Stopped by in a whim to grab some tortillas, as we walked out we decided to go back & get some cocktails & guac. It was a Wednesday around 3pm, ordered & paid at the front, were quickly seated & received our guac, chips & salsa immediately. Cocktails were margaritas on the rocks, Jose Cuervo & Patron, & they were good! The Patron was the "Cadillac" margarita, it came a bit more dressed up; with a sphere ice cube. We had options of salt or sugar on our rims. Staff was friendly & the newness of the building with high ceilings & open window letting in sunlight was nice to sit under with a friend. I haven't tried the tortillas yet, I'm sure they are delicious. I would highly recommend to take visitors to on a not so busy time for extra care & attention.

This is my second visit here. On the first, I was not impressed. This time is much different. I visited the restroom about 1:45 pm, after lunch rush. Eating area is very light and open. Server was very courteous and efficient. I had the three tamale plate smothered with mild green chili. I usually don't care for green chili but this was excellent. Guacamole was great. Not too many filler ingredients and a good flavor. Good portion sizes. Another worker was cleaning under the booth seating. Good job! One suggestion: restroom looked clean but on close examination, toilet seats and bowl rims were dirty.

They charge you extra for flour tortillas. Not what it used to be. Simple food that's a bit pricy.

The service was stellar, the food was outstanding, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was upbeat and energetic. It is the perfect place to start your morning. We stopped in for breakfast and had amazing pancakes with homemade maple syrup, along with an egg sandwich served on Texas toast and perfectly cooked hash browns. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and incredibly satisfying. We will be making weekly trips to Cheyenne over the next several weeks, and this will absolutely be our go-to breakfast stop every time we are in town.

Not sure how to start with this little diner because I'm torn in two different directions…read more They have a lot of good qualities going on for them, but there is definitely room for improvement. Let's start with Service: so we checked in at the front counter and was told it would be probably 20 to 30 minute wait time We actually got seated in about 10 minutes so there's a good quality number one Service was incredible. They are fast. They are courteous. They are friendly. There's another good quality. Food for the most part was actually really good. Good quality number three. So what are the downsides? There definitely is going to be a wait time depending on when you show up So I recommend you calling ahead and get your name on the list The food is actually really good, but the gravy could definitely use some more seasoning. The biscuits were good. The skillet was good, but the sausage was like little tiny crumbles instead of chunks of sausage, which is kind of disappointing But the green chili gravy that they put on top of the skillet was amazing next time I probably would try with like ham or bacon The hot chocolate is a definite No! It is instant hot chocolate deathly needs improvement Would I recommend this place, yes! And I would definitely come back to try some other options. And again the servers were incredible. Those girls rock displace.

The chilli sent me straight here, because I need to share this goodness with the world. Those little ladies home-make & bake everything. As a Cheyenne resident everybody knows about the bread basket, so for those around here is your reminder; and for those passing through & like white chili, cabbage burgers, breakfast burritos, white chili and like being SMACKED in my face with sweet smell of sugar, sweets & baked pastries when you walk in - then maybe it's time you add this stop as your next afternoon lunch break or on your families early morning out (you can call ahead & have country gravy or bacon/egg burritos made for pick up!!!!), or as your next friends birthday or bbq sweet treat. Everything is is made fresh & when they are out, they are out. So if it's a special stop or you're thinking ahead - I would call an order in the night before! Seriously how many bakeries do you know that you can call at 10:00 am and ask them for a German chocolate cake slice for your 74 year old neighbor, and they are out so they make you a personal cupcake for $7 and it's ready by 1??? JUST THE BREADBASKET! They have early hours, so plan ahead! Items I can promise will be delicious: white chili (obviously), country gravy burritos, sloppy joes, any type of granola, strudels, and German chocolate cupcakes... but that is just from my experience. Might need to go buy some cookies now. Thank you ladies for feeding Cheyenne!!!!!!!! Ps not a lot of seating, but there are parks close by! :)

Then two parties of nine came in after us. All were seated before our party that RESERVED SPACE MONTHS AGO. Horrible place to go. Reserved their banquet room WAY back in October. We arrived on time to find it full. No problem, we're easy going, they said they would be leaving soon so we waited. OVER AN HOUR later, they finally let us go into the room, acting like it was a total inconvenience that we were there, even though we reserved months ago. We were told there was no longer a conference table setup allowed, which would have been nice to know at any point before our meeting so that other arrangements could be made. Inconvenient, but not a huge deal by itself. Ten minutes before the time we were ORIGINALLY scheduled to leave the room, they started coming in to tell us we needed to leave. When they gave us the room over an HOUR late. At the actual time we were ORIGINALLY scheduled to be out, the manager came in and forcefully insisted we leave-while people were clearly up and putting on their coats. We had over an hour cut off our reserved time from October, and yet when someone else showed up (without a reservation), we had to leave because they didn't have anywhere else to put them. Service was incredibly slow (waitress was training and was very nice-no fault to her), some of the food was cold, all of it was overcooked. Under new management, per the waitstaff. And not good management, as many of their long-term and best waitresses have quit. We have been using the room for our meetings for the last several years, have always tipped well and been very respectful of the waitstaff and their time and clean up after ourselves. Needless to say, we will be booking another option for our next meeting.
