge cup. Tortas Sinaloa is on my Top 3 places to eat. I bring all of my friends here and they love it. I came here just last week for a chocolate milkshake. I usually get the Fontana torta. Love the avocado in it (so does my mom). However, today I wanted to try something new, and give their fresh juices a go. I had the juiced fruit and vegetable concoction suggested by one of the girls working there. It consisted of Kale, Spinach, Celery, Cucumber, Pineapple, Green apple, & Pear. A 16 oz. is only 3.50. You can bet this is healthier than any drink you are going to pick up at Starbucks. I loved it because it was healthy, and it tasted pretty good! It did have more of a celery taste, so maybe I'll sub that out for something else next time! In lieu of trying new things, I also tried the carne asada and lengua tacos. I reallyyyy like lengua here! It is so much better than other taco places that serve it. Totally getting that again. I'm glad I asked for everything on the side. The avocado sauce is a tad bit spicy for me, and I can't have raw onions. I was SO happy. I ate tacos. I haven't had tacos since the last time I got tacos at Rio Ranch Market, which was like...2 years ago. It feel so great to feel sick! I want to address something that it's very unprofessional about this business. They have a menu that advertises different prices from the prices they're charging. On the menu the ham and avocado torta is 4.50 and they charge 6.20. It's not about the 1.70 difference it's about honesty and false advertisement. When I question the cashier about the price difference she was nice about it and informed me they haven't changed the board yet. Soledad Armenta, listen up CEO... you need to educate your staff on customer service l. They are very disrespectful. I had an argument over the amount of carrots they are allowed to hand out. I have been a long time customer and spend very well on each visit. Your staff point their finger to one another over what the store policy is in regards to the number of carrots you are allowed to provide with your food. You have the most ridiculous policy if its true. Your staff states that if I dine in it's a different service and therefore are allowed more carrots. Is your food served differently if I decide to dine in? Your "manager" on site is nonexistent. I urge you to fix this problem. You just lost a very well paying customer. read more

I'm allergic to avocado, I make sure to specify this every time I order because I know they put an avocado sauce as well as avocado in most of their tortas. I speak Spanish so I make sure to tell them in English and Spanish so it is very clear that I'm allergic. I've been here three times and every single time I've had to return my food because they put avocado in it. This last time, it looked like they added the avocado and attempted to wipe it off and cover their mistake by adding lettuce over it. The food is good but the lack of effort is upsetting. The aguas here are the BEST, my favorite is the frutas. I enjoy the food as well but it's inconsistent; sometimes a 10 sometimes a 4. What is consistent here is the lack of customer service. I spent about $75 and had to pay for the salsa because that was for the tacos not for tortas, annoying because they charge you $1 to run your card. Not only that, she gave us a hard time because we lost our ticket, which I understand but then I literally saw her not ask two other customers for their ticket and provide them free salsa. This spot offers tortas uniquely by making them panini style or by heating them with a press. I tried their signature Sinaloa style torta, which comes with everything. I didn't find anything surprising in the torta what would make this place special. I was also annoyed that all of the tortas do not come with lettuce, tomato and onion. I do give it up to their agua fresca selection and taste. They are the only reason why I would return. They come in huge mugs if you dine in. If you are searching for a very affordable torta with decent taste stop by and while you are at it do yourself a favor and try their fresh waters. read more

Wanted to try something new, came here and was greeted rather unprofessionally. Told me to take a seat and order from a filthy laminated menu. Decided to get a "Cancún" Tortas approximate of a size of a BK Whopper for $7.75 and a beverage for $6 that never came. The sandwich was below average at best on taste and mediocre on presentation. However the "server" did came and asked me if all was ok, but I think it was just a routine formality or fake courtesy, yet in reality I didn't think she gave a flying f-ck. Then came time to pay at the cashier, and she wanted to charge me $14, until I told her that she never brought me the refreshment. So altogether the bill came at $9.25 for just the sorry excuse of a Tortas because they charge $.89 cents for using a card, in which it wasn't disclosed nor posted anywhere visible at the store. I came in as a happy, hungry customer. But leaving this damn establishment with a bad taste in my mouth. Should have just gone to Arby's instead. I will change this to a 5-star review as soon as Tortas Sinaloa starts to accept credit cards and stop charging us to use our debit cards. My staff goes to Tortas Sinaloa about once a week and the food is excellent, but because the owners are CHEAP it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. In 2016 there is no reason that a restaurant should charge its paying customers to use a debit or credit card. That's the cost of doing business. This tortas don't ever disappoint, they are always on point. My favorite is the Chicken avocado with queso fresco. But the Sinaloa Special is also a great option. Try one of their many fresh fruit waters they are awesome. read more

I ordered in line, my food was ready 7 Tortas de Milanesea ( breaded steak meat, beans and cheese, lettuce, tomato) food is always taste and fresh. I asked for all vegetables on the side and they did put all shes tables on the side so that my Tortas do not get soggy. I ordered dreads with crema. ( strawberries and cream).
