Spicy Italian Sausage with Roasted Potatoes, Onions and Peppers.
    Evan W.

Stepped into Toscanova for a late dinner after a movie, and we grabbed 2 seats at the bar, which was busy at first but quickly emptied, leaving just we two. Not sure if everyone coincidentally finished just after we arrived, or if we did something to offend (LOL). The bartenders were friendly and attentive, and shook up a pair of very tasty cocktails while we browsed the menu, which was supplemented with a very substantial list of daily specials. My wife and I shared a starter of house-made marinated artichokes, which were tender and very flavorful without having that overpowering presence of vinegar you get in even the best of the jarred variety. Unfortunately, I forgot to get a photo, so see if you can find one to see... better yet, if you're in the restaurant, order them for sure. They're part of the regular menu. I followed that with a starter from the specials menu, which was absolutely large enough to be a main: Spicy Italian Sausage with Roasted Potatoes, Onions and Peppers. This was a delicious dish. The grilled sausages arrived with a char that brought out the sweetness of the casing, which was a perfect contrast to the spice of the meat inside. Tons of flavor, with an enjoyable heat that stayed comfortably on "this side" of the spice scale, so easily had by almost anyone who likes some punch to their food. The accompanying onions and peppers were nicely softened and caramelized, and the roasted potatoes sported an outside char that gave way to a soft, almost creamy center. This was a deceptively simple plate of food elevated to something much more than you'd ever expect. My wife ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, a very generous serving of fresh-made pasta and hearty, meaty sauce that balanced nicely between bright tomato and comforting creaminess (though it was not specifically a "tomato cream" sauce). Dusted with fresh grated Parmesan cheese, this now-ubiquitous menu item also excelled beyond the norm, and I'm looking forward to eating the half we brought home. The atmosphere at this outpost in the Century City Mall is lively and welcoming, with a sleek, modern decor and a relaxed, comfortable crowd having a good time. There's definitely more upbeat energy here than at the Calabasas location. My only complaint was that the kitchen was lagging near the end of what I'll admit was probably a busy Saturday night for them; as such, it took a particularly long time for our entrees to be served (close to 30 minutes), and the restrooms needed serious attention, which really could have been addressed given that there was absolutely a full staff on site. That said, the food and cocktails were all enjoyable, and I will happily return to try more of what this kitchen puts out.

The staff at this beautiful location is so wonderful from the hostess named Tina to our waitress Vladia to Giuseppe who is from Tuscany. The food is authentic Italian and I'm ordering a heart of palm salad with shrimp. They are very attentive and cater to people with special needs mine, I could've eaten anywhere, but I chose Toscanova because they were so sweet when I came to look at the menu

Came on a Sunday night around dinner time as a walk in. There were plenty of tables available and we were seated right away. The wait staff were very attentive right as we sat down and watched the floor to make sure every customer had exactly what they needed. Grilled Salmon - Cooked to perfection! Had a crisp seasoned top. Cooked perfectly with the inside maintaining its moisture. Came with a side of green beans and asparagus. I wish the veggies were seasoned. They came steamed. Tricolor Salad - Generous portion and can be shared among two people as an app. Seasoned well. A little strange that they shaved four big slices of parmesan and just left it on top. For presentation's sake, it would look better as smaller shaves or if they cut it up and sprinkled it on top but the taste was great! Bread - They handed out free warm bread baskets. Super delicious! They also had oil and balsamic vinegar on the table for you. Pear Fusion Cocktail - Didn't taste sweet at all which I was very happy with. Could barely taste the alcohol. My type of drink! The staff were all so attentive from the minute we walked into the restaurant! Our food did take a little time to come out but it was well worth the wait. Loved how much variety was on the menu and all of the categories were easily displayed. They had a ton of extra paper menus tho. Maybe they could've scaled back on those. Definitely a great place to stop and eat at if you're looking for a sit down restaurant at Century City.

Fun lunch with my bestie who comes here often with her mom. I'm not sure why it was my first time, but I've been missing out. We shared a half dozen order of the oysters, a salad, a pasta and a pizza. They were kind enough to serve the pasta already portioned separately. Everything was delightful. We both ended up having a little bit of leftovers which we both took to go and finished at home.

I'm a big italian food fan so I definitely was expecting more but the food was pretty average (both the pizza me and my friend ordered). Staff was nice and welcoming and attentive although I really do not get the hype about this place.

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now and finally earlier today I met my cousins for lunch. First of all let's start from the hostess. I asked her for a table outside she said she can't sit us outside cause we asked for a high chair for my niece. I said ok and she sat us all the way in the back right by the kitchen where all you can hear is pits & pans and employees shouting while working. Anyways I regret not leaving or asked her to be moved... Our waiter was friendly, pleasant and attentive. The bread they served was fresh and warm and we enjoyed it with olive oil and vinegar. We ordered the panzanella salad and the artichoke salad and both tasted ok, nothing spectacular. Our main dishes were more disappointing. Very average tasting food with high prices. My gnocchi was like a frozen meal reheated, that's how it felt. I don't want to list every dish one by one but overall food was average tasting. Not horrible but not good either. The tamarind cocktail I had was not what I expected, nothing like the ones I've had in other restaurants. This restaurant is so nice and has a great location that is inviting but I'm not sure if I'll ever come back. For the four of us we paid $260 for lunch (plus tip) (includes 2 drinks) ..

The food was amazing, the sauce was really rich and tasty! The pricing is pretty reasonable and the service was amazing! This restaurant never disappoints. Have been here many times!

Influenced by the reviews, I chose the wild boar ragù and was pleasantly surprised. The flavors were deep and hearty, evoking the comfort of a classic pot roast. Paired with pasta, a robust red sauce, and a generous topping of Parmesan, it was an excellent and satisfying dish.

The inside is cosy and casual, and it's a bit romantic. There's usually a nice buzz of people in the late afternoon. This intimate bar first opened in West Hollywood in 2013. The entrance is on the side of a beautiful historic Hollywood Spanish Gothic style building on Westbourne Drive, off Santa Monica Boulevard. You could almost miss it from the street as it's kind of hidden which is definitely part of its charm. About a century ago it was a studio for silent film star Charlie Chaplin and later a library for Sherman, which was the name of West Hollywood before it was incorporated. So this is a beautiful and historic location with a fascinating history, V Wine Room serves about 30 different wines by the glass and a large selection by the bottle, mostly small California wineries from the Napa Valley. The menu also features sparkling wines, natural wines and sakes from small Japanese producers. They have food to accompany the drinks as well: delicious Roman-style pizzas, cheese boards and charcuterie, fish and even chocolate. I've always managed to find free parking on side streets just up the street like on West Knoll for a couple hours, but there's also valet parking right in front and a city parking lot about a block west

I didn't make it here until March 2026 and after my first visit, I'm sorry I didn't come earlier. My husband and I came here on a Sunday night, with a last minute reservation I'd made on Resy. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in around 5:30ish. A lot of the tables were empty. They had both indoor and outdoor dining available, but the majority of the seats were indoor. The ambiance here is dark and chic, it reminded me very much of restaurants in NYC. It would make for a good spot for a date night or girls' night out. We made it here in time to order one thing from their happy hour menu, the tater tots. These were heavy but moreish, it was hard to stop eating them even when my stomach was telling me I was full. We also shared the corn, which I believe may have been a special/seasonal dish. It will go down as one of the best corn dishes I've ever eaten in a restaurant. My husband got the burger for his main and I got the mussels. The mussels were pretty fresh and silky, and were overall excellent, but I didn't love the broth they came in. My husband's burger was fantastic. It's one of the best burgers I've eaten at a restaurant in LA. Service was lovely and efficient. We got water right away and then waited a little bit before our server was able to get over to take our drink orders. We had Bloody Marys along with the Prosecco that came with brunch, and both were yummy. For the first course, we got one of each option for the table: the bacon-wrapped dates, fruit, and walnut sticky bun. ALL delicious. They ended up coming out at the same time as our entrées, which were omelettes and chicken and waffles. Some people might not love the timing, but honestly, we didn't mind at all. We just grazed on everything together and enjoyed the whole table. It seemed like there was one server handling pretty much the entire dining room, and he was working his ass off. We let him know that we could see how much he was juggling and that we were perfectly happy being patient. Even though he was clearly slammed, he regularly did fly-bys to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. Dine LA is hectic, and he was doing his best to keep up with a very busy room. Thankfully, they were also participating in the Dine LA event! I believe it was around $30 per person, which was honestly a pretty good deal. I loved the food and our server was amazing. However, I unfortunately didn't love the service from the host. We had a reservation for 12:30 PM, and we were seated outside (mind you it was like over 90 degrees). I normally wouldn't mind outdoor seating but it was WAY too hot in their outdoor area, even with the mesh covering. They definitely need to invest in some misters/fans, especially during the summer (it's also 2026). I asked the host if we could be moved indoors since I could visibly see multiple open seats. She told me no because those seats were reserved for "4 people," which didn't really make sense to me when I could literally see with my own two eyes that several of the indoor tables were occupied by parties of two. When I pointed that out, she didn't really have anything to say back. The whole interaction honestly left a bad impression of the restaurant as a whole. I don't want to assume anything, but it did make me question whether racial identity may have played a part in how we were treated, especially after noticing that the guests seated inside appeared to be non-POC. I ended up asking the host AGAIN if we could please be moved inside because I genuinely couldn't bear the heat anymore, and she was finally able to accommodate us with an indoor seating. Also, especially on busy weekends and during events like Dine LA, I think they should consider having two hosts instead of just one. It seemed like a lot for one person to manage. Overall, the food was really good and our server was great, but the hosting experience and outdoor seating situation definitely could've been better.
