We had a wonder evening here BUT only because Alexis saved the day. We came to watch the live music outside on the deck . We waited well over 30 minutes before we had received any help. Alexis wasn't even supposed to help us but she went above and beyond to make our experience top notch. We just happen to be driving by and saw this place existed and decided to drop in. Yes it's Father's Day. And it makes sense that people would need reservations. However when we walked in they practically empty of customers altogether. It took several minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we were there. Then when they did she said we don't have reservations so we can't really get a seat. As I look around at all the empty tables everywhere. I suppose the whole restaurant was about to fill up in 15 minutes otherwise why would that be a thing? We were happy to have Rachel as our server for another great meal at the Tower Park Waterfront Grille. Rachel was very attentive to our party of two ahead of a large party seated immediately after us on a busy Friday evening. She always has a big smile making you feel welcome and valued as a guest at the restaurant. We recommend checking out this lesser known Delta restaurant. Let's be honest about Waterfront! First of all, you should know it is on a cute, family Yogi Bear themed campground. We recently visited after seeing an ad on Facebook for Tacos and Trivia Tuesday. When we arrived, with our whole family, we were told that families with children can't participate in trivia and that it wouldn't start for an hour and a half, verses saying 5pm on the ad. Secondly, there was only one other family there, so trivia wasn't even possible! Happy hour drinks had to be purchased separately from the bar and brought to your table but happy hour food could be ordered from your table. Advertising taco Tuesday yet only service fish tacos (for $9) and meatless nachos, aren't exactly what most have in mind for Taco Tuesday... so that was disappointing. There was one server, one bartender and one cook so I'd say it's generally pretty slow business wise. All in all, I wouldn't go out of the way to eat here but if you're camping here, it'd be fine. read more

I wou love to know who has give the 5 star reviews. Have tried this place 4-5 times and it has been a huge disappointment everytime. Cold food, soup that looked as if it had been in the pot for a week. The tomatoe jelly is probably the worst thing served at the place followed close behind by the clams appetizer ever made. The taco truck at the Shell station on Hiway 12 has better food than this place. Don't waste your money or time. read more

We had lunch at the grille and we all ordered salads and they were great. There was lots of different things added for flavor and the chicken we added was really flavorful. Our waiter was really friendly and very accommodating. I know the bathrooms aren't very appealing, but I also happen to know that the restaurant isn't responsible for the the bathrooms. The Park is responsible for that, and unfortunately it looks bad on the restaurant. Try the restaurant but please don't judge them by the park management maintenance department. I will go again, but I won't be using the bathroom again. read more

We've been excited for this place to reopen for some time now and we were finally able to go last night....we were not disappointed! They've done a beautiful job of remodeling, the place looks warm and inviting. We arrived around 6pm and it was quite busy, lots of families from the campground having dinner (which was awesome to see), we were seated pretty quickly and then had to wait a little before giving our drink order but Toni the manager quickly stepped in and took our drink and food order and in no time our meals were delivered to the table. Neither one of us was very hungry so we both ordered the hamburger and it was delicious! We did notice several other dishes coming out of the kitchen that looked really good, the Pork Chop looked amazing as did most of the appetizers. The comments coming from the other tables were all positive and we can't wait to go back and try more of their menu! Unfortunately I need to edit my 5 star review. This place was great when it first opened. The food is still very good but on a much smaller menu. The service however has always been horrible. The worst waitress, Brianna, has a tendency to flirt a lot with the guys, but her service is horrible. She gets orders wrong and when you say something she blames the customer saying that's what they ordered. She also never refills drinks. They have actually kicked people out of the restaurant permanently (friends of ours) for complaining to the manager, Flora, about her. Flora is part of the problem too. She doesn't know anything about running a restaurant and she lets the waitresses run the place. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back unless new management comes in and straightens up the place. read more

Very limited menu , nothing that jumped out at you more like a continental breakfast from a cheap hotel. Had the chorizo scramble , five little potatoes and basically eggs in tapatio , no meat to be found for 12 bucks . Waffles were blah for the kids and my wife had yogurt and berries for 10 bucks , total bill 52 bucks for 4 items 1 coffee not including tip , if your menu sucks , at least hire friendly waitresses , won't ever go back for food quality and bad attidude. The menu and style of food has changed from last year at the restaurant. In fact the whole marina has changed. Once you get beyond the miniature golf course, and before the boat launch, and next to the Bumper Boats, you will be at the restaurant and bar. It is arguably the best make over on the Delta. The bathrooms are the best, the special six course dinners once a month, are worth the drive and the culinary experience. All courses are paired with a a wine from a featured Lodi winery. June is Klinker Brick winery. Seating is reserved. And then there is always the best view in the Delta. There is only one window with a partial view. If you are sitting in only one seat in the bar you can see the goose with the eye. They are replacing windows in the next round of remodeling, see if you can find it. read more

This place got two stars but that's only because of the food. We went back twice, but just for the tacos. Day1. Walked in and was asked, "are you with the yacht club?" No, and who knew Lodi even had one. Got seated in the corner to listen to the loud drunk perverted yacht guys make leering comments at the waitresses, brag about their boats and order more drinks. Had a cute little waitress who was very sweet, but probably her first time waitressing come over and ask us if we wanted a drink. Ordered a gin drink. Didnt have that kinda gin. Tried another, didnt have that either. Stopped asking and got some kinda gin. Waited 20 minutes for gin. Watched the drunk yacht guys to pass the time, after all, we were on a weekend vacation. Gin showed up. Strong, but drinkable. Ordered food. Burger and shrimp salad. 15 minutes goes by. Cute waitress felt bad it was taking so long, so she brought us 2 pieces of bread and two pats of butter, no bread plates, no spoons, no napkins for our drinks. Finally the food showed up and we were surprised to see some beautiful food that was absolutely delicious. After a couple strong drinks, we kept seeing these trays of tacos go by and we really wanted to try them. We were told it's only on the lunch menu, and they made them special for the drunk yacht guys private banquet. Damn, now we gotta come back. Day 2. Showed up at 1 for those fish tacos. Some older woman seated us in the back, and then sat down with the table next to us. I wonder if she worked there or was just carrying around their wood menus. Other people came in and had to wait to be seated as the "hostess?" Was hanging with her friends. Incidentally she stayed there the whole time. The waiter/bartender/host man came over and we ordered some of their specialty drinks and, anticipating the wait and not knowing when we might see him again, we quickly ordered the tacos. He rushed off, this time, we only waited about 15 minutes but everything came together. We got smarter. We ordered some raspberry moonshine thing which just about knocked us on our ass and a watermelon margarita that was pretty good. Tacos did not disappoint. I would have however would have liked a spoon for my rice and a napkin for my drink. Never a full place setting, maybe conserving water? Over all, I would never go back if it hadn't been for the food. It's very unorganized, most of the staff looks like it's their first day or first job, but if you have a lot of patience and an hour to wait, get the tacos. read more

Would never come here again!! We arrived at the restaurant and it did not look as well as it did on the Web page. We waited 10 minutes to be seated. During the entire wait no one said "just a minute" or "we will be right with you. We were just ignored. Next, the menu was missing quite a few of the items on the Web page menu -by the way the missing items were what we drove waaaay out there for. Next, the waitress (older woman with glasses) was more than extremely rude. She did not answer any of our dining question, well I guess she did if you call taking deep sighs (like you are being bothered) a reply. We then decided it was nice outside so we asked to sit outside, another deep sigh with a short reply. Well, we sat outside for 30 minutes and still no order, now the shade has left the outside patio and it is 94 degrees outside so we moved back in. Our waitress was overheard telling other customers, they moved out now they want to move back in.... sigh..... 45 mins later we get our food. The waitress dropped it off and split. Uh.... can I have some ketchup with my fries... guess not. The food. HORRIBLE! Now I know why the woman sitting next to me ate less than half of the same order. Salmon wrap with hardly any Salmon. Did not see the waitress for 10 mins so went looking for her and gave her my card. She never asked how was the meal, simply gave me her outstretched hand w/o looking at me and ran my card. I sat back down and she brought me my check, never saying a work and left. OK. ZERO tip with a note suggesting she be a bit more friendly and courteous to her customers. NEVER, EVER, NEVER to return. Location and views are beautiful. It's right on the delta so nice for boaters looking to eat in area. Service is hit or miss. Out of 3 times eating there in past month due to staying at yogi bears jellystone campground, service was decent only first time there. All 3 times multiple menu items were not available, food took over an hour to get to table with restaurant not busy at all. A lot of standing around at expo station by servers instead of being attentive to customers and their tables. When food finally came it was Luke warm like it had been sitting waiting to be run to table yet servers all standing around. Last time eating there the oil the fried food was cooked in tasted old and the fry on the food was dark/burned instead of golden brown. The honey balsamic dressing consistency was way off super thick & chunky as well as didn't taste fresh or good at all. Soon after eating there the last time both my young kids and myself had several symptoms of food poisoning real bad. For the prices food could be way better as could the service. Location definitely seems to keep place open & profitable. read more

This was the 1st time visiting this new restaurant. They serve delicious warm bread while waiting for your order to be prepared. We tried the steak burger with a special sauce. It was really good. We topped our supper with the coffee flan desert which was also really good, The staff was courteous and prompt. Their executive chef even came out to greet us!! We will be back. I stopped by finally to check out the new chef/owner/look. I was pleasantly surprised. First test, came in late, they served me! Nice. Place was clean, new paint looks good, opens it up. I ordered the flank steak, and it didn't disappoint. Tender, marinated, served with finger potatoes, tomatoes, and grilled onions. Probably the best steak I've had in the delta. This restaurant is located at Jellystone Park / Tower Park Inn Marina off Hwy 12. Not close to anyehere but whoever manages this restaurant has put together a surprisingly medium priced menu of some very delicious selections. My prime rib bacon wrapped open sandwich was about 2" thick and was cooked excellent! Food overload... taste as well as quantity. $15!!! Walked out with 1/2 of my plate as leftovers. The fries were seasoned with some secret spices... crispy and delicious! Service was excellent and even kids had fun in the surroundings. Theres an ice cream shop next door if you had room left over. read more

I expected much better, especially considering the price. The $18 giant pretzel was tasty and fresh but the cheese sauce was watery and was not emulsified correctly. There was visible separation of the oil which did not look appetizing. The taste of the cheese sauce was okay. I noticed the same separation problem in my son's mac and cheese. Cheese sauce is supposed to be creamy and smooth, but they were not even close to that. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was good but expensive at $17, and the shrimp were not jumbo, but at least they gave us more than 5 (the menu says 5 jumbo sized shrimp). The seasonal greens salad was about 95% seasonal greens and had only about two slices of cucumbers and five baby tomatoes. I'd be willing to pay a few bucks more for more of the other vegetables. My daughter liked the chicken tenders and waffle fries. I thought the waffle fries and pretzel (minus the cheese sauce) were the two best things. My wife's wild salmon dish (who knows if the salmon was actually wild) was okay but the salmon was overcooked and dry. The rice and asparagus it came with, however, were tasty. Finally, my "roast beast" sandwich was the most disappointing item. The bottom bun was somehow soggy and dry at the same time and the top bun was dry. The thinly shaved beef didn't taste like roast beef at all. I was not able to finish even half of it. Overall, it was not a great experience in terms of food, but on the plus side, our server was fantastic. read more

For one party...???? Seriously! This place is huge... and they close the entire restaurant? NOW literally a week later we came again - trying again... to give it another chance... and NOW they decided in this busy resort that they open at 4pm... 4pm??? What they heck.. On a Saturday??? I'm sorry- at this point we will NEVER be back, not for lunch boating, not for camping -- and IF you care to visit this restaurant --- please save yourself a visit and DONT TAKE THE RISK of driving out. Just opened July 1st. Sat on the bar side, staff was excited to be open, friendly and fun. Food was great although on the higher priced side.
