Many boxes were ripped , some pieces of furniture/bulky items were damaged or broken. And one of the door frames of the new home had a large chunk of wood taken out , i imagine from a piece of furniture moving in. We had boxes clearly labeled with what room to be placed in, and many ended up in the wrong rooms. Same applied to the furniture. I appreciated them being able to move a piano (extra cost, but still! Not everyone does it.) and I appreciated them being able to accommodate the moving time shift, however the price significantly jumped from the initial estimate when we had pushed the time from late morning to afternoon. They started off as the cheapest estimate we got, out of 5 estimates, but ended up being the second highest cost. We would have booked with a more reputable company if I had known the price would jump so high. (It was a few thousand dollar jump.)

One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably.
