I met a friend here this morning and they had a large selection of their pastries. I ordered my favorite sea salt Carmel coffee, omg so good. It's my favorite here! It's smooth, creamy, sweet and salty, all at the same time. Delicious. I bought the red bean pastry and the pork floss bread. Fresh and yummy!

Stopped in for a quick treat to devour on the way home in commute traffic. Picked up a few extra for breakfast the next day. The store is always clean and the baked goodies are always well stocked. Simply love the bread! It's light, sweet and melts in your mouth. Service is always quick and pleasant. Great yumminess.

I stopped by 85° today on my way home. I've been to this location many times. It wasn't busy at all today. They were putting out fresh pastries when I arrived. I bought a few things. My favorite pastry that they make is the Berrytale. It's a soft bun with blueberry and cream cheese in the middle. I bought one of their seasonal items, which was the pumpkin-shaped bread. It's so cute. I can't wait to try it. There is a lot of seating at this location, and they also sell teas and beautiful cakes. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Their baked goods are reasonably priced and fresh.

The kids get to pick a treat of their choice from this place after a strenuous game of soccer, so we have been here multiple times. What works: *Place is clean. *Pastries, breads and desserts are fresh and fly off the shelves pretty quickly. *Prices are reasonable. What doesn't work: *they have a lot of varieties and not everything is stellar. You might hit disappointing items once in a while, don't let that stop you from coming back. *since it's a chain, the bar for quality is pretty low. Too much sugar, too much fat and grease (read trans fat) across most of the items. So treat this as an occasional indulgence. Their mango cake is pretty delectable and is a seasonal treat if you are looking for recommendations.

Came across this spot by chance while I was in the area heading to HMart and ended up really enjoying it. The selection inside is just like the other locations I've been to, with lots of fresh baked goods both sweet and savory. Everything looked like it had just come out of the oven and the quality was on point. I grabbed a few pastries from the self-serve racks and they were all soft, warm, and flavorful. They also have a nice variety of chilled desserts in the open fridges along the wall, plus more sweets in the display case near the counter. The drink ordering system is done through kiosks which makes it quick and easy to get what you want without waiting in line. I usually go for one of the sea salt coffees and this one came out perfectly made. The space inside is clean and bright with high ceilings and plenty of seating. There's also outdoor tables if you prefer to sit outside. Staff were friendly and worked fast even when it got a little busy. Parking was simple since it shares the lot with HMart and a bunch of other restaurants in the plaza. It ended up being a great stop and now that I know it's here, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Everything here is what one would expect from an 85C: the menu, the decor, and the service. I picked up my bread and paid for it just like any location.

I am not a dessert kind of person but the options here are intriguing! We stopped in on the way to the airport and I was able to bring back delicious treats from my trip. The location is clean my only complaint is when I asked for a small box at the register (so I could safely bring food through the airport) I was told there were no small box options. A woman working in the back heard my request from behind the counter and gave me a small box. I don't know who that woman is but she knows how to go above and beyond for the customer and she the reason I'll probably stop back in next time I'm in town!

The egg tarts at 85°C Bakery Cafe are amazing. The crust is perfectly flaky and buttery, and the custard is smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. Best when slightly warm -- definitely a must-buy every time I visit."

My mom loves 85°c Bakery Cafe! This location is in a small strip mall with a lot of good restaurants like Go Fish, Yi Fang Tea, DH Noodle, and H-Mart. So the parking on the weekends are especially crazy! They have a larger variety here, like more stocked than the other locations. She prefers Taro filled Buns, Taro pastry, Ube Buns, Garlic Cheese bun, etc. Service was nice and friendly. They had 4 cashiers so the line went quickly.

The matcha choco bun, along with the matcha strawberry fillings no photo take

I wish I could assign a rating of zero to 85 Degrees Bakery. The bread and pastries are of poor quality and are not well-made. The matcha choco bun, along with the matcha strawberry fillings, has an outdated and unpleasant taste. I do not possess the photograph, but the overall quality is unsatisfactory.

(Keanu Reeves voiceover) The vibe is fab place for coffee and dessert late night! Trinity warmly greeted us. (Whoa! Took me back to my fave film. The Matrix) She recommended the Caramel Coffee. Sweet, sumptuous, delish! Sea Salt Coffee. Their specialty! A perfect 85°. Wow! Someone ordered. A Doppio Espresso. Splendid! The ambiance hip, the service fab, and the drinks excellent! Will get some confections next time! Thanks, Trinity! Will be back! Woohoo!

85C is a bakery chain - this location has plenty of parking in the lot in front and takes apple pay. The barista was nice, packed our pastries properly, and made our drinks relatively quickly. There's lots of seating inside as well. The pineapple cakes were reminiscent of the costco ones and tasted good - they traveled well and stayed fresh for a few days at home. The mango delight was airy and aesthetic but not sweet enough. The tiramisu was creamy and delicious. The drink, however pretty, was not good - it wasn't sweet and the texture of the mango coconut was curdly. I'd go back to try more desserts but didn't particularly love any of the ones I tried this time other than the tiramisu.

Is there any option to order cake ahead of time for this location?

Hi Hien, please feel free to call the store at (408) 265-8585 ahead of time to check if they have the cake you want available!

I just ordered 3 cups of milk tea today with boba and there was no boba. I called the store number to see if I can swing by and pick up the boba, but no answer. My order number was 3339?

You can order online and specify date that you'd like to pick up.

Do you take orders making birthday cake? Because I want to buy one.

We offer many cakes at all our bakeries. We always recommend connecting with the store for most accurate cake availability. Most stores can add an edible chocolate round to the top of the cake that says "Happy Birthday".

The cake itself was dry and hard: the texture was oh so wrong. I don't know if it was old, frozen for too long, or some odd ingredients? But for $65 for a small 6", it was very disappointing. Of course, we couldn't leave without getting more pastries to bring home. They have plenty of classic pastries, like croissants, along with more unique specialties, like their croissant cube. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
