One of the three best taquerias that I have ever eaten at in the state of Kentucky. We had a selection of authentic tacos and burritos. Pastor, asada, tinga, lingua, and barbacoa. Everything was incredible and the service was even better. Feels like you are in Mexico. Authentic food with so many types of different meats. I got the lingua, barbacoa, carne and cabeza. I'd say barbacoa and lingua were my top 2 because of the immense flavor. I will warn you that after eating this food be prepared to feel a bit sluggish. Got a small cabeza burrito also and was good but would recommend using a different meat than what I chose because it gets lost in the fixings. Also, the tacos had too much cilantro but I just took what I wanted off. The menu is very simple but delicious. They have a variety of burritos, sopas, tacos, gorditos and more, with a variety of fillings. He explained it could take a few minutes to get the order because of being busy! The food came in a reasonable time. Steak burritos and steak tacos. Four tortillas were very hard on both burritos and tacos. The tortilla on the burritos was so hard it couldn't be cut with the plastic fork an knife provided and the thin paper under them disintegrated trying to cut the burritos to eat them. The contents of the burrito were cold, very little of it even warm. The tacos were also cold. The 2 tortillas on the tacos were also hard, near crunchy. The steak in both burritos and tacos was all crunchy, way over cooked, nearly burnt. We have been here many times and the last two visits were both not good experiences. The cokes out of the cooler were warm, either just put in or the cooler not working as it should. Disappointing to say the least. read more

My buddy did same but he was 4 and 2 should tell you something Service: order at the counter and they bring the food to you, in about 7 minutes. Fast! They have a variety of options for all customers and offer things other Mexican cuisines don't serve. I decided to try their carne asada tacos as well as trying caldo for the first time. They recommended the Caldo de Res and it was phenomenal. All the food tasted really high quality and it came out very fast and hot. For such good quality of food the prices are very reasonable and affordable. My favorite thing is their two sauces which gave the tacos so much flavor and it was an amazing combination. Got takeout from here while on a road trip. We got a chicken burrito and a carne asada burrito. Both were tasty. Both salsas were very liquid-y and there weren't many chunks. Just a different style than I am used to but I enjoyed the spiciness of the red salsa. We would stop here again but probably not for takeout. It seems like it would be a better experience to sit down and eat the food immediately while it was hot and order sides and some tacos. All the staff was polite! read more

The service was very friendly and welcoming, the ambiance was very chill and low key (it's unassuming on the outside but don't let it sway you because these burritos are INCREDIBLE!). My boyfriend and I got horchata and pineapple drinks that were delicious and paired well with our burritos. My boyfriend had the carnitas and I had the barbacoa burrito - both were very delicious. After hearing this place featured in a podcast, I knew that we had to stop here! One of the details that intrigued me from the podcast is their use of Kentucky Proud cornmeal from Weisenberger Mills to make the tortillas. Growing up eating Mexican food before it was fashionable, I rarely, if ever, had fresh tortillas. Getting to have some made with quality local ingredients sounds like a winner. Was recommended to try this place because I've been looking for some legit Mexican food in Kentucky, since I was in the area I was finally able to stop by. So far this one is the #1 place I've been to in Kentucky. The whole area is kind of a "Little Mexico" with all the shops, so we need to try some of the other spots as well. I ordered the tripas, pollo, chorizo and carne asada. I'd say the chicken was my least favorite just due to it being shredded, but the flavor was very good!!
