Two weeks ago I came here for a full set and waited over 30 minutes until someone was able to assist me even though I had an appointment. While they were filing my full set my finger was cut along the side and I had to keep it bandaged for a few days. Despite the negative experience I decided to give them a second chance and came back for a fill. Again I waited over 15 minutes despite having an appointment and had asked for grey tips with a pink line, and flower on one finger. The technician was unable to paint the flower and was hurrying to get to the next person waiting for their pedicure. The line on my nails are inconsistent and not straight. I went home super upset and dissatisfied. Today one of the corners of my nails chipped off. I called in to speak with the manager and requested a refund, partial or full, to which she repeatedly refused. When I explained that I will be removing the nails because I cannot come in until after Thursday because I work two jobs and until late at night she still kept insisting that I come back to have them fixed. Came here with a reservation for three pedicures at 5:30 pm. Showed up and they sat us down in chairs at 5:45 and no one even looked our way after we were seated. We got up at 6:00 and left because there were three people working and they had all just started on new people (meaning we were in for at least another 20-30). They asked us to come back in because they were "ready now" and I corrected her that they weren't- no one was. She then said that the other people made appts first and I asked "so why take my appt if you can't honor it? Why not tell me a new time?" And then she said "a worker is sick!" and I said "so call me back and ask me to move the appt?" And she looked at me again. I was so impressed with this salon, that I will never visit another one. I recently moved to the Bay Area from Oregon, and was in search of a new place to get my nails done. I called this morning, and the woman on the phone was able to get me in immediately. When you walk in everyone is so warm, and inviting. It made me feel at home instantly. I went here again because it's convenient! - The lady kept forcing me to choose a more expensive one and I told her no several times and they tried to charge me $35 - They took almost 2 hours to do mani pedi, and literally 10-15 minutes after my nails were smudged and this is the Second time this has happened - While she was painting my nails, she added acetone to the polish bottle, which makes the polish thinner and taking longer to dry - She did such a poor job with the nails, I can do them better myself! - I called the manager and told her what happened and she asked me if I had used the hand to turn on the car, do things with my hands, of course I do thinking they were dry when I left the place! - The manager refused to reimburse the money and I had to go again in the afternoon to get them fixed - I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! read more

I DO NOT recommend this spa. I've been coming here for years, however, the service has significantly gone down hill. I WILL NOT be back after today, and I urge you all not to either. I selected the $35 pedicure and it was going alright until she started to paint my toes. She completely missed the leg/foot scrubbing and exfoliation (which is clearly stated on the service sheet and the primary reason I chose to get a pedicure). I asked when she would do it, thinking it would maybe be after the toes, but the language barrier was so high she did not understand. I sat there with my toes drying wondering when she would come back and finish my pedicure. Once she finished another pedicure I asked if she would complete mine, her response being she already did the scrubbing and exfoliating (which was a blatant lie). Other workers in the spa tried to explain she had already done it, however she DID NOT. I asked her to finish the service and she scrubbed my heels DRY for 5 seconds then proceeded to walk away and not even help me put on my flip flops like the other members of my party. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I know it is a privilege to have a pedicure and a luxury many don't have, however, when I pay for a service I expect to get what I pay for, period. They cut my skin one time. Second Time, didn't match my nail and toe color. Third time, the drill bit cut the middle Of my nail bed. Never did they offer any customer service or discount because of the mishap. They are stupid expensive (92$ wo tip for acrylic mani fill and gel pedi) and ridiculously slow. I just went to color nails in San Jose and got much better service and better looking nails for 3/4 the price. The salon would blame me and charge me for my broken nails when I knew it was their lack of expertise in strong acrylic nail art. This place is a rip off. The only good thing about this salon is the color choices, of which you will most likely be charged extra for the colors (tiger eye, ombré, etc). Who has the time or money for this horrible service? Not to mention, they DO NOT trim cuticles. They just leave them ugly and then when the acrylic grows out there's an ugly ridge too. Pass this place up. Make the trip to someone who cares about the customer. read more

Still on the hunt for great pedicures in the Sunnyvale/Cupertino area. First time at Town Nails this afternoon - had to try them because it's close to home. This was not a perfect experience, but I will be back to try another nail technician. The manager has been there since it opened 19 Years ago and is super friendly. She seems to do manicures only. The woman doing my pedicure did a good job. She shaped and painted my toenails well. I brought my own OPI polish - they have a lot of old, almost empty bottles displayed in their "polish center". The techs spend a lot of time on foot and leg massage here. Their base level pedicure is $28 and includes hot stone massage. Prices go up from there. Unfortunately, she did not test the water temp before rinsing the lotion off my legs and it slightly scalded my skin. She seemed to be rushing a bit even though there wasn't anyone waiting for service. This is not the cleanest salon that I have been to, it's cluttered and needs a decor update. I probably wouldn't recommend services like waxing or massage. However, their prices for nails seem to be on the lower end when compared to other area nail salons. read more
