The only thing that I think could have been improved upon was one side of my back got more attention than the other, but for all I know it's because that side felt like it needed more work - so I'm not going to dock points for something like that when the whole service was exactly what I wanted out of a massage. Next time I think I'll spring for a longer one though - 60 minutes wasn't quite enough, I wasn't ready to go back to the real world! The staff are professional and consistently excellent - I haven't had a bad massage here yet. My wife and I like to get couples massages here once a month and they have a number of rooms that can be combined to enable it, so it's easy to schedule. Pricing is good considering the Bay Area and you can get a membership that lowers the prices further. Parking is tricky around dinner time as the parking lot is shared with some restaurants and a local dive bar, but during the day it's very easy.

If you get a male massuse, wear a bra that opens in the back, and they might ask you to remove your shirt so they can have access to your back area. This wasn't a problem. My male massuse had firm pressure to get knots out and was very through and did a slow, job (not rushed or sloppy). I liked this place more as they use oils and not a salt scrub for my feet and legs and then you are rinsed off with hot towel. Its a busy Korean strip mall so parking is a bit tight. I tipped $20 because this man did a good job; don't skimp on the tips please! These folks aren't paid that well hourly and rely on the tips to supplement their income. Bring CASH for the tip so they can take it home and they have sign that says $15-20 MINIMUM tip for 1 hour of work: thats reasonable. total out the door: $65....a bargain massage done well.

I've also experienced situations where walk-in customers were booked into overlapping time slots, or agreed-upon appointments weren't honored because the schedule had been overbooked. This has created unnecessary stress and frustration, especially when you've planned your day around an appointment. The massage therapists themselves are fantastic, but I hope the scheduling process can be improved because it doesn't reflect the quality of the therapists or the overall experience they provide.

I LOVE Cindy and her chic new salon, Spearmint Nails! I've been going to Cindy for almost Everything from manicure/pedicure, waxing to eyelashes extensions. She manages to make me feel oh-so-fabulous every single time. I have not tried any permanent make-up (mainly because I'm scared of having needles near my face) but I've seen a lot of her work and I'd have to say that they all look very pretty and natural. Cindy used to work at Lavande Nail Spa in Santana Row AND I am just so glad she decided to open her own business. My first experience at Spearmint Nails salon was fantastic! However, I would recommend you to look for the big Saigon Salon & Spa sign since Spearmint Nails is located right next to it and it can be hard to spot at times. I've recommended Cindy to many of my friends and every single one of them returned with nothing less but great feed-backs. Her prices are affordable and she gives great discount on top of it! She gave me a generous $10 discount last time I went JUST for checking in on yelp. It's a perfect time to give Cindy a try while she's still having this great deal: $5 off $15+ and $10 off $30+. Ask about the stamp card since she also offers free services after certain numbers of visits. My personal favorites are her manicure/ pedicure packages for all under $45 (she even throws in complimentary snacks & wine!!), much better prices compared to Lavande with exceptional service. I am a perfectionist, especially when it comes to beauty. Cindy, at Spearmint is my only go to girl in the bay. Cindy's work portrays perfection and passion for detail. I get my Mani & Pedi and Lash extensions done with Cindy. Though, I recommend her for all of her services. Her nail art is also very trendy. She has all of the art design crystals, shapes, and sizes you can think of. Her shop also carries high end brands and a wide ranges of gel and non gel polishes. I am lucky and grateful to have her locally. Prior to this, I flew to LA once a month to get "maintenance". I love her and her work!! She is AAAAHmazing!! Worth every single $$$$ read more

Amy consistently provides great customer service and work, and has a memory like an elephant because she never forgets! From my first few appointments she remembered to be careful with my nails because I have very high nail beds and in the past I've been traumatized with how careless others have been, clipping/nicking them. Amy also has me check my nails every time she cuts and files them so that I can point out any nails I want to file/shape differently because she knows how much attention I pay to detail. She's easy to speak up with and voice concerns. I always get compliments on my nails and when asked about them, I always recommend her. Additionally, she is the business owner so if you're looking to support a local SMB ran by a boss ass bi*ch, this is your place. Ambiance: Never crowded and always peaceful. Some of the more popular chains in the area are really nice inside aesthetically speaking, but are SO noisy because of their popularity and completely takes away from the peacefulness of a pedicure. Appointments/waiting: If you're getting a pedicure, 9 times out of 10 you'll be taken right away, or will hardly need to wait for long without an appointment. If getting acrylics/dip/gel (long nail styles) I'd recommend calling and booking with Amy in advance because she's always busy with appointments. However, once you get her number (or DM her on instagram) she's easy to schedule with. To this day I either text her or DM her to make an appointment for the week; I never call lol. Large parties: She will also shut down the salon for a few hours or the afternoon for a private event. She's hosted several bachelorette parties and will allow you to come early to decorate, bring food, drinks, play your own music, etc. Price: Very fair and reasonable. In comparison to others in the South Bay, I'd even say she charges on the lower end, however it will depend on the style and detail. For example, if you're getting fake nails, acrylic, gemstones, a lot of detail, etc. that will of course add to the price which is understandable and to be expected. However, even after add-ons, the price still remains very reasonable for what you're getting. Additional services: She even does lashes and waxing! I can't speak to either of those services myself because I only get my nails done there, but I wanted it to be know that those are services she offers as well.

No clients at all so I was expecting good service since there's no rush but I was so wrong. I had two technician work on me too. I came in for a pedicure and manicure with soak off. The acrylic I had on 3 of my nails are still on my nail beds. The residual acrylic is still intact and I was charged $15 for a soak off. You can see how my manicure turned out from the pictures. My cuticle care was poorly done as well because there's dead skin on there and I wasn't given any cuticle oil or moisturizer so you can see all the dryness. I opted out for colors hoping they would spend more time on nail care : ( My pedicure (didn't want to post my feet pics) job is actually really comical. The nail isn't fully painted with the color because she didn't paint close to the sides and corners. I have never had a pedicure this poorly painted before. There was only one nail tech working, another customer already waiting, and no one even bothered to check my appointment. I was just asked what I wanted and told to sit down. That alone told me everything. I waited about 15 minutes before being seen. The pedicure itself was fine, but while I was sitting there, more and more people kept coming in even though existing clients were not finished. It was obvious they were overbooking. After my pedicure, which was not even completed since my toes were not painted yet, I was told to wait another 25 minutes. At that point it was already close to noon. I left briefly to grab coffee and came back at 12:35 PM. They still were not ready. I ended up waiting about an hour, not the 25 minutes I was told. My 10:30 AM appointment did not end until 2:00 PM. That is 3.5 hours. I even told them to skip painting my nails just so I could leave sooner, and it still took that long. At checkout, I said I would not be paying full price due to the excessive wait. One staff member was apologetic, but another stepped in and insisted I pay full price, clearly annoyed that I even asked for a discount. Only after pushing back did they take 10 dollars off. I paid 105 dollars for a 3.5 hour appointment that was not even fully completed. This place is disorganized, overbooks aggressively, and does not respect customers' time. A 10 dollar discount for this experience is honestly insulting. Would not come back. Would not recommend.
