This is based on today. I brought my car in because rear right tire is losing about 10psi's each week. Technician came out to inspect and found the nail in middle of tire. Said it was fixable. Also showed display panel that showed the right rear tire at 28psi. It was not fixed after two hour wait. Technician pointed to and found the nail in back/rear right tire. I showed him this when I started up car. Clearly back right tire. I drove home and thought it was very strange for the "fixed" tire to have the same psi. I called and found out they wrote up ticket for front left tire which was fine. Told that person "fixed" front left tire but there was never a nail and was fine at 38psi. How can you "fix and repair" a tire with no nail??? How hard is it to look car tire diagram and know front/rear/left and right???? Good news, I went back. They apologized and fixed it. All in all, this location isn't the quickest nor friendliest, but it is reliable enough for my needs. I had scheduled an appointment online, and arrived shortly before my designated time. There was a long wait before I could speak to a representative; but when that happened, the rep walked me out to the car to check out the tires and made their recommendations. I had gone in to get a tire balance and rotation, so I politely declined their offers. I decided to go for a walk around the area while I waited, and received a text message of when my car was ready to be picked up. No charge for the service since I had previously purchased my tires from them. Again, no serious complaints, just more or less what I expect from a Discount Tire. Great phone etiquette! Spoke with Scott on the phone to get pricing on 4 all season tires for my Mustang. Appointment tomorrow to replace all 4 tires with Michelin's. The only decent thing about discount is the speed I came in at 5 and left at 6. But with speed comes sloppy work, They scratched three of my brand new wheels mounting them Not to mention the wheels were almost 1400$ for the set And only gave me a slight discount off the labor. Do your research and have 2 or 3 other options of tires if you don't want the tires they initially suggest. Also just open your mouth and say whether you want the warranty or not. Easy peasy. They're always courteous and love the tire air check. Lines can be long so just plan ahead. Be advised staff that sometimes the tire info doesn't reach our mobiles so just have your air check crew make sure they send the tire info to the right mobile or just don't send it at all. As far as pushing product goes, I've never had issues in years/decades I've come here. Latest visit(s) though they are starting to push their wiper blades. "Push" is overkill. It use to be a nice place to do business with, the new crew there goal is to sell you new tires weather you needed or not, taken my car in for tire rotation, telling me my tires needed to be replaced and worn, I only had 20,000 mile and they are Michelin Premier LTX , and you can see the threads and the indicator showing plenty of threads and wearing evenly, I told the Gentleman what are you talking about these tires are 60,000 miles and you can see plenty of thread, then he said we will rotate them maybe next time I need to buy tires. By the way shopped the competition for my other car and discount is the most expensive place, I know they match pricing if you bring in but it should be there management job to shop the competition. read more

This location operates by the mantra ABS ... Always Be Selling. Had a good experience on a previous visit to this location - they fixed a puncture and I was gone. Now, however, quite the opposite. Went in simply to have one tire checked for a possible leak. Before they would start the work, they said they needed 'a backup plan' ... essentially meaning they would compel me to purchase a a new tire if they found ANYTHING wrong with the current tire. I came here thinking I was going to get a tire replaced with the road hazard certificate, but they denied the replacement because it wasn't road hazard related. It was a bit frustrating. Now that I know that accidents are not covered it makes purchasing certificates less worthwhile. Also be aware that they're only good for 3 years. The service was reasonable, they took a bit longer than I would have expected to mount one tire, but they also worked me in the schedule rather than make me wait in line as if I was getting all my tires replaced. I always go to the discount tire off Spring Creek Pkwy and 75. My tire blew in the middle of rush hour, and although it takes a good while, they did their best to help me save time and money when I got there. I ALWAYS buy the warranty on the tire no matter what...it's saved me money in the long run. They also fixed my donut tire which was flat as well, and got me in my way as fast as possible even though it was pretty busy there. It's just always where I go. You also get a free tire rotation anytime you want it when you buy from them and the warranty is high up front but helps a lot later on when you need to replace. Generally I buy 2 at a time, but they didn't pressure me into it and found ONE tire and made me feel good about only buying 1, and that it would not make a difference in that it would not make a difference in the sense my other tires are older, but didn't really need to be replaced. (If you can place a quarter on the tread and and the coin stays up on its own, you don't need a new one) read more

The employees are friendly and try to pricematch if same tire found cheaper elsewhere. The free tire pressure check is a great although line is initially confusing first time through. I've reviewed other Discount Tire locations, and while some are newer and bigger than this location, I've never received anything but exemplary service at any of them. This was my first visit to this particular location in a couple of years; I picked this one because it had the shortest wait time of several others within easy reach. My issue was that I had apparently run through a nice collection of screws, and I had multiples in at least two tires. The good folks took all of the wheels off, removed the (what turned out to be very short) screws and performed a leak test on all four - shockingly, no leaks (!). They put them all back on and pronounced me good to go for the low, low price of - zero! There are few businesses that I would even consider saying that I'm a customer of "for life", but Discount Tire has never done me wrong (and there have been countless incidents like the above) in almost 20 years of dealing with them, so I think they're my official tire store. read more

Excellent service and kind employees. I knew Saturdays would be busy so I arrived 20-30min prior to opening and smiled when I found five or six people had already beaten me to the line. Immediately before opening an employee came out to greet us and let us know they'll take us in the order we'd lined up and get us assisted as soon as possible. They did just that. Each employee came out and paired up with those of us in line and walked us to a computer. The gentlemen who helped me pulled up my info (we'd been before), took my key and pointed out the complimentary coffee and water bottles in their waiting area. I was impressed that they clearly anticipated the large crowd for a Saturday and had someone manning each computer to handle walk-ins as well as plenty of people working on cars. It was by far the quickest tire rotation I've had. Don't get me wrong, you should bring your phone or magazine to keep you occupied, but the wait wasn't excruciating. This is my chosen tire shop for all of our vehicles. I have sent my youngest son up, my wife's been there and so have I and they are always helpful, polite and respectful. No gimmicks or gotchas, they provide a straight quote and get the job done in a timely manner, and sometimes they get done even quicker. On one occasion, my son's right front steer blew on the way to school. They replaced the tire (had the road hazard on all of them) and had him out the door so that he would not miss his second class of the day at 09:25. And they were moving quickly and efficiently on the rest I saw in the bays for the short time they were there.
