NOT AUTHENTIC. Me and my friend came here to Cheyenne for a business trip. We come from the borderland of El Paso TX. It was easy to say the food did not taste Mexican. My friend ordered gorditas de chicharron and it seemed the chicharron was straight from the bag stuffed into the gordita. The chicharron was crunchy instead of soft. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door that encouraged everyone to practice patience because the restaurant is short staffed. The service wasn't too slow but our meals did come out one at a time. The food was hot and flavorful. The greatest negative was that they close at 7:00 on a Friday night (especially because the food is good and worth later dining times). While we were still eating, the employees were stacking chairs on the tables around us and loudly talking amongst each other to wrap up the workday. This deterred from the overall experience. The new Tortilla Factory location is located on the south side of Cheyenne. This location is much larger and cleaner. It is spacious enough to sit small parties. I came here on a Friday night and the place was fairly packed. They have table and booth seating. The menu is extensive and it includes the typical Mexican dishes: burritos, tacos, plates and entrees. The plate dishes cost around $10. I got the barbacoa entree, it was actually pretty good. It comes with fresh salsa, refries beans, rice, and two warm tortilla. I would recommend getting the plates or entrees. That way, you can make your wrap. Our server told us the kitchen staff comes in every morning and make fresh salsa. Chips and salsa is free and you can always ask for refills. Overall, I would say this place is good for Cheyenne. It isn't blow out my mind good and I have had better food in taqueria. But hey, it's Cheyenne, so good enough. I would visit here again. It's an easy, casual meal. I did order the deep fried ice cream and enjoyed. For $6.50, it's a decent splurge. I skip ordering alcoholic drinks. Margaritas and the likes cost $8-$10. In the front, they do have multiple coolers selling sodas, snacks, and tortillas. Service was fair. I got what I needed. The wait staff got my order correct, refilled my water cup, and promptly gave me my check. Plenty of parking in their front lot. read more

After seeing the Manager go off on a customer recently on social media however, I nor any of my family be going back. There are far better places in town with authentic fresh choices on the menu. Wish I could give a star lower than one, food was bland to say the best and the service was terrible. Waitress was nonexistent for most of the visit, water was empty for most of the experience as I didn't realize I would have to ration. The salsa is terrible and the chips were stale. Burrito seemed like it was missing something and the taco tasted like they placed it in the fridge over night and served it the next day. Not a bad spot at all. Although, my friends really talked up the salsa as being very hot. I like hot but unfortunately, the salsa was mild the day we ate here. It was flavorful but not the hot I was expecting. The tortilla chips were very fresh and tasty. I had the gorditas, smothered with hot sauce. Again, I expected very hot but the sauce was pretty mild. The gorditas themselves were pretty good and tasted fresh but they were not out-of-the-park delicious. Solid food at this place, tortillas are fantastic, the hot sauce may or may not be hot so be mindful. Worth checking this place out if you are in the area. read more

Just used door dash to get lunch from the tortilla factory and wow amazing food great prices and super fast delivery. I can't have any spicy food and so I ordered the chicken chimichonga and was able to eat it! This is a first for me as most places are too spicy!!!! I asked a local Deputy sheriff where to go to get a burrito to go, he said try the Tortilla Factory. Went down there and asked for a breakfast burrito to go, they said no problem. A short wait and I was on the road again. The only problem is that it was hard to park my truck and horse trailer, but that's probably not their main customer base. read more

Had the stuffed sopapilla and my wife had the tamales and both were good and had green chili sauce on top. Place was clean and staff was friendly and hustled. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Walked in and the hostess told us they had a wait. I asked how long the wait was and she said she had no idea. We ordered carnitas and carne asada. The carnitas was so dry that it was inedible. The carne asada was the same. Chips were gross and the salsa was mediocre at best. Waitress only checked on us once and we waited 10 minutes just to get a doggie bag. We tried flagging her down, but we couldn't get her attention. Tried to flag her down to pay our bill and finally had to go to the hostess stand. It took her 5 minutes to run our bill and credit card. Everything here is simply amazing! The food is the best Mexican food you can get it in Wyoming. The service is also very quick efficient and friendly. It usually takes less than 5 to 10 minutes from the time you order to the time you get your food. read more

We stop for breakfast and it was great. We enjoyed it so much, we stopped a couple days later for lunch and it was just average. The flavors were a bit weak and I was served a pork Gordita rather than chicken. I like both, so not a huge deal. Service was good both visits. read more

We just moved here to Cheyenne from Albuquerque NM, it is hard to find a restaurant to compare to Albuquerque, but I would say we get there carne tacos and they are very good satisfying, just wish there salsa was hot it taste like a tomato sauce more than anything read more

Had a take out order and the order was wrong and missing items. When we called the response was "What do you wasn't us to do about it?" Really?
