First, let me start by saying that the service was really good. The girl who helped waited on us was attentive, and friendly (very smiley). I also should say that they don't actually have a brunch menu, which is what I was going for. They have a breakfast menu (which ends at 2pm on weekends, which some might define as brunch) and a separate lunch menu. As others have mentioned, parking could be tough when busy, but fortunately we had no issues. The humus, as others have suggested is a must try. Amazing bread. I've returned to this restaurant many times now. Their manti are just divine, as is their Turkish tea and coffee. Ive been here twice already and the service always the same it just sucks. This is the biggest problem with most Turkish places even if the food is good their service always bad. I ordered breakfast and the bread comes out way before the food so we end up eating bread and get full the food takes long and the food is old the cucumbers and tomatoes are mushy I think they prepare the day before and keep in the fridge. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. There are beautiful lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The seats have this gorgeous fabric draped across them. And the service is good too. However, I believe the food is okay. We started off with baba ghanoush, ezme, and hummus. For me the baba ghanoush was very smoky, to the point where it reminded me of hookah. Weird. The ezme and hummus were better. For the main course we got the chicken kebab and the salmon entree. The chicken kebab plate was solid. The chicken was tender and juicy. And the bulgar was delicious. I was in that place four times. The food is okay, but nothing special. I liked their breakfast cheese platter. My main concern is the service which is unprofessional and needs improvement. I don't even know if the staff ever worked in service industry before. There seem to be a lot people on the floor but there is no use in them. You get a poor service anyway. Today I asked my waitress in a nice way if there is a free refill for american coffee, and she answered me: "You are not in a diner". From my experience, a restaurant of any level will offer you a refill for coffee if you order breakfast. My check was $40 for two people and I was the only one who would drink coffee. Found this place on yelp while looking up "salads" in the area because thats what my friend wanted to eat. This place has parking and beautiful interior decor. You feel like you are in another country. Our waitress Zenieb (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) was super sweet. Very hospitable. When she learned that I was a vegetarian and didn't have too many hot food options on the menu she brought out several dishes asking me to try them so I can find something I like there. Their bread was awesome. I would eat that all day if my body allowed it.Lentil soup was very comforting and I enjoyed the way it tasted even better with a splash of hot sauce. Zenieb brought out some Turkish coffee for me when she learned I had to be up all night to finish work. Coffee comes in a cute tiny cup. At the bottom of your coffee there is actual fine ground coffee so once you reach that, your cup is now done. That's when you stop to drink unless you enjoy drinking fine coffee grounds. I have only been to Marmaris for their dessert with family friends. This is a very authentic restaurant as is the food. The outside seating is great as well. I had the Kunefe, which I thought was great. My friends had the Firin Sutlac and Kazandibi. All are recommended. We ended up sharing all the desserts because we liked the other person's dessert more than what we ordered. They are sweet so make sure you have water. My friend had the turkish tea, which brought him back to his childhood. I didn't have any but I know he liked it very much. I did not get to have the chance to try their dinner options, so I will update once I do so. Based off the dessert and atmosphere I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
