Watch 20 minutes to get here only to find them close to probably shut down to Covid. Would not recommend wasting your time.

That means parking is a pain in the butt. There is a parking lot behind the offices, but Mon-Fri the prices are absurd. If you want to check it out, I would recommend street parking or come during the weekend when the parking lot is free! Actual coffee spot is very clean and well decorated. It's easily a place where you can spend hours if you manage to grab a table. Great place for conversation, hangouts or work. Service is great. Because the store is small, the employees are either pumping out drinks during busy hours or getting creative with their time when it's slow. They seem to enjoy what they do which makes the experience better. Coffee is solid and they have quite an interesting list of combinations available.

The cashier was super friendly, offered detailed descriptions of the drinks, and can definitely help you decide on your order if you are unsure of what to get. The parking is street parking with a meter, but you can definitely park at a nearby public lot and walk a bit! My reason for deducting a star is because the drinks themselves were a bit bland. We ordered the iced Aurora Latte and the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea. The Aurora Latte had too much milk and I couldn't really taste the coffee itself, and the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea was watered down. I would come back for the ambiance, but not necessarily for the beverages themselves (it's possible that other items on the menu are good and we just got unlucky with our order!).

We got a quick lunch a couple of days ago and I've got to try their Chinese chicken salad, it's their version with a crispy chicken, and has peaches, it was pretty good. It's always so packed, which is great for them, but it gets loud very quickly. Not really suitable for working or having a chat. I'd say it's more of a bite and go kind of place. But their pastry section is definitely worth a visit.

The modern, fast-casual spot features a wide array of baked goods (all looking fantastic) and a menu of all-day breakfast dishes, sandwiches, burgers, quiches, and a range of other options. You order at the counter with a friendly host, then wait at your table for a runner to bring your food, which arrives pretty quickly. The crowd is a mix of young parents with kids, Hollywood types having script meetings, and all sorts of friends having a meal and catching up. It's lively and a bit loud, but you can also sit outside if that suits you more. My wife and I both ordered breakfast for lunch, with her opting for a pancake. Large, malty and nicely cooked, this was a good-looking and filling flapjack that could be improved with the addition of fresh butter and warm syrup (rather than the pre-prepped plastic ramekin of room temp syrup). I ordered the Hashtag: a skillet of Hash Browns topped with Bacon, Cheddar, Jalapeños and a pair of Over-Medium Eggs. The potatoes were nicely crisped in the skillet, with the bacon adding a smoky depth that paired well with the richness of the cheddar and the spice of the jalapeño. The very-properly-prepared eggs had yolks just gooey enough to become a sauce for the layered hash below, and making for a very appealing savory/spicy bite. I also appreciated the size of the portion, which was moderate rather than over-abundant; that keeps the price reasonable and allows the components of the dish to work together without anything becoming overwhelming. In the end, Claudine is a reliable place for a casual meal with friends; a place where you can relax and feel at home while away from home.

We ordered the bouquet burrito and chilaquiles. Food came out fairly quickly, and they even package your food in a to-go box in case you have leftovers to take home. The burrito was huge, flavorful and generously filled. The chilaquiles were tasty as well. Overall, we were happy with our quick breakfast bite. There's a communal table along with other indoor seating plus some outdoor seating available too.

They have indoor and outdoor seating options. BUT BEWARE indoor seating gets competitive. Especially on a hot day, you'll often see people moving from seat to seat to get away from the entrance or are waiting for a seat to be freed inside. It's a great place for anything really. I've had hours of conversations, reading and work done here. I've also seen many others do the same. My main con with this place is the parking situation. The parking lot is TINY, so you have to park locally. That's about a 3-5 minute walking distance from the store. I normally wouldn't mind, but it bothers me on hot days. The food is so interesting. They have both healthy and hearty options at a competitive price. It's the classic Chicken & Waffles, Avocado Toast, Bouquet Burrito (a breakfast burrito) and Breakfast Tacos. Someone in the kitchen also likes kimchi and loves mixing it in their food because they also serve Kimchi Breakfast Tacos and Kimchi Grilled Cheese. I don't know how many visits it'll take to fully experience this place, but I think it's worth it.

Paris Baguette Bakery & Restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! Entering this place feels exactly like…read morestepping into a cozy European café. They make daily, from-scratch pastries in small batches, ranging from mochi donuts, butter croissants, and custard-filled donuts to fresh baguette sandwiches, salads, and tons of drink selections like fresh juices, mineral waters, and lattes. The service is super friendly and incredibly fast. The system is so fun and easy: you just walk in, grab a tray and a pair of tongs, handpick your desired pastries, and head to the front. You can eat there or take them to go in a box. If you order a sandwich, they can heat it up on-site for you so you get a cheesy, warm, toasty meal. For this visit, we tried: World Cup Special Donut: A custard-filled donut topped with chocolate and shaped like a soccer ball in honor of the World Cup going on right now. The egg custard filling was so addictive and creamy--absolutely amazing! Almond Croissant: Stuffed with almond paste, covered in buttery, toasted almond slices, and dusted with powdered sugar. The flavor was fantastic! The inside could have been just a tiny bit more moist, and I always wish for more of that delicious almond filling, but it was still extremely flavorful. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Sitting outside is especially nice since you're facing busy Ventura Boulevard, making it a perfect spot to shade-sit and people-watch. Plus, it's located in a great shopping plaza, so there's plenty of parking. My only critique is that it is definitely a little overpriced, making it more of a "once-in-a-while" treat rather than a daily habit. Still, it's a truly fantastic spot if you want high-quality, fresh-baked bread and pastries~~~
