Lucas took the time to teach me about tire calibration and how it affects the way my car drives. Lucas then showed me the tire pressure number on all 4 tires and how each number was different. The goal is to have the factory recommended tire pressure of 32. Lucas then offered to recalibrate and set each tire to 32 all the while with my Safety in mind. Unless you're looking for negligence, poor customer service, and a serious safety risk, do not go here. I spent over $1,000 on tires, rims, and a warranty. After they told me the car was ready and safe to drive, I left with my son and headed toward the highway. Almost immediately, the car began making loud noises and shaking. I called the shop and was told to return. They took my keys and came back two minutes later. There is no way they properly inspected anything in that amount of time. I specifically asked if the car was safe, explaining that I was about to drive on the highway with my child. I was repeatedly assured that everything was "good to go." The employee I dealt with was named Taj. I got back on the highway, and the shaking became significantly worse. I called again -- on speaker while driving -- and told them it did not feel safe. I was told it was okay to continue driving. I trusted my instincts, began pulling over, and thankfully did -- because as soon as I reached the breakdown lane, my car collapsed to the ground. They then told me to call a tow truck because they were about to close. I was stranded with my son, my phone nearly dead, and in a situation that never should have happened. When the tow truck arrived, the driver picked four lug nuts off the ground and handed them to me. He said if I hadn't pulled over when I did, the outcome could have been much worse given highway speeds. Their first excuse was that the lug nuts were the wrong size. Later, when I returned to the shop, Taj admitted there were "too many hands in the pot" and no one tightened the bolts. That means the car was never properly checked -- even after I brought it back a second time. Now I'm dealing with tire issues, and they made it clear they did not want to service me. I didn't want their service anyway and went elsewhere. The fact that they had the audacity to take that attitude after putting my child and me in danger is unbelievable. This was completely unacceptable and could have ended in a serious accident. Do not go here. read more

Ad was pay for 2 tires mounted/balanced and a free frontend alignment. 2 tires were put on my Ford Taurus. TF advisor called me to the counter to pay, said my car could not be aligned with out the large adjustment screws loosened for them, then return to Town Fair for the alignment work. (I am going to drive with the adjustements for steering loosened???) I was furious and told this idiot. They still charged for the 2 tires and mounting/balancing. I now know I could have contested the charge with my credit Card company but only learned this too late to get a reversal of the tire cost. Got 4 tires without alignment in about 75 minutes. Picked this location based on its positive reviews so I felt I should chip in.

Lucas and Haley were most helpful when my slow air leak turned into a bent rim and also when another tire was found defective. because of the late hour Haley had the leaking tire with enough air to last the night and then they would get the car in first thing in the a m. Then I got the call in the waiting area from Lucas to come out to see the slow leak tire which turned into a bent rim. He then gave me the name and number of a company to call that straightened out bent rims. when there they also found another tire with a bubble in it that had to be replaced. So called Lucas at Town Fair and he had the exact replacement for the car to be installed day after Thanksgiving. I have had many visits to Shrewsbury Town Fair and always been treated fairly and honestly but this time they really went above and beyond regarding this particular situation. when you get there first they make you feel you in heaven specially manager ed. sell you for 4 tires with everything included(lifetime road hazard insurance,lifetime rotation) when you have a problem with tire quality (like bubble) they say this problem not from the tire. they don't want to help you for. yes you understand me correctly. it's with lifetime insurance. they says you have to pay lifetime insurance when we replace the tire. this is insane. they don't want to do business in good way. this is called stealing money. after these conversation i talked to corporate customer service phone number from connecticut (800) 972-2245 with michael barbaro. he was so mean. he wasn't listening quietly when i talked. interrupted me several times. after hard talking he put me on hold and talked to east providence branch. after talking with them offer me %7 discount for new tire and rotation. i said no i don't have to pay. he back to talk with branch then offer me %10 discount. i said no. because i don't have to pay. lifetime insurance meaning only one time you pay then don't pay if something happens to tire. i have a big problem here. also few months ago i bought 4 breaks here. more than disappointing. like i said, show your money they make you person in heaven, if no money they will tell you go hell HOW THEY GETS 4.9 stars. because they give you a piece of paper with google recommendations for them. give me 5 star. and of course you are nice person. you want to help to their business. this is happened to me from manager ed. anyway folks never recommend to anybody. especially uber/lyft or delivery drivers read more

Saturday, Sept. 7 I left my GMC Sierra at your store in Falmouth, Massachusetts for a new tire. I have always purchased tires there. Since my wife and I were leaving Monday for a camping trip, I unlocked the truck bed door to get our fishing equipment ready. That is when I found out three rods and reels worth $1200 were gone. Three St. Croix rods and three Shimano reels. I did not consider taking valuables from my truck because never did I imagine a worker robbing from a customer at Town Fair Tire for obvious reasons. I had a great experience at TFT. Now that it's April, I needed to have my winter tires switched out with the regular ones. This place was located near my residence. I was able to schedule an appointment online, which is helpful for me because I work nights and am usually sleeping when places are open to call for an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, somebody literally held the door open for me to enter. There were about 4 people behind the counter taking customers so I didn't have to wait at all. The man took my info and went out to take a look at the car and tires. They told me ahead of time how much it would cost and their prediction for how long it would take was spot on. It was about $90 to replace the re-align the tires. They wrapped my tires neatly in bags. When I came to pick up the car I, again, didn't have to wait. It was seamless. Overall decent service and prices. I will say one thing - BUYER BEWARE: The warranty for road hazards DOES NOT - I repeat, DOES NOT cover labor (balancing etc) for a new tire. I found out at the last minute when I needed to use the warranty, printed in very small writing on the back of the invoice. They had a waiting area so I didn't need to get a ride. I had the 4 wheel allignment done and what I was most excited about, I got a printout of how bad my alllignment was and what it was corrected to. I bought 4 Michellin tires from them in August of last year, I had issues after driving it immediately so I brought it back to have tires rechecked I complained to them 3 times and was re-assured they were balanced correctly well after not liking the way the ride felt I went to another town fair tire in auburn they re-check everything the wheels were not balanced correctly nor was the alignment done correctly they had to adjust that so honestly I'm kinda upset with these guys here I called them directly and the manager claims they don't put 1/4 weights on when balancing wheel so if you can feel that your on your own but why charge for a service you can't fully complete for your customers read more

So I needed my tire sensor reset since I had my tires rotated and they forgot to reset the sensors. I am from out of town and someone recommended Town Fair Tire. Said they may do it for free. I stopped in. The guy very nice said sure I'll look at it. Took all of 3 minutes to reset my tires and that included small talk about how nice the tires were that I purchased for the winter. I'm a long time customer (over 10 years) for Town Fair Tire but recently the experience was ridiculous and horrible. I had two tires that need mounting and balance so i made appointment for Saturday to get it done. Come in on Saturday. Waiting for 15 minutes.. Completely understandable due to COVID 19. Finally it's my turn so I talk to an advisor name George. It looked like he was having a bad day. First ask me if i have an appointment, i confirm that i do then walk to my car to see the tires. Check out both tires and he was not happy because i bought the tires online, then he said it will be $44 for mounting and balance even though i just did the two front tires for $31 two weeks ago. Ok.. I keep my calm and tell him go ahead do it. While waiting in the waiting room, one of the young kid gets the key of my car and starts moving it to the back bay. It's a quick drive around the back but this kid revs the hell out of my car. I was pissed. I spent time and money to restore the car and this kid just doesn't care. He revs it up so high that i can hear the car loud and clear in the waiting room. I talk to the Vietnamese manager and he talks to this kid then makes thing right. As some previous reviewers stated, Town Fair Tire is no longer like it's used to be.These young kids do not care about the customer's cars or how to deal with customer appropriately. I had an 11am appointment for a winter tire change over at the Brockton location today 12/16. I have been purchasing and switching my tired at various town faire locations for the last 6 years. At the time of arrival when I asked for an estimate time, I was told there could be a wait up to 2hours. After 2 hours my car was still not in a bay, when I asked I was told it was next in line. I watched staff load 2 cars within the next 35 minutes, neither of which were mine. After waiting almost 3 hours and with no communication from staff or an apology, I opted for a refund and took my car and tires back. This is by far the worst service I have ever received at a town faire tire. I can understand a lack of staffing but that should be communicated to customers upon arrival and customers should be served in the order their car is dropped off in. Shout out to Town Fair Tire Shrewsbury for professional, capable and quick fixing of my flat tire. They were able to plug the tire, test it, and put it back on my car in 30 minutes. A special shout out to DJ, the associate who checked the torque of the tire after I had driven on it for 25 miles. He was courteous and capable, answered all my questions about this procedure in a clear and thorough manner, and gave all of my tires a visual and hands on inspection per my request. My son is a landscaper and called from a tree job he was on and said he had a flat tire on his wood chipper machine. I picked up the tire and brought it to Town Fair Shrewsbury location. A fellow by the name of Darious waited on me and asked if I had an appointment. When I told him my son was on a job and we needed it as soon as possible. I went to two other auto repair shops and they were reluctant to repair the run flat tires, so I was expecting to have to buy a new tire.
