Thank goodness friends recommended Town 22 Restaurant. Best food and service I've had in the lake area in a long time. Rod was a phenomenal server, and the food delivery and clean up of plates etc. was top notch. Really cool French southern cuisine but all around just delicious menu. Our table enjoyed escargots, ahi tuna, ribeye with chimichurri, lamb rack, and chicken parmigiana. Wine and cocktails were perfect as well. Save room for dessert - crème brûléé and flourless chocolate torte were wonderful. The restaurant has an upscale French bistro vibe and was very busy on a Saturday night. Reservations recommended! My one suggestion is to have gluten free bread and pasta available.

Smoked salmon salad! Wow. Spinich, arugula, pepitos, charred corn, currents, heirloom tomato and cous cous with a buttermilk dressing! Divine. Our server, Christian was attentive but not intrusive! A pleasure.

This was our first time visiting this Gem in Madison. Our friends at LakeOconee highly recommended... Well! It over achieved on every level. Beautiful building, overlooking a beautiful garden and our server told us there was a creek in the back. The food was outstanding. My husband and I each ordered a Caesar salad, we could have split it... Delicious, with fresh aged Parmesan slices.I ordered the swordfish special, which came with a peach chili sauce. They paired it with sticky rice and fresh vegetables. It was perfect. My husband had the ribeye, and he said it was one of the best steaks he has ever eaten. Again portions are large. I started with the Lemon drop martini... And I shall toast to discovering this fantastic restaurant.

Had the most wonderful dinner on a Saturday night while visiting the beautiful town of Madison. The restaurant is just a few steps across the parking lot from the charming James Madison Inn which is how we ended up dining here. For starters, we had a basket of warm bread. I opted for French Onion soup for a starter and it hit the spot. My friend and I shared a generous portion of Chicken Parmesan, which was definitely plenty for two people. The food was very good and our server was EXCELLENT! Sierra gave us an over-the-moon dining experience that both my husband and I are so grateful for. She was such a joy and a pleasure. We hit the jackpot when we seated at her table. Thank you, Town 220 and Sierra, for a wonderful evening. Reservations are a must as this place is packed on a Saturday night.

We enjoy eating here about once a month. The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. The food is always delicious and the chef is top-notch. A great place for a special occasion or date night.

The atmosphere is great, wide open dining room with a full bar. There were 14 of us in the party and I'll say our waitress did a great job by handling us and a couple other tables. Only a few times did we have to wait a min longer to get our drinks. Now onto the food. For a nice place like this I expected more out of the flavor department in the food. It wasn't the best but wasn't terrible either. If paying 30+ a plate you should expect to be blown away with flavor. Other than that it was a great experience.

We had lunch here today and it was great ! We had chicken livers and the Chinese chicken salad. The flourless chocolate is decadent!

The drive takes us about an hour so we don't go as much as we would but it is always good. Very clean, classy, friendly and delicious.

This was a fabulous stop in more ways than one. We arrived late, having gotten tied up in Columbia…read moretraffic as we're heading west through Atlanta. Rather than try getting through the city and driving too much after dark, we opted to stop here for the night. "For the night?" you might ask? Yes, Cracker Barrel allows RVers to use their parking area for overnight parking with the polite request that if you're having a meal, you do so with them. In the morning, we slept late and decided that yes, some French Toast here before heading into Atlanta would be a good idea. We were through the door just after they opened at 7am and were immediately seated. Our food order did not take long at all. French Toast for Mrs. K. Biscuits and gravy and two basted eggs for me with sausage patties. Delicious, filling and no, not keto compliant but I'm on vacation. We were out and on the way before 7:45 with full tummies and that lasted a good while. Hooray for Cracker Barrel! [Review 469 of 2026 - 956 in Georgia - 25652 overall]

We ate at this location during a trip and it was pretty disappointing. Took quite a while to get our food, but I could've lived with that had the food not been so questionable. I was served "scrambled eggs" in a configuration I have never before encountered in my life. I can only describe them as a fried egg that was stirred around a little bit while cooking. I'm not even sure how you get hired to cook at a Cracker Barrel if that's what you think scrambled eggs are. Then, I found a hair in my fried apples. My husband said his hash brown casserole tasted strange and left a strange taste in his mouth. It was just overall a disappointing experience at one of our favorite and usually reliable chains.

I always make a point to share about places I stop at while traveling, as others may be on that…read moresame piece of Interstate at some point. But when I notice a business has a few non-pleasant reviews (and I had a great experience), I really make sure to share. This location is less than a mile from the Interstate and fairly easy getting in and out of the parking lot. It is one of the "big versions", which means it can seat at least 100 people (Do I know this for certain? No. But I do honestly believe it.). I opted for the drive-through and it was on point. Pulled into the line, order was taken, payment made, food and drinks handed to me in less than 5 minutes. The order was correct and the food was delicious. Because the furry family members were with me, I pulled into a parking space to let them out for a minute. When I went inside to use the restroom a few minutes later, I noticed on the tables were numbers. That's when I saw a sign instructing you on how to order your food, via their app, and have it brought out to your table. That may sound lazy to some, but I realized how advantageous that is to people who are elderly or disabled. Or what about a parent out solo with kids? Somebody had a great idea that day. So if you're nearby and hankering that chicken sandwich and waffle fries, I recommend you try it.
