We were out in the Conroe area helping my Mother in law with her lake house and stopped by for lunch. I ordered the Seafood Enchiladas, my wife had the Presidente Combination and my mother in law ordered the Cozumel Chicken Salad. The shrimp in my Seafood enchiladas were cooked well but they didn't have that snap that really good shrimp have. Also, the seafood is on top of the enchiladas, and the flavors blend in with the cheese and the sauce. The enchiladas on their own is just cheese. The charro beans didn't taste Tex Mex enough, it was all sausage and like a ranch flavor My wife had the Presidente enchiladas. I tasted them and again all the flavor comes from the sauce on top. My mother in law's Cozumel Chicken Salad looked really pretty. I didn't take a bite though because that would've been weird. I like Gringo's and would come back to this location. We had good service and the restaurant was clean and well kept. I love that they offer red and green salsa, although their chips are a little thicker than I like. Overall it's a decent meal at a reasonable price... and the margaritas are fantastic, I really thought about getting one but can't let the mother in law think I'm a drunk.
