Eunis and Angela make the best breakfast and Lunch around! I'm in love with her breakfast sandwiches and her bi-bim-bap. There is such a wide variety to chose from. Her menus is usually set cafeteria style she has a set Menu very day of the week with 2 side options. Or you can make your own. She also caters to the vegetarian vegan crowd, making tofu and sautéed veggies as alternative sides. So good! They are always friendly and can get pretty busy around lunch but the wait Is worth it :) or just call it in. Also, they are CASH ONLY

Do not let appearances deceive you - this is not a fancy place, and barely a "coffee shop". This is a small business - a one woman show (well, two women - Eunice, the owner, and her assistant, Angela). Most patrons work in the building but there are many that come from other nearby locations. They offer two or three different hot menu options each day, plus a few soups and salads, and sandwiches made to order. For example: Mondays, they will custom make a bowl for you with white or brown rice, different grilled or steamed veggies (too many to list), your choice of tofu, grilled chicken or beef. Plus an optional fried egg, sesame sauce, and/ or spicy sauce. Wednesdays there will be enchiladas, fried chicken and teriyaki chicken. Every other Wednesday they offer a homemade Wonton soup, every other Thursday is a homemade Albondigas soup with big tasty meatballs. There is usually something for everyone. The nicest thing about this place is Eunice and her assistant, who go out of their way to make sure you like what you order. It is like going to Subway or Chipotle but with more options. You choose what you like and they assemble it. And chances are, the next time you come back, they will remember what you ordered before. If you are in Encino, or work nearby, it is worth your time to give this place a try. Cons? Not really. Okay, sometimes the ladies are a bit hard to understand. And since it is only the two of them, if you come late, you'll have to wait. Other than that? I can't think of any. Enjoy.

That means parking is a pain in the butt. There is a parking lot behind the offices, but Mon-Fri the prices are absurd. If you want to check it out, I would recommend street parking or come during the weekend when the parking lot is free! Actual coffee spot is very clean and well decorated. It's easily a place where you can spend hours if you manage to grab a table. Great place for conversation, hangouts or work. Service is great. Because the store is small, the employees are either pumping out drinks during busy hours or getting creative with their time when it's slow. They seem to enjoy what they do which makes the experience better. Coffee is solid and they have quite an interesting list of combinations available.

The cashier was super friendly, offered detailed descriptions of the drinks, and can definitely help you decide on your order if you are unsure of what to get. The parking is street parking with a meter, but you can definitely park at a nearby public lot and walk a bit! My reason for deducting a star is because the drinks themselves were a bit bland. We ordered the iced Aurora Latte and the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea. The Aurora Latte had too much milk and I couldn't really taste the coffee itself, and the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea was watered down. I would come back for the ambiance, but not necessarily for the beverages themselves (it's possible that other items on the menu are good and we just got unlucky with our order!).

The Woodman has the BEST cold brew, and their matcha is so flavorful and fresh. What really stands out is the quality of their ingredients. People don't always pay attention to what kind of milk, matcha, and ingredients coffee shops are using, but it makes such a difference. You can genuinely taste the quality here. Definitely a must try!

But the price for the size just isn't worth it. It came out to $10 per drink after tax, making it one of the most expensive coffees on Ventura Boulevard. Worth noting, their matcha powder is actually sourced from Kettl. We've been to the actual Kettl cafe in East Hollywood and their matcha lattes were cheaper than what Lynx is charging here, even using the same matcha. That says a lot about the markup. You can drive down to Rok Cafe, Yala Cafe, or plenty of other cafes on the same block and get a comparable, if not better, coffee for a significantly better price. On top of that, the cup was about 90% ice, so the drink gets watered down fast, even before you're done with it. Overall just not happy with the value here. 2/5. If this review helped, a thumbs up is always appreciated
