A small corner in the Hmart store, this French Asian inspired bakery is quite full of nice surprises with pastries, slices of bread, drinks and more. There are also cakes to order, macarons and seasonal treats.

So many options for french/asian bakeries, but Tous Les Jour is becoming my go to when I need something cream cheesy, red beany, croissanty. The giant Mont Blanc pastry is a big round croissant, easily shareable for $4.50. Cloud bagel is a donut shaped milk bread with a bit more chew. Red bean and cream chz pastries satisfy any cravings. This bakery occupies a small corner of Hmart, but has a good selection of cakes, pastries, bread and drinks. A good stop before u get to the produce dept.

I ordered a kimchi croquette and a curry croquette and they were both super delicious I hope to come back and try the normal version of their croquette next time

The cakes looked fresh and the facility looked clean. I would just be careful with what you get rung up. Some of the pastries we got were rang up for a more expensive one that we didn't get. And that happens, but no sorry or anything while we stood around for her to figure it out. She didn't seem to know the pastries apart. She seem nice but just not trained. I mean what do I expect from a market bakery store. But we got the Red Velvet cake and that was good. Private parking in front

Cakes might be cheaper than 85 or Paris Baguette, but size is smaller. The difference? The cakes are much better! 1. Ordered a Mango Cloud Cake #2 on the phone 2. Went to pick it up at a specific time. They were still putting the finishing touch. The cake was not made the night before!!! 3. Received 10% off for ordering more than a day before. 4. Cake came with candles and a knife Most importantly, the cake was pretty good. Soft sponge cake with creamy mango filling full of flavors. Will try some other flavor next time

Cakes look good and are equally expensive as its competitors like 85 degrees and Paris Baguette. This particular store is inside H mart at a corner on the right of the entrance. They do have a lot of parking outside. The cake variety is good and u can pre order and get names/ wishes written on the cake as a special request if u can let them know in advance. They are open early on weekends too so that is always a plus. One star deducted - coz they had no pastry/ cake by slice to sell. I was hoping i could buy a pastry and try the flavor before i order it but that was not an option. Other star deducted for no sit down as this outlet is inside a grocery store so doesnt offer many savory stuff or seating area to enjoy the treats. The staff was friendly!

Saw an Among Us cake from Tous Les Jours one day, and I knew I had to get it! I celebrated a birthday this past weekend, so this made the perfect birthday cake for my boyfriend. I ordered about a week in advance for pick up, pro tip: you get 10% your cake if you order more than 24 hours in advance! The only Among Us cake they had was the chocolate crunch one. I wish they had other flavors available since none of us are very big fans of chocolate. This is located just inside of H-Mart, directly on the right once you enter. The person who helped me was nice and helpful as they helped me get my cake. The flavor of the cake wasn't as bad as I thought. The chocolate flavor wasn't too strong and the "crunch" was a nice touch to balance out the cake. The hard chocolate shell on the outside was a little thick and was very rich in chocolate flavor. I loved the little decorations on the cake too! All in all, it definitely made a good laugh for everyone and we all enjoyed the cake. It was a pleasant first time trying Tous Les Jours too!

**Review solely based on CAKES** I love me some Tous Les Jours and I love it even more due to it being not too far from home. TY to my sis & cousin for always introducing me to some of the most amazing eats!!! This little gem is located INSIDE of H Mart. Any visit to the supermarket will immediately bring you face to face with TLJ's pastry case filled with an assortment of beautifully decorated cakes & colorful macarons. They also offer a decent amount of sweet and savory pastries as well as drinks. I have been coming here and purchasing cakes for the past few years and am rarely disappointed. Cakes are always fresh and so very beautiful!! I have never pre-ordered a cake, instead I opt to walk in and chose from whatever they are currently offering. Do I recommend winging it? Probably not but it does force you to try different flavors and keeps things from getting boring. We've never been disappointed so why fix something that's not broke, right?? Lmao. All things considered, be aware that there are a few things that may irk you: -Cakes are on the smaller side and will cost you $30-40 easily. -Requesting to have something written on your cake board is not guaranteed to look "pretty". It all depends on who is currently on the clock. -Depending on your cake chosen, designs with cocoa powder tends to be on the super duper heavy side. So heavy that guests can find themselves choking from all of the dusting. EAT WITH CAUTION. 4 solid stars. Tous Les Jours always comes through.

Tous Les Jours is located inside of H Mart which is in a little plaza with plenty of parking. I got the Spinach Feta Danish Garlic Cream Cheese Bread Milk Cream Bread And I forgot what it's called but it's a flat cream cheese pastry with a hint of peanut butter I've never had a Spinach Feta Danish before and I thought it was SO GOOD and I'd highly recommend it! The Milk Cream Bread was also delicious, it was very fluffy with a vanilla custard. I felt like it had the perfect light sweetness which is what I prefer in my pastries sometimes and what made it enjoyable for me. I love garlic pastries but I thought the cream cheese in the garlic bread was a bit overwhelming. Same with the peanut butter in the flat cream cheese pastry, I don't remember seeing peanut butter as a ingredient in it so it took me by surprise, but it honestly wasn't that bad, it was just a little bit dry. The workers at Tous Les Jours were so nice and helpful! Definitely will be back to try other pastries if I happen to stop by H Mart again!

My review is solely based on the cakes Tous Les Jours offers since I have not tried any other pastry or drink from this chain. My family is certainly a fan of their tiramisu cake!! The cake itself is so soft and it cuts through easily. One of the things you need to watch out for is definitely that heavy heaping amount of coco powder! I remember even getting choked up because of it but the cake itself was still great! Overall a great place to get pastries and cakes if you're craving anything sweet.

I thought this place would be a cute little cafe where you can sit inside or out. Well it turns out it's located inside a grocery store. They have some hot baked goods in a heated case and some others in a regular case. It reminded me of a mom and pop 85 degrees bakery. I tried the croquet and the inside filling was a bit over blended. I couldn't taste the individual ingredients. The hotdog bun wasn't too bad. The spinach and feta cheese was pretty good. The braided bun gave it a crispier texture. The strawberry bread was pretty good too. It was a pretty pink and had strawberry filling. I'd come back to try other items even tho their employees weren't very helpful

*Review is for whole cake order* Ordering was super easy and service was great. I called in to order a whole cake for a friend's birthday. I've ordered cakes from Paris Baguette and 85C Bakery before, but I think I will most definitely order from here instead from now on. Cakes are slightly cheaper, there are more options, AND they do birthday writing (on the cake base) which is super cute. I ordered the Cloud Cake #3 and was so impressed because it was $35 and it was able to serve 15 people perfectly (with small-medium sized slices, i'd say closer to medium). I called in to place the order around 10am and picked it up at 6pm. Cakes come with a serving knife, candles, and matches. Only giving 4 stars and not 5 because I felt the actual cake layers could have been a bit thicker for better cake:frosting proportions. But overall still a pretty solid fruit cake with light, fluffy, not-too-sweet frosting.

I'd give their drip, Ube latte, all pour overs a 5/5. It was a late afternoon so I went for a latte decided to treat myself to a pastry since I had inadvertently skipped lunch. I enjoy their gluten-free pistachio cake, but buy chocolate cookie looked enticing. Dubai chocolates are really saturating the market these days and if I'm being honest, some of the versions just aren't any good. However, knowing that the baked goods here are a great quality and based upon the look of itself I decided to give it a try. Wow! This was a perfect balance of chocolate and pistachio, made with real ingredients. The cookie had both taste a slight crunch and a moistness in the interior. For those who like to dip their cookies, dipping this into the Ube latte was definitely next level.

Fun place to try but I am not sure if I would necessarily seek it out. Simplicity at its best, but worth coming if you are a true coffee lover…read more Tono has been in my newest rotations of coffee shops to go to in San Jose. It is located in the back end of the Japantown strip under an apartment complex (it is easy to miss!) It's across Higher Fire JTown Clay and you will need to rely on street parking like most of downtown. Note: Tono is more of a quick grab and go environment with some seating outside (limited), so not a place to work from home/do school work, but more to get your caffeine fix. There are close by community spaces to sit though! At Tono, they do not really do drinks with frills, but straightforward drips, lattes, and at most chocolate/matcha lattes. That being said, all of the drinks I have gotten so far have been smooth and not bitter at all. I typically do not like plain lattes, but I did order one the other day and it might have been the best I had due to how non-astringent it was. What I truly love about Tono is their pastries. They are so delicious! When I asked the barista, they let me know it is all made in their kitchen located in East Side San Jose. My favorites I have had so far was the Blueberry Hand Pie (had a good amount of blueberries with a sharp lemon citrus flavor) and a salted pecan chocolate chip cookie. The food and drinks here were definitely crafted to complement each other and I am all for it. Overall, Tono is a great community cafe, check them out!

I would say that their selection of artisan chocolate bars (they got that good, good chocolate) and pastry case drew my attention more than anything else. There were indoor lounge chairs in the complex foyer as well as tables outside. What hospitable staff members! When I went up to order, the employee at my register welcomed both me and my dog. He also observed that I had my hands full and offered to assist me with adding a lid to my coffee and bagging up my pastries. I ordered the "Extra," which was basically a mocha. I thought it was excellent. Smooth with rich chocolate undertones. It also was at the perfect temperature and didn't need a sleeve. All their baked goods looked delectable, but I went for something savory and got their Korean garlic cheesy bun for me and my husband. We both agreed it was the best Korean garlic cheesy bun we've ever had. In addition to the bright garlic flavor and gooey cream cheese, the crunchy corn flakes added a nice texture to the buns.
