I've been here many times to always buy the ice wine they offer here. NEVER have I EVER had to show my ID on multiple occasions, one of the older cashiers even went to the extent of asking me to show my face to see if it matched my ID. They didn't ID any one else but me, and I find this awfully discriminatory and disrespectful. I understand to show my ID once and move on but THREE TIME AND TO MAKE SURE IF ITS EVEN MINE? I'm no criminal and I hope this changes. Please fix on how you train your employees on not to discriminate. read more

We know that this place has great variety, but what sets it apart is the exceptional customer service. They will go above and beyond. Need the perfect gin for your martini? Ask any associate and they will walk you through the ins and outs until you settle on the perfect one for you. They are honest and not just "up sellers". I bought an expensive bottle of wine the other day and when I asked the cashier about it, she gave me "the look" and recommended another. Being stubborn and a wino, I took both the fancy one and the "cheap" one she recommended. Ill be damned if it wasn't the best wine ive had in a while!!!! Something out of stock? Ask and they can often special order it for you. I needed these impossible to find mini bottles for a party and they ordered them for me. They got there in week (Mondays are truck days) and they had them ready for me in customer service. And they always ask for ID so you end your visit feeling young. ;) read more

If you're ever looking for variety when it comes to alcohol in Kendall this is your spot. I personally love this place because it's so huge! They always have what I'm looking for and the staff has always been super friendly. A lot of the times they will have tastings for customers for any new alcoholic beverage that has or will be launching. The place is always impeccably clean and someone is always nearby to help you find what you are looking for, which is great considering you can easily become overwhelmed due to so many isles and selections of alcohol. Literally the happiest place on earth for adults. They have an extremely wide variety of wines, beers, liquor and cigars. If you sign up for their emails, they'll send you coupons and dates for when they have their events. They offer wine tastings, classes, etc. at a decent price and some are free! I've visited this store location several times now. The plus is that they do carry almost anything that you could desire from a liquor store. The prices are fair and comparable. They offer special reduced prices as well. I like that almost every bottle has a listed description of it which helps if you want to try new items or the sale items. The negatives are that I usually go during they day when there is very little activity inside. I've always had to wait in line for a cashier, although they've always been friendly. I received a $20 off $100 purchase coupon in the mail and attempted to use it. Although there were only 2 listed restrictions on the coupon, when I got to the check-out several of the bottles did not quality because of the brands, Burnetts flavored vodka. 1.75 L. I asked why they didn't qualify and the cashier said that's their policy. She didn't offer any type of remedy to explain why, offer to change it out or provide options. So, I ended up spending $118.00 when I was planning to spend $80 before taxes. My problem is that for a decent purchase amount, there would have been more consideration for customer service. read more

My Disney world. This place is amazing. The staff knows their stuff. I've always taken their recommendations and they're are always spot on! They are always concious of how much you want to spend and will help you find the best option in your price range. They are so well versed in the liquor wine world it is quite impressive. And so eager to help and friendly all the while. It's almost lole they're excited for you to drink as if they're going to be there! The prices are great. Obviously they have some crazy expensive things but they are appropriately priced. No price gouging like you see at the "convenient" liquor stores. If I could give 0 reviews I would. The store cashier and manager were not only rude but discriminated my sister in law due to her height. They gave us the most condescending attitude ever and kicked us out of the store. My sister in law was simply trying to purchase some liquor for her birthday. She is 29 and works in the alcohol industry. The manager refused to sell to her because she did not look her age and I did not have an ID. I was not going to purchase anything and was accompanying her on her day off. The manager banned us for 24 hours and had the audacity to rush us out. This manager by what I have heard has done nothing but discriminate customers and force sales. This must be dealt with or this store will close by next year. I am not a big box type of wine store guy. I like smaller shops and I love getting turned on to new wines prior to them getting high scores and inflated prices. Smaller shops often have staff that learn your palate. The Kendall Total Wine breaks the stereotype of a large score. After only a few visits, several staff members remembered my name and learned my preferences. A few Saturdays ago, I was shopping and the store manager suggested a pricey bottle that I had never tried. After talking about the wine for several minutes, he offered me a taste and used a Coravin for a sample. I was so impressed with the generosity/hospitality that I purchased several bottles. Store management goes out of their way to go the extra mile for their customers. I have visited several other Total Wines and none compare to the cleanliness of this location and the sense of true teamwork amongst the employees. read more

Fantastic!!!!!! This place has everything and the layout is really easy to follow. The staff is friendly and helpful and I really loved the explanations of the types of drinks throughout the aisles. The prices are very reasonable and they have multiple sizes of nearly everything. Definitely an opportunity to try something new without getting traumatized by prices specialty drinks at a bar. Very disappointed with Total Wine & more. I have been a long time customer however every time I leave, I'm perplexed at their high prices. I purchased 2 12 packs of Yuengling, Pilsner and flight on Monday 6/14/21. I always browse to gather price information on many items. I can buy the same items at Publix or Winn Dixie for the same price. My other favorites, German bier are outrageous. When I go to Naples/Ft. Myers, Spatan and Warstiener are in Publix at a considerable lower price than Total Wine and More. Walmart and ABC are a little more reasonable. read more

My 22 year old son and his 21 year old girlfriend went into this location to purchase a bottle of wine. When he went to pay HE was asked to provide ID for him and his companion. Confused by it all since he was the one buying the bottle of wine he provided his ID asked why his companion needed ID and was told its policy. His companion/girlfriend was not the one buying the wine nor paying for the wine she told them she can provide a copy of her ID from her phone since she did not have her wallet with her to which they were told no sale by both the cashier and manager. He asked if the woman walking around the entire store with a 13 year old daughter in hand was going to get denied service and was told NOT AT ALL she can but whatever she wants. I called the store to asked about this is was told the same thing and that it was independent owned and they can refuse service. The super liquor retail shop. Of course, lots of wine, but really almost every legal alcoholic beverage under the sun. More importantly, great beer selection and hard to beat prices. Not always the best place to find exclusive, limited brewery releases because they also have employees who like beer, naturally. Overall, a good place to buy yourself a few bottles of beer that you may not have tried before. Wow worst experience ever!! Used to be a huge fan and regular customer of this place and came in to buy around $100 worth of products and was not able to because the manager on duty refused since one person in our group of 3 left his Wallet with ID at home (he wasn't even the one paying) he had a picture of the ID and the other 2 people had their IDs but we still weren't allowed to buy. There's literally no other place that makes everyone in line show ID. What if I go in with a child or younger sibling? I can't purchase alcohol even though I'm over age and have documentation to prove it? I WILL NEVER BRING MY BUSINESS TO A TOTAL WINE AGAIN. That manager shouldn't be manager. Love this place. Organized perfectly from Wines, Tequilas, Rum and Whiskey, Oh my! Great place for gifts. Great pleace to find flasks and world beers, like Erdinger. Yum! Unlike local Stores that have local stuff, this place actually have things that'll let you know if your just cheap or just bad taste. They have a great selection of Whiskeys, Scotch and the Beautiful Bourbons. Not just Jack Daniels and Johnny Walker like other places. Not a drinker, but was picking up some cognac for a friend's birthday. Walked in, found a helpful map of the store, and went right to what I needed. It was behind glass, so I pressed the help button and sat down on my walker to wait. Hadn't even gotten my behind in my seat before an employee came over to help. He took my item to the front for me, and customer service told me that any time I need anything, to just stop at their desk, and they would get it for me so that I wouldn't have to walk. Checkout girl was super friendly, and I used the bathroom, which was spick and span! Oh! Most importantly, the item was about $10 less than I've paid at Publix! Come here often cause it's close to home. On Saturday my husband and I had the worst experience with the cashier that rang us up! She began to ring up the bottles and nothing was coming up on the screen so I asked her why isn't it working - her response was "I don't know" and she continued to ring up the bottles. So I asked her ask her again. To which her respond was "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, I guess it's not working." So I told her well I need to see what's ringing up - she told me I could walk around and look at it on the tiny register - what the hell! Then this guy walks up to her and asks her if the CLUB SODA HE GOT IS GOOD?!?! Like dude first of all it's CLUB SODA - and secondly wait your turn!! She starts talking to him and looks at me and tells me - you can swipe and pay. I answered her "yes I can if I knew how much it was cause there's nothing on the screen! She tells me "it's $337.18 swipe" and continues to discuss the club soda. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN! We should have just left the entire order on her register and walked away! My husband loves coming here to build his own 6 pack(s). They carry a wide selection of pretty much everything. I love that they even have an area where they hold classes and samplings. Recently went to Total Wine because I wanted to make sangria. One staff member was awesome, she gave me a great recommendation that was within my price range. My friend was with me and she was in search of a good wine to bring to a dinner party. The employee's eyes lit up as she showed us a $15 bottle of Cabernet that she was sure would be a great winner. She was so enthusiastic about the bottle that I ended up picking on up too and she was right. Their recommendations are always on point. First almost impossible to get help at this store then trying to help my dad get some cigars kicked us out of the cigar because only one person at a time. Understand the rules but come on we came together and I was helping him out well they lost over 200 doable sale there. Finally got help to get a whiskey bottle priced at 250 then at cash register said it was 450. Again manager with no Costumer service said it was placed incorrectly didn't honor the price after multiple times asking if that was right price before going to register. We spent over 1000 dollars and get treated like crap from manager even said go ahead complain. Really bad customer service here he needs to go to some sort of service class. Made us feel as if we didn't matter and didn't care if he lost us as customers said that's fine when we mentioned we wouldn't come back. read more

I was amazed with with place! It truly is total wine...and tons more. I went to this place looking for icewine. Found it. Bought a cheap one. And it was very delicious! I bought the Mission Hill Riesling Icewine for $28. There was a small selection of ice wine but it was expected as it's a rarity anywhere. And to find a good one if even rarer. There is plenty of wine to choose from. A whole warehouse actually. Isle after isle of wine. You could probably go here a few times a week and choose whatever to to try out since the variety to choose from is endless. Then I came across the beer isle. WOW!! Both sides of the long isle was filled with craft beers! So many to choose from. They are all on the shelf individually so you can mix and match whatever you wish. They provide a six pack carton so may place your choices. Each bottle ranges between $1.70 to $5 for the bigger ones. They have regular six packs but you'll want to pick out different ones to try. It's like being a kid in a candy store all over again! Lol read more

This place is absolutely awful. The service is horrendous. We went in to get beer and after spending over 20 minutes choosing the beer we wanted, the cashier asked for ID. My boyfriend had been carrying the pack of beer that I was going to buy. The cashier proceeded to harass my boyfriend for his ID although he was not going to be consuming nor paying for it. The cashier then called his manager who told us he could not sell me the beer because my boyfriend did not have his ID on him. We were with a group of people and although there was a minor with us the cashier still sold them the beer but refused to sell me the beer. They told us there was a sign outside saying you must be 21+ to be inside the building. We refuted that there was no such sign. When we went outside to look, the sign was under the stores hours barely visible to customers. I believe that if you are going to make a huge deal about your customers being 21+ you should have an employee at the door monitoring who steps into the building. Do not cause a scene over someone not being 21 in your store if you, yourself, do not enforce your own rules. This location is absolutely ridiculous and I felt discriminated against because although my group all went to the line together, I was the only one not able to buy the beer I had precisely selected. read more

I'm in love with the location of this Total Wine. It's in a plaza filled with shoppings stores and restaurants. The Total Wine itself and so clean and organized. People don't hover you and kind of let you be on your own so if you need help make sure to ask for it. All of the wines are organized beautifully and they even have a specials section and the lineup is a good one! The craft beer selection is awesome and you're able to build your own mixes of 6 or 8. They also have classes you can take; some free some you have to pay for but the room they're held in is beautiful! So much thought goes into Total Wine stores, it's not just a place to buy wine, beer, etc. but a place to come and learn too! I'll definitely be coming back here. read more

I want to start by saying that I was excited to come here. Because of the reviews. I had a Holiday party in the area. So I opted to buy booze here & not anywhere I usually do. I had to buy some beers & bottles of liquor. So I went with a friend to help select & help me drag everything into my car. She had been here previously to this location. When I went to check out she helped me place the items & she just stood aside reading some cards. The cashier then asked us both for our ID's (even though my friend wasn't purchasing anything). She told us yeah I still need your ID?! So I gave her mines & everything was fine. My friend misplaced her ID in the midst of everything & thought giving her old one was fine. The girl immediately took her ID gave it to a manager with a nasty attitude shaking his head that he wasn't going to sell me booze. That I could be buying for a minor. Where clear as day her ID stated she was 24!!!!!! They called another manager & treated us like we were 18 trying to smuggle booze. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. All because of an old ID I wasn't able to buy anything. While the guy behind me was agreeing that we should be able to purchase. At this point most things in the area were closed not leaving me with much of an option. To further drive to pick up friends. Turn back & make a damn purchase. Waste of time & gas it what it truly was. If this is the policy then maybe advice people BEFORE they walk in about your "club like" policies. I wonder if they also iDed all the kids running around without their parents & then told their parents that they are trying to buy booze for minors?? (Sidenote the last time my friend was here with her boyfriend she wasn't IDed. So at least be consistent with your policies) The prices & selection are great, but with the driving I did back & forth that night it wasn't worth it. read more

My sister who is 22 needed to buy some liquor for a friend's birthday and I was with her running errands. When we went to the checkout lady she asked for my ID when I wasn't even purchasing the alcohol. They refused to sell anything to my sister even if I were to step outside. Not only did they refuse her but the rude manager came over and said she couldn't purchase anything from them for another 24 hours. I would have gladly stayed in the car had I known this little tidbit. No where on the front of the store does it say anything about this ID policy.
