    Matcha cake (size 2)
    Lynn D.

It was very easy to place an order for pick-up for a later time. I called in and asked for matcha cake size 2 (feeds 8 people). Picking up was a breeze. I told them I had a pick-up order under the name XXXX. They brought the cake out and rung it up. The cake was very moist and so flavorful! The matcha was strong but wasn't pungent. It had a light airiness to it. Would recommend ordering a cake here.

I always stop by here whenever I'm at this Hmart location. My feet just refuses to leave without the green tea mousse cake if they still have some (runs out pretty quick) lol so here's my PSFP Place: it's by the entrance/exit of Hmart Blalock. I wish they get a stand alone cafe in Houston someday like the one in NYC Service: VERY FRIENDLY! I honestly don't know where the bad reviews are coming from. ALL the crew here are nice and sweet. They are always nice to me and sometimes they even do small talk when not busy so I think that's nice and special Food: really good. I love their breads and cakes-not too sweet and not too bland. Their green tea mousse cake and their Tiramisu are the love of my life Price: it's in the range of what to be expected from an asian bakery (is this place asian? I don't know lol but it's always in Hmarts so...)

On her phone and did not acknowledged me. Had to get her attention after 3 mins on standing there

Great pastries for inexpensive price, however service of checking out could be better. I often stop by here before I grocery shop to get a snack or browse around their selections. Last time I was here, I was really interested in getting a slice of cake to eat, however the girl behind the counter was busy on her phone. Anyone who states they feel bad for her is silly. She opted for this job and gets paid to work! Not stand there and text! Not once did she look at me. After waiting a few minutes, I had to get her attention verbally in order for her to acknowledge me. Quite irritating if I may add. I also agree that they sometimes sell old bread and pastries. I used to buy from there all the time except after the few times biting into my favorite breads that it was stale, old, and hard. I couldn't trust them anymore.

The owner has been changed a few months ago. If the old owner still owns the bakery, I would give 5 stars. But for the new, just one they don't even deserve one, google just don't have 0 stars. Lack of care for the bakery and worst customer service. Sometimes bread comes out not well done. They keep the leftovers from night and sell in next morning that's why most of the breads in the morning are kinda soggy. I took the pictures last week. They're all dusty inside and out. Also cakes become more expensive. They hired a new girl and I don't think she has any customer service experience because of her bad behavior. And another girl, her name is May. I've been a regular customer for many years and I've known her since the first day. She is very helpful, funny and nice young girl. Makes me happy every time go there and so she is.

I am giving three stars based on average of two locations. The Blalock one is great and deserves five stars. The one in Bellaire deserves one star. That location doesn't seem to have their own listing on Yelp so I am posting here. I bought a cake there today and my cake was frozen!!! The fruit inside was hard and icy. It was pretty much eating a frozen cake. So that location doesn't make their cakes and those are premade frozen cake they defrosted! The Blalock location use to make to their cakes daily but since change in ownership, not sure if that is still the case. I haven't had issues buying from that location.

One of the best bakeries I have ever been to. I was a bit confused because I didn't realize it was inside of H Mart. I will be back!

Fav spot in H mart. Got the most economical coffee around and some good pastries and my favorite Purple bread. If you never been def go check it out spread the love.

Mold we found under their cake!!!!
    Stephen P.

I don't know why my videos of mold infested cake I bought at this location is not showing. Fool me once, shame on you. You're not going to fool me twice. Gross negligence (pun intended) at least, or greed with intent to sell their customers every bit of filthy, garbage for your well earned money!

    Tiramisu cake

First off Tous Les Jours is located inside Super H Mart which is mostly Korean Food. They have a good selection but go early. They have all kind of cakes for different occasions. Not sure if they do custom wedding cakes. They carry many fresh made Asian breads. Also a very good selection of cream puffs, raisins in the bread and other treasures. I saw a gluten free fresh loaf of bread later one evening but most of the real yummy varieties of regular breads and croissants were sold out. I got a Tiramisu Cake one time. It was good and light but lacked the flavoring that Italian tiramisu cake has. It wasn't a bad feature, just different. Quality was still very good overall. I wish we had one of these Tous Les Jours closer because I like the light texture and less sugar than most American pastries. I believe they close at 8pm, an hour earlier than Super K Mart. Huge parking lot. Weekdays there is plenty of parking. Saturday mornings and early afternoons it gets quite busy. If you have a nice car I would suggest going on the weekdays and park further from the front door. This is a very family oriented grocery store and car doors do fling open wildly at times. Fresh bakery in a store. Good variety. Friendly staff. Interesting flavors. Only thing is that if there was more seating it would be better.

Awesome.. Don't go to the place next to H-mart. Very inappropriate business practices and they freeze their bread for the next day.

French style baguettes are perfect. The only problem is the pastries suffer from humidity of Houston and if not eaten fresh they can get soggy and lose their texture. I am referring to the mille fuille. The chocolate cake was really good and held up for a few days. I bought 4 baguettes, 4 mille fuille, 4 chocolate cakes and 2 boxes of mixed macaroons for $100. So not cheap but the flavor and presentation was nice. It's a must try in Houston. They do not suffer from a lack of business. So lines can be long. They are efficient however!! Bon appetit

Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. The only niggling items, parking can be tough, so you'll have to either walk a block or be quick to find a place close by. I also heard great things about the mango mochi so we couldn't leave without those. Thankfully they still had some in stock. I heard they sell out quickly especially on weekends. Those also lived up to its hype. SO YUMMY! Tastes so fresh including the mangoes. My kiddo who LOVES mango anything loved them so much! My husband also got 2 savory pastries (I forgot what they were called and I forgot to take a picture) and those were yummy too. Perfectly flakey crust just like the egg tarts. We wanted to get sesame balls but they were sold out. Customer service was great. The guy that took our order was very nice. It was pretty busy but he moved through the line quickly. There's some seating inside if you want to eat there. Prices are very reasonable at $2 each for the mochi and egg tarts. The savory pastries were $3. It's located in a shared lot/area. Parking can be tight and limited on a busy weekend day but they have parking right out front for the Eck bakery customers. Also note that if you pay with card it's a 2.5% charge so cash is better if you have it. We didn't but we know now for future. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back.
