I've had a huge gouge in the hood of my car for a few years now. It was my dogs fault. His name is Clove. You see, my car was parked in my garage directly in front of my new (at the time) floor-to-ceiling garage cabinets. I loaded Clove into the car and was just about to back out when I realized I forgot my sunglasses inside. I threw the car in neutral to run inside. Yes, that was incredibly dumb on my part but in my defense, I'm an avid motorcycle rider and I put my bike in neutral every time I start the thing so "neutral" won the moment that day in my brain. Ok, fine, it was my fault. Anywho, when I came back out to the car, Clove began spinning in the front seat out of excitement and he threw the car into drive. I watched as my car rolled forward, crashed into the cabinets causing one of the doors to fall off against the hood. As I rolled the car back, I didn't realize the door had come off the hinge so it fell on the hood and the hinge gouged the paint. It was truly a comedy of errors. It could have been worse though. The driveway is at a slight decline so had he thrown it into reverse, my car would have ended up in the neighbors yard across the street. Silver lining. Obviously, I grounded Clove for 2 months. I did a lot of research on car repair companies and landed on Touch Up Pro due to the recommendation of a trusted friend. They did not disappoint! The guys were super friendly. They did an amazing job on the hood (looks like it never happened) and they even pointed out some other minor damage, most likely due to the same incident, that I never even noticed. i love my car. i have a hard-to-repair Honda/Acura "liquid metal" grey-ish fancy paint that was scratched and down to almost primer. the blemish area was small, about 2 quarters let's say. but on a new car it stood out and trying to apply touch-up paint myself did not work. in trying to find a local Valley paint repair, it was NOT easy. seems like there are 3 or 4 local companies with reviews that are 4.8 and above (between Yelp and Google reviews--i wouldn't even call a car repair place with below 4.5, especially with such a specialty as auto paint). out of the other 3 or so similarly-priced mobile paint repair companies in the area, Touch-Up Pro of Mesa (some of the business names sound the same, easy to get them confused) was by far the most professional and reliable, e.g. returning phone calls/texts and having a person in the office who schedules. they called the day before the repair to give me a time window re: when the tech would arrive. the repair to my paint was done today -- the tech, Ivan, was on-time, polite, professional and completely removed the damage. i will upload photos to this review soon. if there was any problem with the fix i would notice; as mentioned, i love my car. after weeks of trying to fix myself (didn't work) and trying to find a local Phoenix area paint repair, Touch-Up Pro was the winner on price, responsiveness and professionalism. excellent local business. read more

The estimator did tell me that Touch-up Pro could not make it perfect because of the depth or the scratch. I guess my disappointment was due to the appearance of the other photos in the reviews. Chad came over to give us an estimate and since we were paying out of pocket I needed to get a couple different estimates. One estimate with a partial repair and one with a full repair. Chad was able to give me estimates the same day as the initial inspection. We were able to set up an appointment for the install of repairs within a few days. The repairs included a new bumper, a new fender, and a new light kit. The entire install was completed at my mother in law's home which was very convenient! The install was completed by Tylor whom was made aware that the hood required two people to open it. One person to keep pressure on the button and one person to pull the latch. Tylor went out of his way to fix this issue for us as well even though it was not part of the damage caused by the accident as it was a pre-existing condition. The entire process was seamless and if I had questions, I could call and someone would answer! If I called and no one picked up Ashley would always call me back within minutes. I hired Touch Up Pro to fix some damage to my right rear quarter panel after someone hit me in a parking lot and didnt leave their insurance info. I also had them fix some odd damage to the front spoiler that was there when i bought the car and finally some damage to area right in front of hood. They charged me $1800 to fix all 3 areas and the next best estimate i received was for $3000 just to fix the rear quarter panel, not the other 2 areas. Plus the other body shops wanted to keep my car for 1-2 weeks to do the repairs while Touch Up Pro did the work in 1 day at my house!!!! I cannot recommend this company enough as they are hands down the best body shop i have ever worked with considering the quality of work, the price of their work and how they can do the work at your house in one day. I damaged the rear bumper on my 4Runner. I contacted this company after seeing one of their sprinter vans in Queen Creek. I sent them photos of the damage, they sent me a quote (which was way cheaper than the two local body shops i received estimates from). I scheduled the appointment for about 2 weeks from when i received the quote. A tech showed up at 8am and they were able to fix my rear bumper in my drive way in about 3hrs while i worked from home.
