Such a wonderful place to spend the evening! I happened to visit on a Wednesday evening and was really shy because it was my first time here. I was greeted immediately by the staff, and felt so welcome. The ambiance is very warm and cozy, I enjoyed the Crab Cakes with mixed greens, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF. The wine paired perfectly with my dish, even though I enjoyed a red wine. The flavors of the crab cakes with the mixed greens and dressing were composed so beautifully. And a table of complete strangers invited me to join them because I was solo for the evening. I definitely plan on returning. We came in for a group dinner, and the ambience here was very warm for a cold winter evening. They had some great live music. It is a bit on the louder side, since the place itself is not very large, I want to say they have 10 tables More or less - indoors. The food was very mediocre, I wasn't very fond of it they had a molten cake, and they served it only with raspberry syrup and whipped cream, who serves molten cake without vanilla ice cream ?!? They had no flatbreads that evening, the pasta we ordered was bland, and the crabcakes had a little crunch to them, as if there was still some shell Our waitress was also a bit slow, it seemed like she was probably the only one serving the restaurant. They also leave a jug of water at your table, which always screams lazy service to me. She also seem to have a little bit of tone for some reason. read more

My husband and I decided to stop in after our movie. I had a Bombay Sapphire martini and it was perfection! My husband had a Stella Artois beer and a glass of the Belle Gloss Dairyman. We both had a salad to start, a Caesar and wedge. Both were very good. We each had a flatbread, margarita and pepperoni. We sat at the bar and met the owners Tammy and Randy. What a fun time. Came here for an event and got great service for a party of 25+. We mainly ordered drinks but the food that we had was solid -- a step up from bar snacks but not a full restaurant selection. They have a good amount of indoor space but also a nice outdoor area. The waiters were able to successfully keep track of multiple bills and also kept checking on us routinely. Only suggestion would be to add some fans or covering outside for the hot summer days in Tracy. read more

This is my 2nd visit. My 1st visit was on a Sunday during brunch during September 2021. We were walk-ins and were able to get a table outdoors for 3. Weather was fantastic. I had a blushing mimosa, followed by their house sangria. Their brie cheese and dried fruit plate was yummy. There was live music too which just made the vibe enjoyable. Our friend who was with us ordered a wine and was asked if he wanted to try it first. He declined since he already tried that vintage. Lol. My 2nd visit was last Friday evening and showed up about 30 min after they opened. I was looking forward to sitting outdoors but was disappointed that we couldn't because they were setting up for an event and also other tables were reserved. I had been on their website during the last couple weeks and hadn't seen anything about recommending reservations otherwise I would've made one. Anyways, we were seated inside. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise because the musician eventually showed up outside and was a bit loud for us to have a conversation. it was a bit cold and only a couple tables had a fire outside, so I would have been cold. I loved my sangria and it was large, so, that was all I could drink. The caprese salad was probably my favorite dish. The huge fresh mozzarella ball in the center was so creamy. The pepperoni flatbread was good. The crab cakes were a little dry but tasty. The brie cheese and dried fruit and nuts is always a safe choice. Can't go wrong there! My husband had a couple beers and was offered a taste on his 2nd round to see which one of the two he liked. My sister had a couple different wines but wasn't asked if she wanted to try before ordering. She knows what she likes but I think it should've been offered. Overall, I'd come again! read more

I have to start off by saying come here for the drinks because the food is a hit or miss! My husband ordered the meatball pasta and the meatball was so hard that he couldn't cut into it. He had to flip it over and attempt to cut it from the side that had been sitting in a bed of marinara that was so grainy that had to come straight from a jar of Prego. My chicken alfredo was decent but some pieces of chicken were hard and had fatty pieces. Also, we were a group of 12 and it took well over an hour to receive our food. When the food started to come out, some folks got their meals 15 minutes after others. I was disappointed because we did indeed enjoy the atmosphere. We sat outside with a group of friends and started on drinks that were really good. I'm hoping they just had an awful day but the meatball pasta still haunts me! read more

This review is sooooo late, so sorry..... I reserved the outside patio for a party of 37 guests for a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. This was back in May 2024, I looked around Tracy for a place to have this grand event and could not really find many choices or rather found nothing that would work for us. Tammy worked with me re the menu, she gave awesome options, even for a Vegetarian meal for one person in our party. Our dinner started after church rehearsal so around 7:30pm and the patio was perfect, the food was spectacular and Tammy was a great hostess. I would definitely recommend having an event there or just getting a bite to eat and some drinks. We had a nice time with our guests and everything went so smoothly! Literally my favorite bar/restaurant in Tracy! Tammy & Randy (owners) are some of the nicest and most attentive owners you'll ever meet. Very good food and great wine but they also serve tasty cocktails and beer on tap. Tammy is the wine whisperer (always has a great wine recommendation!) and Randy is the foodie. Came in on a Sunday afternoon (they looked closed, but opened the door for us and invited us in) and had a great experience. Staff is very friendly/welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and tipped us off on upcoming events and how to get the best seats for live music events. This is a weird looking restaurant. It looks like the common room at some older hotel. Wine selection was good but food was not very good. It was very simple and really lacked finesse. The Press is our favorite place in town, the owners are fantastic and the staff is always super attentive and terrific when we visit. We were fortunate enough to have our wedding here recently, and they went above and beyond to make our celebration extra special and more than we could ever hope for. When I stumbled upon this hidden gem, after the SIP, my initial visit was the best experience. The staff was friendly and inviting, helped with recommendations of menu items and everything was simply delicious. The mood is relaxing and comfortable and the customers are great also. The management is receptive to comments or concerns and they make sure that the quality of food items are superb. To this day if I haven't been in a while, the staff is still on point and they treat you like family. The drinks are pure sugar and disgusting. The food was decent. I did not try the wine. Overpriced and underwhelming.

I had high hopes. I was told that they had reservations at 730 for what I think was every table there. It was 4 pm when I arrived. The burrata was ok. The bread wasn't toasted and everything was just ok. Based on that dish we decided not to eat dinner, plus this 730 deadline was looming. I was disappointed to say the least. Stopping for a glass of wine is an option. To hold an entire restraint for 3 plus hours seems insane. Service was ok. I already had a bad taste in my mouth because of a random time limit, so take that any way you want. I'm probably biased now. read more

We came to brunch around 10:15 am on Mothers Day. We didn't have a reservation. I had called about one earlier in the week, got a call back the next day and they let me know they were booked, but we could take our chances of doing a walk in. We showed up and were actually sat right away. The staff is very friendly, and they greeted my wife happy mothers day rather quickly and got us beverages. My wife had the bottomless mamosas and they had a variety of different flavors you could get that in. We then ordered, and I got the chorizo egg sandwich with pepper jack cheese on it, my son & daughter got the waffle platter with bacon to split, and my wife got another type of waffle plate that had some jalapeno flavor profile to it. The staff talked us frequently, they said they started out as just a wine bar then experimented with the brunch thing and it took off, so they've kept it rolling. Very nice outdoor seating area. From the time I called to reserve a table until the time we left, we were treated with the upmost respect. I really appreciate how accommodating the people are there. We really enjoyed the live music and the wine. I think we discovered after we really enjoyed the sangria more than anything else but by then we had already ordered several bottles and mimosas.
