we went to celebrate our anniversary. we arrived about 15 min early and got to pick our table. the restaurant was not very busy. had a very dirty wine glass in the table which was given to the waiter. placed an order for 2 glasses wine, placed our order for an app as well as main meals. took almost 50 min for the app after 1.5 hours waiting still no main meal we left. the alp was warm and marginal in taste. we left money on the table to cover the two glasses of wine we both had as well as the app. the music that was playing through the speaker above our heads played the same crap music. i would not recommend this place to any one they charge top dollar and get subpar food and service. read more

This is a unique place in the heart of Fall River. I believe it is 3 places in one. A Tappas bar, Cafe and Steakhouse. We sat in the Tappas bar yet had full access to all 3 menus. We ordered the filet with Asparagus, Chowder and a Portuguese Steak. The wifey liked the chowder. Her steak was delish and full of flavor. It had a perfectly cooked egg, vibrant peppers and plenty of garlic to keep the local vampires away. Now I debated between the filet, the ribeye and the Tomahawk steak. Since we had never eaten here before I was conservative and went with the Filet. It is served a LA cart so I added grilled asparagus. The cut of the filet was superb, with not one ounce of fat or grizzle on it. Presentation was outstanding. Bobby Flay and Gordon Ramsey would be impressed See the pic. The way it was cooked was in line with any top tier steakhouse in the country. It was perfectly charred and the flavor was sealed in with a nice artery clogging dose of garlic butter. Bottomless Mimosas were excellent even at $22 dollars . The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. One of these days when I come here i will try and not be so hungry , so I can remember to take a picture before I eat all my food. The service here is always good. First impression: clean, simple but very cute decor and spacious. Food impression: get size portions, not too big which sometimes comes with going to Portuguese restaurants, which I could see how some people find that "great" but it gets overwhelming to me. The only thing I felt weird about was that I ordered an ice coffee but no alcohol (pregnant) and it came in a plastic to go cup with a plastic cover?? It seemed weird. Everyone else got a glass cup- when I'm paying to sit inside a nice restaurant with a $12-$20 plate menu I expect to be served in glassware not a plastic to go cup... not sure why that happened but ? For $125 lunch it was a major disappointment. Rave worthy - the hosein sauced cauliflower. So good. The black & white sesame seeds are the perfect touch. The Portuguese steak sandwich & the squid were both fine. The mushroom flatbread was bland. Like a frozen flat bread pizza from the supermarket. The oysters were dreadful. They were gritty from shells & sand. They were not cleaned properly. And so slow with service on every level - drinks - apps - main course all take far too long. I am very disappointed in this experience. Sangria was good. Savannah our waitress was a peach. My friend and I both ordered the baked stuffed salmon. We ate about 6pm. There was no seafood in the stuffing, the fish was dry. Tasted like it was reheated. The Brussel sprouts were not cooked properly could not even cut them with a knife. Went for lunch yesterday with a friend. I was looking forward since it was my first time. My server was very friendly and nice. However, my meal was extremely disappointing. I started with shrimp cocktail, for $3.50 each I was expecting something better than tiny shrimp. Also, ordered sautéed spinach. When it arrived it was a very, very small portion and was informed be my server that they had run out and there would be no charge. How do you run out at lunch? I ordered the prime filet. I usually order medium rare, however most places over cook med rare. I asked my server if they make it a true med rare, she replied yes. I then asked for medium. My family ate here for Father's day and since I was unable to join, I called ahead and ordered a bottle of champagne for the table. The person taking my order was very nice, but apparently misunderstood when I said to charge a total of $50 to my card for the $45 bottle and instead gave herself a $50 tip and charged me a total of $95.
