This little local cafe is a gem! The biscuits and sausage gravy is the best you will ever have. The staff are all friendly- efficient- knowledgeable- and work great together! They are only open for breakfast and lunch - closing at 2 so be sure to head this way if you are ever in Harrison AR

    Almost gone. Most excellent!!

The food was amazing. The service was professional and the ambiance was hometown cozy. Will definitely be back, soon. Coffee excellent, grits were absolutely perfect, omelette melted in my mouth and the hash browns were yummy.

Two egg, two pancake with sausage breakfast

Gave this place a try while on an impromptu visit to Harrison this week. Greeted promptly by Roman who was witty and friendly. Husband ordered some massive amount of meat and eggs and hash browns with sourdough toast. He let me have a piece of toast and it was amazing! I ordered the two egg & pancake breakfast with sausage. It was so so good! We are coffee snobs and the coffee even though it was drip coffee was so good. The decor was so quaint and hometown. Loved the rock walls! We can't wait to visit again when we come through!

We had breakfast. Good old fashioned cooking. We took a lemon pie to go. That was very good also.

The Wife and I stop here every time we visit her family. Love the people and the atmosphere. The food is good and the price is right.

This is the quintessential Ozarks comfort food restaurant! It has the ambiance and feel of the…read moreOzarks even though it's owned and run by fellow Oklahomans! The chicken fried steak is the best. Not greasy. Huge! The gravy is on point. We tried the cream cheese corn and I'd have to say that I thought the green beans are better. The onion rings are incredible! The mashed potatoes are very good. The service is good. The only issue we had was that we had ordered a side order of onion rings. When a huge basket came out, I asked if this was the side order and the waitress quickly commented that she had put it in as a side order but that they sent a whole order. She said she would adjust it but when she brought the check she said that she took off 10%. Quickly doing the math, the basket we were charged for was $11 while the side order is $5. 10% didn't come close and we barely made a dent in the basket of delicious rings. The live music was nice but they might need to tell the entertainer that it isn't meant to be a show, just background. He doesn't need to be the center of everyone's meal. Local Flavor is a must try! You won't be disappointed.

The spinach artichoke dip was a standout, and my pan-seared salmon was flavorful with perfectly cooked, well-seasoned asparagus. My husband ordered the cold-smoked salmon Benedict, which was solid, but the breakfast potatoes were a letdown: overly fried, greasy, and rock hard.

It's like a Culv... well, there's one of those downtown... but local instead of national. By which I mean there are a bunch of these in different states, but no concentration of them. So anyway, I ordered a #9, jalapeno burger, double, with cheese curds. They had pitchers of sweet tea I watched them pour, so maybe catering to locals at each location? I sat down in their generous seating area and watched. My food took under 10 minutes to come out fresh. Curds: C*vers has the edge, but it's their specialty. Another item I appreciate having on the menu here. They offered a dip but I just popped them like candy. Burger: Very solid. The extra patty helped. Maybe I should have put the curds on the burger. Just occurred to me. Otherwise I got my veggies for the day and every bite went down smooth. Verdict: Quite a nice chain. I'm on the fence between 4 and 5 stars. I'll likely never be in another one (happened to pass another one today, actually) but judging from everyone else's reviews, 4 stars would be an insult. ;)

As I stepped in the first thing I noticed was how clean & well kept it was so it was a great start & it even got better from there. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Beef w side of Onion Rings. Both were amazing & the extra bonus was the portion sizes were quite large which is not the norm for a fast food place & all at a budget friendly price ( Sandwich, Side & a drink ) for $ 12.55. Honestly I've found my new all time favorite fast food restaurant! I highly recommend Beef A Roo!
