I ordered a fruit and crème danish pastry. The pastry was fresh and buttery and the cream was delicious. My son ordered the matcha donut puff. He said the inside tasted like a creamy healthy matcha smoothie. He loved it. The cafe offered seating inside and outside and prices are pretty reasonable. Both of our items came up to a total of a little over 10 dollars.
Tous Les Jours is so well made! They have a lot of buns, savory, sweet breads, drinks and desserts to pick from. Today, I got the bacon and cheese breakfast item, almond croissant and red bean bun. Yum ~ The interior is so cute too!
This place is amazingly cute when you walk inside. It's actually half a bakery on the left side and on the right side is the actual café where I walked in and saw people socializing and doing work and other things. I like this concept a lot and it does remind me of the other location, not affiliated in Pleasant Hill, Paris baguette. It was really hard to decide from all the different desserts that they had on display for what to get, but I decided on a morning bun so I can enjoy that with my kids in the morning. I definitely wanna come back to try some other other goodness. When you walk in on the left-hand side, if you wanna grab more than one thing you grab a tray and then you can grab things out of the different displays. There are also cakes in macaroons and other goodies inside the glass case near the registers. They also take Apple Pay, which is amazing!
Ive come here many times before and stopped coming over quailty and pricing. However i gave them a second chance, and never been treated unprofessional and just as a number, when I tired letting them know that the jalapeño cream cheese didnt have cream cheese or cheese inside, except it being hollow. Zero jalapeño. And definitely make yesterday. Most of everything else is good. Just very disappointing in how it was handled. Dont treat the customer, after spending $30, that our feedback isnt consider nor respected. 85 Degree Bakery does bake fresh everyday. Go there instead. POOR AND CARELESS EMPLOYEES, ESPECIALLY the older lady that works there. So entitled foreign business owners.
My friend ordered an earl grey cake from here. It was delicious! Amazing early grey flavor, moist and not too sweet. Loved it!
The blueberry yogurt cake at Tous Les Jours will have my heart for the rest of my life. No exaggeration I've ordered this cake for my birthday every year for the last 5 years lol. I would recommend ordering a cake for your occasion at least 4 days in advance, especially for the holidays. The last time I picked up a cake during Mother's Day, it was so crowded and it took every staff member looking for my cake before the manager finally found it (thank goodness). My friend recently recommended Tous Les Jours' iced matcha latte, so I stepped in for the first time in a few months. They now have an app you can download to sign up for rewards (free cookie!) and order ahead. I noticed they also offer milk snow shaved ice which I never heard about, so I hope it's not seasonal and I can try it! I noticed there was a price discrepancy between the menu and ordering screen for the iced matcha latte: menu display said a large was $5.50 and it was keyed in as $6.10. This was without tax included. I didn't ask about it since what's another 60 cents, but it was something I noticed. I also ordered a chai latte (it's under "Tea Latte" and one of their teas is chai) and specifically checked the register screen that it was hot not iced, and I still got it cold lol. The barista made me a hot one without another word which I appreciated. All in all, my experience here is usually a mixed bag but the products themselves are always good :) The matcha was indeed creamy but more matcha vs milk, and hubby said the chai was good!
Bakery goods are on the higher end but between the Korean chain, Paris Baugette, definitely very affordable. Got a cake, some croquettes (kimchi and curry) milk bread, stuffed bread (cream and jam, topped with peanut brittle), and banana croissant. The standout was the banana croissant, definitely will go back for it. Croquettes were warm and very tasty. I would skip the milk bread as it seems like an overpriced Hawaiian roll. Stuff bread was okay, not something I would buy again. Cake was light, no bad but not memorable especially for the price. If would say Paris Baugette has more flavor profile and would recommend over. Place is great for chit chat or drop by for a light snack. Staff is courteous and quick.
Decided to stop for a break after a hectic day. A sip of warm coffee, and a bite of cake, and the world starts slowing down.. I came with a couple friends! We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!
My sister-in-law got my niece her cake for her birthday. I will say I've always wanted to stop in and this was the perfect opportunity to try them out. The cake was moist, the frosting was rich and creamy, and the blueberries on top were nice and fresh with a little bit of crunch to them. The presentation was really good and the price was right. Tous Les Jours is one of my go-to places for birthday cakes. I usually go to the one in Fremont, but decided to try the Dublin one this time. It's larger than the Fremont one, with a decent amount of seating inside. They serve drinks and shaved ice as well, so I'll have to return to try that too. I really like that they have 6" cakes, which is hard to find. They also give you complimentary candles and cake server, which also includes matches. Their packaging is next level with a hard cardboard box that doesn't allow the cake to slip and slide inside. I ordered online and my cake was ready on time. The transaction was quick and easy. I came Thursday around 4pm and there were several people in line, but the seating area was mostly empty. There was only 1 girl working the register, and she seemed a bit stressed but still polite. I got the mango cream cake, and it was light and tangy, and not overly sweet. Their yogurt cloud cakes are also one of my favorites.
If you need a special cake or just a snack, this place will satisfy your needs. On our most recent visit, we ordered their mango cloud cake. This is a departure from our favorite chocolate cloud cake (with chocolate curls on top). We ordered online along with a few pastries and arrived at 2:00, our chosen time. They were out of the yuzu pastries that we ordered but fortunately, a hot batch had just come out of the oven! We also picked up: Egg tarts Chocolate muffin Blueberry cream donut Almond/banana/coffee pastry Chocolate coconut almond cookie Yuzu bars (our favorite) We have enjoyed all of their pastries and cakes so far and today was no different. I must say, the cake was absolutely gorgeous! It was light and delicate in texture. The mango pieces inside were plentiful but they were a bit hard. We think this cake would be superb if the mango had been ripe but maybe it doesn't keep well in a cake? Regardless, the cake was picture perfect and the pastries were amazing like usual. Parking is shared with other businesses. Located right across the parking lot from REI.
I love Tous Les Jours especially this one at West Dublin. This place has lots of selection to choose from. The bakery that I picked was very delicious. I never disappointed once with the bakery and cakes that I got here. The cashier here was very friendly too. A nice ambience to hang out with friends for a coffee and bakery chat. I definitely will recommend this place to people who enjoy bakery and cakes.
I've tried the cakes before, but this review is more for the baked goods. The croissants and pastries were interesting, though the milky bread I got ended up smushed :( through no fault of their own. Everything was fairly standard overall. The space itself is really nice for studying, clean, quiet, and with plenty of outlets. Solid Korean patisserie in West Dublin - good for a quick savory snack or sugary pick-me-up, and popular for their cakes. My daughter and I were shopping REI's anniversary sale next door and stopped by afterward. It was a little after 4 on a Friday, so they were not completely out of their 'baked fresh daily' wares. She got a fruit tart to eat outside, I selected a sausage roll to tide me over till dinnertime, and we got a blueberry donut and red bean pastry for her sis and mom who had stayed back home. The little one was famished, and devoured her fruit tart in record time. Then she used her "puppy dog eyes" trick to talk her father into sharing his savory snack AND letting her eat the entire blueberry donut from the "we were thinking of you" bag of take-home goodies. Which sent me scrambling back inside TLJ to replenish it with two other donuts. Happy to report that these made it home safely and were enjoyed later by all. I am a huge fan of Tous Les Jours and their delicious pastries and cakes. My first experience with trying their cakes was almost a decade ago. It was for a birthday and a friend brought a very beautiful looking cake that was packaged in a nice, sturdy, box. Little did I know that it was going to be one of my favorite cakes that I will try. (It was the blueberry yogurt cake). The cake looked like a winter wonderland with blueberries, little dark and milk chocolate shavings, and elegant ribbons of berry jam along the cake for an added touch of beauty. It was very nice. The friend raved about how he traveled to Dublin to pick it up. The name came up again a couple of years ago. Tous Les Jours. Of course, they mispronounced it and I thought, up until the last several months, that it was called Tour De Jor (kind of like the Tour de force/France). Anyways, I ended up stumbling across it, one day, while my mother was shopping at the 99 ranch market a couple of blocks away. Trusty, reliable Yelp helped me rediscover it. I mentally bookmarked my next visit here when there was a birthday. The days passed and I remembered my mental bookmark to come here. I ended up getting the Blueberry Yogurt Cake # 3 (Large), and went on my way to my brother's place to celebrate. The cake was a hit and my parents and sibling both enjoyed how it was creamy, light on the sweetness, and the subtle tartness. It also looked might nice too. I ended up getting it again three years later (aka 3 weeks ago) for my brother's birthday on 4/4. It came with a nice box and was quite delightful. It was then that I also tried a couple of their other pastries. Sorry, but I shopped with my stomach and did not read what I got. All I remembered was that their pastries were also very tasty - light, fluffy, and made the way French Inspired Korean pastries are. This is definitely one of my top favorites when it comes to bakeries within the area. read more
They have really grown on me, and this place is popping on Saturday mornings. If I could suggest anything, it would be to make customers keep their masks on forever when selecting their items. Protect the pastry!! Also, politely requesting that if you go there, use the hand sanitizer, keep your tongs on your tray until you reach the cashier and if you change your mind about an item once you've placed it on your tray....please bring it to the front with you and let them know. They won't shame you. PLEASE DO NOT place items back in the case or any random spot. Can we all just agree to this social contract when self-serving? Good to knows.... They have oat and almond milk available for Espresso drink alternatives. Our personal favorite items are: pain au chocolat (fancy for choc croissants), the hazelnut (Nutella version), ham and cheese croissant, sausage (hot dog croissant), and the fruit pastry I am posting a pic of (sorry for the bite. Located across the street from Hobby Lobby and behind Sprouts and Joann, Tous Les Jours is hard to miss even though it's a small store. My sister and I travel to this bakery at least once a week. I get really excited the day before we pick up a birthday cake for a family member, friend or coworker. You must call 48 hours in advance for a preorder. We usually don't preorder and just pick a random one from the display case. Here are the pastries I've tried far: *1. Fruit Pastry- 5/5. Fresh fruit and fresh cream on top of a crunchy puff pastry. *2. Strawberry croissant- 5/5. Cream with a hint of sweetness and fresh strawberries sandwiched inside a croissant *3. Blueberry Bread- 5/5. Blueberry bread filled with fluffy cream and slightly sweet blueberry jam. 4. French Baguette- 5/5. Remains soft all day, no need to reheat. Bought it once because I hardly ever see it on the shelf! 5. Croquette with veggie filling- 4.5/5. One of the few hot foods sold here. Filling is good but the bread exterior kind of disappointing. I was expecting it to taste like the potato balls from Porto's Bakery. *6. Yuzu Pie- 5/5. A burst of citrus-y flavor filling inside a hand pie. 7. Blueberry yogurt cake- 5/5. Most talked about cake in the Yelp reviews! The yogurt is Yakult, I believe, not the American kind. Tart, but also a little sweet. My family LOVED it. They are Chinese and extremely picky about all sorts so desserts! A total winner! 8. Chocolate cake with crunchy balls inside- 5/5. Bought this for a friend's bday party and it got raving reviews. This isn't crazy sweet like the American cakes. I wanted seconds but I didn't want to look too greedy. 9. Mango cake- 4.5/5. Good, but a little tart for me. 10. Cloud cakes- 4.5/5. Reminds me of the cakes from the Chinese bakeries. Quality cake but little boring. I could just buy it from a Chinese bakery instead. 11. Pain Aux Raisin- 4.5/5. Reminds me of Svenhard's but fresh. Too many raisins made it overly sweet for me. 12. Blueberry Cream Cornet Pie- 4/5. Didn't make an impression on me 13. Chocolate Croissant- 5/5. Chocolate dipped inside and outside. 14. Hazelnut pastry- 4/5. Filling too rich for me. I like the exterior though. The items with a star next to it is what I buy on a regular basis. Food: 5/5 Cakes: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Customer service: 4.5/5 Price: Doesn't cost an arm and a leg for deliciousness! Mix of korean and French bakery and cafe. Quality and price similar to 85degrees. Loootttts to choose from. Can get a complete breakfast here. Food: shrimp cheese croissant was unique and tasted good. Fried kimchi bun was a nice surprise too. Mint coffee latte was only from syrup, not like philz. Also sells coffees and beautiful cakes. Always pleased to visit this place to top your lunch or dinner with a delicious dessert. Slight disappointment is that you are running short on selection close to the end of the day(1-1.5 hours to closing), however still have some to choose from. Pick your fresh, mid roast cup of coffee, wide selection of teas, 3 types of smoothies and of course freshly baked deliciousness. Place offers in&outside seating. Come in and enjoy! read more

This is my favorite bakery in East Bay! I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to pick up a tiramisu cake (my brother's favorite from here!) and a few pastries. What I ordered: - Tiramisu cake - Milk Cream Bread - Macarons: Earl Grey, Green Tea, and Salted Caramel - Matcha Brownie - Fudge Brownie I stopped by at around 3pm and it was still quite busy! Their seating area was full of families and people studying or enjoying food. While I was walking around looking for pastries about 5 more customers came in. Some of the pastries were out so I would recommend getting here early. The person who rung me up was super sweet and friendly! They have the best tiramisu in my opinion! The Milk Cream Bread was not too sweet in flavor and the bread was super soft. I wasn't a big fan of the Green Tea macaron, but the Earl Grey and Salted Caramel were pretty good! The Matcha Brownie was my least favorite.. It just was not good to me, and I think the flavor combination was just not for my palate. The Fudge Brownie was super rich and not that sweet (I liked it way more than the matcha)! Both the brownies were a good size for a quick snack/dessert. Overall, I do like this bakery a lot and their cake is amazing! I will need to try more of their breads/pastries the next time I'm back. read more

The Cloud cake was really delicious . Fluffy , moist and not overly sweet. My entire family all wanted seconds. Ordering online & pickup was a breeze. I requested that they leave some room for a cake topper and they did just that . The 10 inch cake serves roughly 20 people I recommend this place. read more

Well, in all fairness, I've loved every cake I've gotten here, strawberry cloud cake, and strawberry fantasy, both great but this is my favorite!! In a nutshell: Tres bien! Tous Les Jours takes the cake for top-tier treats _____________ One of my foodie friends had been relentlessly urging me to try Tous Les Jours for ages now, so when Fathers' Day came around I finally succumbed. Risky business it was--buying a cake for the one and only, precious paternal presence in my life from a bakery I'd never once been to--but I took a chance on them. I'm so glad I did. I bought the Green Tea Cloud Cake, for which "like a cloud" is indeed a fitting epithet. Light, airy, with that soft, marshmallow-like fluffiness the Japanese call "fuwa fuwa," the cake was a tender joy to bite into. The assortment of berries on top added some fresh, natural flavour. What pleased my dad was the silky cream that carried a refined, not sickly, sweetness, that complemented the green tea sponge with a nice tinge of sugar. And when the star of the show is happy, everyone is happy. By the end of our sweet feast, at which every hint of cream had been scooped (or licked) from the cake platter and knives and forks, I felt both undeniably stuffed and undoubtedly satisfied. I also happened to learn that Tous Les Jours means "every day" in French, and while I'm not about to add cloud cake to my daily menu, I'm definitely heading to Tous Les Jours for any special occasion in the future that warrants cake. Absolutely disgusting. Nothing like looking forward to a snack all day only to bite into a giant piece of rolled plastic. This is the plastic that was in the croquette that I bought today. This isn't the first time something like this has happened here. I came a year or so ago and found a bit of plastic/wrapper in a cake, and at that time, I chalked it up to an accident. However, considering this is the second time it's happened to me at this particular location, I felt the need to post it. Love their cakes! I buy the Korean fresh cream/cloud cream cake every year for my birthday. It has a good amount of fruit on top, but I wish they would include more inside, in between the layers of cake. It's very delish forsure but my birthday is on Christmas Eve and sadly, they overcharge all cakes during the holiday season. I wish they would only increase the price on the limited edition holiday cakes, but they add $$$ to all of them. Especially knowing that they're not really completely made from scratch at the bakery (family member used to work at one)... they are overpriced to begin with. But the 4 stars are simply for the taste and also because you can't get these type of cakes at places like Safeway. I do wish they would have more variety when it comes to their bread and also wish they would bring out new batches more often. Often times, they don't have something I'm looking for, and I usually go before lunch time.Example: when I went last time, they didn't have castella, which is a very popular type of Korean bread. Also, I bought the whole wheat bread loaf and I don't know what happened, but I ate it as soon as I got home and it tasted like rotten milk... so I threw it away. This location is 30 minutes away from me so I wasn't trying to go back to the store to return it. I was going to give this review a 3 star but this is the first time this happened so I will refrain from doing so. Hopefully the next time I go, they'll have fresh and edible bread loafs! read more

Not sure what I tried from this place, but I loved every bite of it. A family friend brought these pastries for us to taste and we were all very impressed. The cream-filled pastry was so light and fluffy and absolutely melt-in your-mouth. I highly recommend it, although I'm not sure what menu item it's called. Another item (the purple looking bread) which I'm guessing is some sort of taro bread was really tasty too! I didn't try the pastry with sausages inside but I thought it looked pretty neat. I'll definitely give it a try when I go here myself sometime! read more
