Tables are not clean - cookies crumps, hair ribbons left by the customers..., for 30 min there the tables were not neither checked nor wiped once by the staff. The variety of sweets is nice but the untidy environment does not stand. Myself and other people were working on wiping the tables on our own, the staff saw it all but no interest in it. This place is open till 9pm but I came in after work around 4pm and the bake goods was slim picking... I got a veggie croquette that was tasty but other than a couple of croquettes and hotdog wrapped pastry there wasn't much offering. Absolutely delicious and beautifully created sweets! First time I have gone into this bakery and it will certainly NOT be the last time. I purchased a last minute birthday cake (for family member) and a single serving tiramisu (for myself). The tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had, and I have had a lot in my life. The cake was beautifully decorated and came with its own plastic server, candles, and matches. The service was prompt, considerate, warm, and friendly. I plan to go back to buy the full tiramisu sometime soon. I think this is now my new favorite bakery! read more

They offer different flavors that you can't find anywhere else around Portland. However, the choices weren't as broad as I thought it would be, but the flavor was definitely there. Macarons were super crunch but soft and had a burst of flavor once you bite to the middle. The milk bread was good too. Just hope they will have more variety in the future. read more

Updating to 4 stars. TLJ are listening to their customers about the supply issues and have done better to meet their customer's demand. There were plenty of our favorite sweet and savory pastries for our family. The only hang up is that their coffee maker has been broken since they opened. Otherwise, I think it's a great place to meet with friends or go out with families. Definitely something that Oregon needed for a very long time, especially on the west side. The 3 stars was based on the experience and not on the quality of its food. This place just opened up last weekend. We went for opening weekend at 11am in a Sunday and arrived to a robust variety of pastries. We came again at the same time, same day of the week just a week after opening weekend---only to find 75% of the pastries gone. We asked if there were more being baked and was told what you see is what is available. In addition, both times we came, the drip coffee was not available. Last week they ran out, this week they're still out. Don't get me wrong, the pastries are tasty, but it's disappointing to have a newly opened bakery to have a limited amount of pastries available and no drip coffee. I understand that bakeries will run out of their goods, but for a bakery of this style should not be running out of stuff after a few hours of opening on a weekend. I hope this isn't a regular thing. read more

We've been to this shop a few times since it opened. Our family really enjoyed trying several different pastries (chocolate croissant, blueberry cream cheese bread, macaroons, strawberry cake , danish all yumm) . Today, again, I stopped in for a treat and saw that kitchen workers wore clear face shields, but NOT the required face masks. This is the second time I've seen this and said something to them. One guy said the man I pointed out was 'Ben', and I told Ben my understanding was that they should have face masks. He simply said "OK" and went back into the kitchen. After paying for my purchase I looked through the doors to the kitchen and saw Ben and another man, older, still DID NOT HAVE FACE MASKS ON. The had no pastries, no croissants, no baguettes, no demi loaves, they had nothing, and what they did have like a jelly roll looked like something that you would find at a Hickory Farms store ick. The croissants my friend and I had tasted good. I was disappointed that they served the hot drinks in paper cups. This cheapened the 'authentic bakery' experience I had. I am taking off a star because of this. They should use mugs. The French don't use paper cups in their Cafes. Even Grand Central on Cornel uses mugs. Be also environmentally friendlier by using fewer paper products and use reusable mugs. I also didn't see any recycling bins. Just a trash bin where everything goes. read more

With the closing of Beaverton Bakery almost a year ago, there was a dearth of fine baked goods in this town. Thankfully we are saved! Not only is Tous les Jours a fine bakery with real butter in both sweet and savory delicacies but there selection method is genius! You take a tray and fill your basket and head to checkout. What bakery does this? I am in and out in under 5 minutes. Everything is delicious and yes, I have tried nearly everything. You will not be unhappy here! And the menu varies from day to day. Visited the Bakery for the second time, sad to say very disappointing. Had a Croque Monsieur from the HOT area..and it was COLD..nothing worst to have a sandwich like that and being cold. Although the store in the overall is very clean, BUT when I looked at the ENTRANCE DOORS and WINDOWS..OMG NASTY LOOKING. They had 5 individuals working and just standing around, couldn't they have been cleaning?? Restaurant not busy. Will maybe try it again, but Owners should take note of this. read more
