I love Bobs at the Marina, the bbq there is amazing and the vibe is always a blast. Being close to the water is also a bonus

I grew up in lvw and loved walking here from the beach club with my dad in the summers but I haven't been in a couple years. The remodel looks really nice and I love the new (to me) menu board. Service has always been great here for us, lots of smiles and friendly employees. My order has been the same for 25-30 years, bacon cheeseburger on grilled sourdough with a side of fries. I've been thinking about this burger for the last 3 months so we finally made the trip to Stockton for lunch today and it was delicious! We also ordered some chili fries to share and I loved the slightly sweet tomato heavy chili, my fiancé isn't big on tomatoes so I ate most of them. read more

Food is good. Lots of meat on this burger but the coleslaw had no flavor or sauce and there was a light slather of bbq sauce on the burger. The servers are busy so have less time. The ambiance is always chill and fun. read more

I was passing through Stockton and wanted to try a unique local restaurant on the water. Unfortunately I stumbled upon this place. Truly bland unseasoned frozen hamburger with mayonnaise and raw onions. It was messy and difficult to eat. I'll try someplace else next time. read more

I've been a loyal customer of this place, but lately, the food quality has been inconsistent. The breakfast potatoes, in particular, have fallen short of their former glory. Instead of the tender, flavorful potatoes I used to enjoy, they now come with unpeeled Russet potatoes with hard skin. To make matters worse, they're overcooked and resemble mashed potatoes. The potatoes used to be of better quality, and they were always accompanied by onions. While the prices have gone up, the lack of quality in the food is a significant downside. read more

The kitchen staff member who talks to her coworkers as if they are her own personal underlings and who today, mad with salad-based power, refused to put cucumber on my tuna sandwich instead of tomato. Here's how this preposterous scenario went: Hannah: We do not do subsitutions. Me: Do you not have cucumber? Hannah: We do have cucumber. For salads. Me: Are you experiencing a cucumber shortage? Hannah: No. Me: Then why can't you spare 4 slices for my sandwich? Hannah: We don't do that. Me: But why? Hannah: We just don't do that. Me: How much money do you need to put cucumber on my sandwich? Had breakfast at Bobs this morning for the first time in awhile. My dad had the sausage, egg, and potato breakfast and I had the short stack. My dad's meal came with only the eggs being warm. The sausage was cold and the potatoes were cold and burnt. Sourdough toast was OK. Every time I go, the proportions shrink and the price grows. I understand that they're trying not to be wasteful, but when you expect something to be warm it should be. Today the quality was not there. We were really looking forward to enjoying a nice meal by the water, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. There were multiple mix-ups with orders at our table and at other tables around us. I ordered the blueberry pancakes, which are supposed to come with two, but I was only served one. When I asked about it, the server seemed unsure, and the cook insisted that I had only ordered one. After I double-checked with the waitress and clarified what was listed on the menu, she eventually brought out the second pancake and explained it was a mistake. My friend also ordered a cheeseburger, but the patty was served extremely undercooked and had to be sent back. We noticed that the servers were constantly apologizing to almost every table because of errors coming from the kitchen and cashier. That said, the servers themselves were very kind and tried their best to make up for the mistakes, but the overall experience just wasn't what we hoped for. Sadly, we won't be returning. read more

It has been a while! Two trips later and I was elated to see the Manager that has been there for years and so glad to see my new friends Jocelyn, Dante, Juan, and Kye! Their food is an abomination There must be certain things they make that keeps the doors open but it's not Cobb Salad, Fish Tacos or a simple side salad. I paid over $27, for the worst lunch I've had at an establishment in Stockton ever. We left most of it on the table. Thankfully none of the staff ever interacted with us to ask how our meal was, or they would have got an earful. I've eaten there twice now in all my years in Stockton. Arrived on Father's Day about 9:45 am. Waited my turn to order. Before ordering the snooty young woman at the register tells me it going to be 45 minutes wait for the order I haven't placed yet. I looked over and saw a whopping 4 order to be prepared. I said to the young woman "wow I only see 4 orders waiting and 2 cooks". how does it take 45 minutes for 2 cooks to prepare 4 orders? One of the cooks became enraged and told me to get out and never come back. OK so I just got tossed and told not to return. I responded with an FU. The cook ran around the counter and attacked me. Yes, he literally attacked me. I was fending off the attack when the second cook joined the attack. Now its 2 on one. I guess I am not returning. Eat at your own risk. I've been a regular customer for years--literally. I work right next door and have been coming here for over three years, so when I say I'm a regular, I mean it. But after today's experience, I'm honestly not sure I'll ever come back. The woman in charge was completely unhinged. I called around 2 PM today 7/9/25--well within normal business hours--and she rudely snapped that she wasn't taking phone orders, then hung up on me mid-sentence. Incredibly unprofessional. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt, I walked over to place my order in person. Huge mistake. She was pacing around, ranting so loudly that every customer could hear, going off about how she can read, she knows what people order, and it's the customers who don't know what they're doing. The arrogance and attitude were unbelievable. When I finally got my order--a BLT--it came out on a hamburger bun. I politely mentioned to the young girl who took my order that this didn't seem right, since a BLT doesn't come on a burger bun. She was respectful and took it to the woman in charge. And of course, that set her off again. She glared at me like I'd personally insulted her, made a rude face, rolled her eyes, and turned her back to me without a word. If I hadn't already paid, I would've walked out. And honestly? I should have anyway. The sandwich was terrible--completely flavorless, clearly slapped together with zero care. It tasted like an afterthought. A $13 BLT straight in the trash. This was a truly disappointing and frankly disrespectful experience. Wow!!! So for a surprise my BF took me to a place he had heard about. We are still trying to find and explore new places in and around Lodi/Stockton area. Everything he heard was correct, the food was amazing the service leaves something to be desired. More depending on who's working I think. We both had the signature hamburger with bacon and cheese. First time for breakfast here. Started off great from ordering my food and they bring out your food to you. Potatoes and egg breakfast was delicious potatoes tasted very buttery the sausage and bacon were cooked to perfection. Enjoyed having mimosas here. Great spot for groups enjoyed the beautiful outdoor patio. Recommend the bucket of champagne for mimosas great price! However while we were out in the patio finished our food only drinking our mimosas a lady worker due to there power outage stated they were closed and that we have to kick you out !!! in her words that was very rude customer service and very wrong wording. I've never been "kicked out of an establishment, so for her to say we need to kick you out rubbed me the wrong way. Great breakfast. Myself and my boyfriend go to Bobs at least once/ twice a month and I enjoy the atmosphere. Nothing fancy but decent people, nice staff and good food. I always get eggs, bacon and an English muffin pretty basic but good. Never tried there burgers but curious causes they look amazing. read more

My favorite breakfast place in Stockton, but only on the weekends! I'm fairly sure Bob's is open during the week for breakfast, but if I remember correctly it's only earlier hours, where on the weekends they are available all day! The regular food options, such as, burgers are also decent, but breakfast is far superior. It's very basic, but delicious! The establishment is fairly small with a warm family feel. I love being able to eat outside on nicer days and be right by the water. This is definitely the place to go when the sun is shining! read more

I was aware they stopped serving breakfast at a given time, but I thought it was 1:30. It felt like a scene from a movie, since I got to the front of the line at 1:01 ... you know for a local place, not part of a chain, you'd think that service and accommodation would be paramount, but that wasn't the case for me! I think they only have a few things I find a cut above, and that's the view of the marina and their potent mimosas of course! I did not settle for "something else" so instead I left, went to Lumberjacks, had as good if not better breakfast, minus the view! We have been trying to eat here for a while but going on website, yelp or google...hard to figure out current hours! Called ahead today and asked about hours for breakfast and whalla, made it with plenty of time to spare. I was looking forward to 2 amazing blueberry pancakes but was disappointed.. undercooked, no browning, no taste of vanilla, salt or sugar, just bland...I would prefer Krusteaz pancake mix from the grocery store. Bob loved his steak, eggs, bacon and potatoes and savored every bite. I enjoyed a pomegranate mimosa and Bob an IPA. All in all we had a nice break from the rain and 4 spirited rounds of Pac-Man. I was very impressed with Bobs. The menu was basic but had all the right foods. I went with the cheeseburger. This burger was DELICIOUS. This burger was juicy and had the right amount of condiments.
