Why do all medical offices have a painfully awkward, inefficient, and unprofessional front office? I just... AHH. It makes me so mad. The second you go through the doors you're fine. Incredible staff, friendly, helpful, professional, and obviously skilled. But Lordy someone come rescue me from that waiting room so I don't have to listen to the staff's inappropriate personal conversation, unprofessional phone dialogue (the kind that make you feel bad for the person on the receiving end of that attitude), and simultaneously feel as though I'm an inconvenience. It's not even close to the whole staff out front, but I've been here a few times and have just been so MEHHHHHH over the whole front office experience. I was sent here by my primary doctor to get a CT done and was very happy with the cleanliness of the facility. The front office staff were very nice and pre filling out the medical forms saved me a lot of time, would recommend asking for that. Got my report pretty quick afterwards too, good to see a medical clinic thats on top of it! read more

I am claustrophobic and was a bit hesitant to get an MRI. I called and discussed my concerns with the front office staff and they were very informative and helped give tips on how to get through the exam. They also booked my appointment on there new 3T machine . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting there test result fast and an overall good experience . My doctor had the report within the next hour of me doing my exam. read more

I have had x-ray, ultrasound and CT scan procedures at tower in the past and was always happy with their staff and services. My doctor sent me in for an MRI, and I was very apprehensive due to bad experiences with MRIs at other local labs. I'm a big person and I am somewhat claustrophobic. The technician at Tower was very kind and comforting. I was also happy to see that their MRI equipment is larger and seems more modern. The equipment and accommodations by the operator made this a much more pleasant experience. I plan to have all future imaging testing done at Tower. read more

If you are able to do so you should avoid having service done by Tower Imaging Medical Group at all cost. Today, I received a notice that I have been sent to collections for a bill I paid several months go. Luckily, I have proof of payment because I used my bank's bill pay service. After providing all the correct information, the check number and account number stamped on the back of my check they refused to satisfactorily resolve the issue or admit they made a mistake. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told one was not available to speak to me even though offered to wait on hold. This is not the first time I have had an issue like this with them. UPDATE: 8/29/2017: Today I received an overpayment refund check from Tower for the amount I was sent to collections for. The check was dated a month ago. So, they deposited my money in May, processed a refund in July and sent me the check and to collections a month later (in August). Avoid them if your insurance will allow you to go somewhere else!!! read more

I was able to get an appointment within a few days of my call. I came in on a Saturday morning. There was plenty of parking and the medical campus is clean and well-maintained. Roxanna and Dennis were very friendly and caring. I would definitely come back should the need arise. read more

I had to take my father here to get an MRI and the girls in the front are very rude. I waited in the lobby for an hour and they were just so rude to the people who came in and the people that called, making it seem like they were inconveniencing them. One of the phone calls they had, a receptionist commented back " yeah that's obviously what I said". My dad even mentioned the people helping him were very rude as well. I received a debt collection letter from their collection agency CMRE Financial Services dated July 26 2016. The service was provided in the emergency room at Henry Mayo hospital on June 2nd 2016. And they charged interest too! TOTAL DISGRACE. Whoever runs the office admin for these people needs firing. read more

I have been coming here for over 10 years due to doctor referrals and I keep hoping that it has changed. Unfortunately it hasn't I have been here twice this month and the staff make you feel that you are bothering them with your tests. The equipment is great but the people are not. read more

I have had multiple visits at this location always with the same result! Never run on time. 2 procedures in a row that required me to drink 32 ozs of water, get here and am told they are running a half hour behind. Last time was almost an hour. What gives! Ridiculous! But your supposed to continue to hold going to the bathroom to the point that your in pain!! Also found out that they didn't bill both my insurances on my last visit and I paid a co-pay that would have been completely unnecessary since I am double insured. Now it's too late for them to submit the claim to my other insurance. Never again!!! read more

Staff was all very professional and courteous and the office was so clean. I was in and out in no time which was such a relief.

I came here with my elderly mother because her doctor was worried about a blood clot. We were told it was an emergency situation and had to go straight to Tower. The office staff couldn't have been nicer. They scheduled her that same day and there was little to no wait. The lady who did her ultrasound was so wonderful she was very patient and kind. My mother is very fragile and moves slowly. Every facility I have ever been to has never showed this amount of patience, empathy, and pure kindness. read more

I would like to say this imaging facility is very unprofessional with the way they handle their patients coming in for MRI'S. I had an MRI last night scheduled last night and no one in the staff informed me how long this procedure was going to take. I scheduled a 6:30pm appt so my husband did lose time at work and he could drive me there. I sign all required paperwork including one that stated after my imaging was done I would be leaving with an CD with the testing images. The front desk lady left at 5pm or so and turn off the office lights and TV and left my husband in the lobby with no explanation on how much longer I would be. When my procedure was done it was 8pm. The tech that did my MRI imaging wasn't very informative neither with how long(1 1/2 hours) I would be laying flat on a very uncomfortable table... Not sure why anyone would have a patient have all these images in one visit. (thoracic spine, foot and ankle). I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone all their director could say was I'm sorry. read more

Tower now has a state of the art MRI scanner. The SCOI docs even said the images were excellent. Wait time depends. I've had bilateral knee, shoulder and elbow MRIs done here. Satisfied with quality and service. Would recommend. read more

Used to get a lot of imaging done here but their level of service has declined significantly over the last couple of years. Many of their techs seem like they're unhappy and totally lack any ability to make patients feel like they actually care about the outcome. The people at the front desk are hit or miss, some are polite and thorough and others tell you to get something next time they could give you then (in other words they push it off to their coworker to do something they don't want to), that was pretty clear and I mentioned it to their coworker (who didn't hide her annoyance with her coworker well when I told her) and I got a response like "why didn't she just do it then?". But the thing that bothers me most is that I went there for a repeat mri so I could get clear details on changes since my last mri with them (that came with a detailed report and measurements the first time) and my report said something like "size and amount didn't change much", that's it, nothing more for my doctors to read when even knowing however much "not much" is could make a difference. I get that they're really busy there, but I don't trust a facility with important health information when they appear too busy to do things throughly. read more

For the second year in a row I have had trouble with tower's billing department. Even though I was preapproved at 100 percent for my mammogram through Tower and Sheila Veloz Breast center, I am again getting the run around because billing is NOT correct. They even sent me to collections last year even AFTER my issue was resolved. I was assured this year there would be NO problem but just received an incorrect bill from them in the mail. I really do like Sheila Veloz and staff but until they switch who does their billing, that was my last X-ray there. read more

Not a good experience for my wife at all. She's got bad osteoarthritis and was there for an mri -- finally got the OK from the insurance company. She was fairly certain that they'd need her to move the body part into a position that was extremely painful, and they did indeed require that. "Don't worry, we only need you to hold it for 20 minutes" (which was longer than she was ever able to do it before, but she was determined to try). They lied. After 20 minutes, with no explanation, they said, "well we need another 7 minutes." Then the technician said with absolutely no explanation, we need to run it for another 40 minutes. When she came out, he face was sweating buckets. She was crying. You've got to keep people informed of what's going on. You've got to realize what they can and can't do. THEN, knowing that her followup appointment was in 2 days, she said the doctor needed a disc the next day. They said they'd send it. Nope! At the followup appointment, the doctor said Tower hadn't yet sent the MRI disc. Next day, still no disc. Now we're going to have to follow up and make sure they send the disc -- maybe hand-carry it ourselves over there. So, not good! Better to go somewhere else. We sure will be next time. read more

My 6 year old son and I went to tower imaging for him to have an X-ray of his knee. This was his first time ever having an X-ray, he was a little nervous about the whole thing. We get into the room and my son wanted me to take a picture of him on the table, the technician says "I don't want to be in the picture" don't worry I wasn't taking a picture of you, relax. After the X-ray was done my son asked if he could see it and the technician said no, I couldn't believe it. He was crying and I asked can he please just see his X-ray for one second and she said no again, her excuse was "she's too busy" really lady??? I will never refer anyone to this place and will never go there again. Very very rude technician, wish I could remember her name. read more

NO CONFIDENCE of accurate reading. Back in April, I had an abdominal ultrasound. After signing in that I had no gall bladder, then after the technician was trying to find the gall bladder, I reiterated that it had been removed. When I got the final report, it reported that "the gallbladder is free of calculus, and there was no evidence of the gallbladder wall thickening" Well duh. Again! I have no gallbladder. My doctor was appalled when she received this report. When I brought this back to Tower Imaging and the manager's attention, she assured me that the doctor would re-read the lab report. The only additional comment from the same doctor who read the report the first time was "the gallbladder has been previously removed." I simply have no confidence that he afforded the time or effort to accurately read the lab ultrasound. It is convenient and the staff is friendly, but what good is that if there are no internal controls and the findings are unreliable? read more

I went to Sheila Veloz Breast Imaging Center for my mammogram (love the place) but Tower Imaging had to read the mammogram. So one month later I get a bill from a collection agency stating "Tower Imaging has attempted to collect this unpaid balance". I NEVER even received a bill from Tower Imaging. So instead of giving their patients the respect and courtesy of sending a bill and giving you the opportunity to pay, they immediately send it to a collection agency. I do not appreciate being treated this way. This level of customer service is truly appalling! read more

I took my son to Henry Mayo Hospital to have the placement of his central venous catheter checked. It was mis-billed under the wrong diagnostic code (miscellaneous) by Tower Imaging, and now both my primary and secondary insurance will not pay the small bill. I have called at least 3 times, once with my Blue Cross Customer Service agent on the phone with me, explaining that Tower Imaging needed to re-bill with the correct diagnostic code. Of course, they have not done so. I have wasted HOURS speaking with their billing company, to no avail. Today, I received a final notice in the mail. Tomorrow, I plan to spend hours on the phone, time that I do not have, trying to get this billed, only with the correct diagnostic code this time. If they do not do so, I will be calling a local TV station for assistance. Put a fork in me; I am done. Billing is horrendous; not worth the trouble to go there.
