I've been going to Majesty's Pleasure for 5 months and I've had a great experience! Although you need to make sure you find a good person there (I love Shamyrah, Maria, Rocibel, and Kiyo). You also have to double check your bill if you're a member and make sure they are applying your membership benefits. Still 5 stars because if a mistake is made, they will correct it. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly! The teas are barista quality too. It's an overall nice and relaxing escape from the city! I always take my mom here when she visits from out of town and it's her favorite experience too. read more

One of the most efficient and relaxing experiences I've had getting my nails done. Everyone was so pleasant and happy. The bar had lovely options for anytime of the day. The best part is the dazzle dry polish. It dries in 5 minutes and looks amazing. So many great colors to choose from. I think I have found my new favorite nail salon. They use Dazzle Dry polish, which is the only brand I will use. It's been a challenge to find a good place in the city using it, but my search may now be over. Aesthetic on point, feels swanky and trendy. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly and assisted with picking out a color. Then I was brought to the pedicure stations. Seating is comfortable. They have snack and drink options, I indulged in some chocolate covered almonds. In the future there will be even more items added and more services offered. While getting a pedicure it's possible to get a manicure at the same time, which is a time saver. I only received a pedicure on this visit. Next time I may add a manicure as well, especially since they can be done at the same time. I was very happy with the pedicure service. The technician was communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. I came in yesterday morning for a gel manicure with basic nail art (that I had already pre booked online) and was one of the first people in the space for the day, which was nice. I was welcomed and given a tour of the space, and it's quite lovely (though some of the spaces are not quite operational yet, such as the bar in the front of the space). Once I sat down, I was offered a bottle of water and told that after my service, I was welcome to hang out and do work or anything else. Michelle was my nail tech and she was so lovely to work with and she was very attentive to detail. We ended up going with a glitter French and so far, I'm loving it and would definitely come back. read more

Membership based nail service that reminds me of your girl boss run establishments i.e. The Wing. Came during their grand opening where you get to tour the place, get a regular manicure, and indulge in lattes/mocktails. While the concept is nice, I'm curious if this model is sustainable-is tip factored in the overall cost? The woman getting her nails done next to me was in for a bit of jump scare as she was presented with the question of-"For tip, do you have Venmo/Zelle/etc?" I think everyone always appreciates over communication of a cost breakdown, because as I looked around I noticed some nail technicians did not pull a fast one like this (mine didn't partake either). I would imagine not everyone would like that surprise and things should be kept equal. Cute concept, but sometimes I like going to my usual coffee shop/servicing myself in the food/drinks department and going in/out to get my nails done as everyone lives equal parts busy and different lives. Update: My index finger nail polish chipped the day after even though I didn't do anything strenuous, so quality is a bit odd since this hasn't happened to me previously. read more

Honestly this place is so over rated and way too expensive. The mani is way better than the pedi. For the mani expect to be there at least 2 hours-I was so disappointed that there is virtually no massage and for the amount they are charging they should do at least a mini massage. As for the pedicure-one of the worst I have ever had. They put you on top of this bucket thing so there are no jets or anything. The bucket kept on almost tipping over so I had to balance myself in a way so it wouldn't spill. The pedicure lasted 2 days..in the winter. I've had pedicures last me months in the winter time! The highlight of Majesty's Pleasure is that it is a beauty studio that offers self care with a social aspect. Originating from Toronto, Canada this new location is breaking ground in the US. The studio offers a couple of beauty services with nails seemingly as their primary service. The nail portion of studio is divided into a waiting area, a services section, and a dry station. In the front portion there is a bar and drinks station where clients can purchase cocktails or coffees. I think another selling point for the studio is that it is located in Union Square/Flatiron. It would be a great place to meet up with friends or to do your own self care day. I could see this being a great spot for people visiting the city. I didn't know they were located here even though they'd been open since August 2024. The exterior of the studio doesn't have signage so if I hadn't seen a line of people I would have assumed I was in the wrong place. I came for a free PR event they were doing on Friday and Saturday where they were doing 500 free manicures. This event was to spread the word to anyone just discovering the studio. The prices are on the midrange end. The studio also offered a discount on a service and so I am considering returning for a gel manicure to see if the service is better since I am experiencing chipping and it's only been 3 days. read more

The space is very nice but both the manicure and pedicure were very bad. I really liked that I was able to do both at once but the bench seating setup and positioning I had to be in for this was very uncomfortable. My nails looked really bad afterwards with lots of bumps, paint on my skin and misshapen nails. I got a gel mani and it started lifting and chipping less than a week later. read more

I have been waiting for many weeks for MP to open in New York. I am excited they are here. I had a gel pedicure today and was so pleased with how it turned out. The interior of the space is beautiful, and well thought out. The music playing was the right volume and relaxing. My nail artist was Kiyo who was friendly and detail oriented. I was also assisted by Meaghan and other staff members who helped me check in and order a mocktail. Terry, the manager came over to check on my service. I am very excited for this company to grow in New York. I look forward to them launching their memberships and their full food and beverage menu in the salon. The entire experience was luxurious and relaxing. The price point is not cheap but understand, you are paying for an experience. Really damaged my nails. When I went to another nail salon to get my nails done 3 weeks later and they removed the polish, my nails were green. They said it was due to a bad nail job that let water under my nail and damaged them, and that I had to grow out my nails before getting them done again. read more

They focus on making your appointment a relaxing, catered experience, and it's a great place to come with friends and hang out. However, the actual manicure itself was subpar. The filing was not very detailed, cuticle cutting was minimal, and painting was uneven; I'm left with some bumps and bubbles. Inexperienced staff. Gel manicure came off within a week! At my usual manicure provider I can get at least 3 weeks for 1/3 of the price. The pedicure bowls are literal bowls on a plastic platform that feel very precarious. The whole time I couldn't relax because if I didn't sit upright holding the footpath with my other foot in the right position, I was worried it would tip over. I just had the worst experience at your "new" salon in Flatiron. I had a poor excuse for a "wedding edit" manicure where they didn't even have the pearls to do the manicure that WAS ADVERTISED. I didn't even get the pedicure I was going to get because I can get a better one at my salon at home. I came here for my wedding mand I'm leaving beyond disappointed. The wedding edit manicure is a complete scam that is falsely advertised. I didn't get a glass of Prosecco or extra time or attention. I also got charged 20 for a soft gel removal I NEVER EVEN GOT. The staff was really nice and friendly so give them that! I got the signature pedicure and it chipped within a week. The bench wasn't comfortable for the 50 minutes and was glad I didn't get a longer pedicure... 2 weeks later and most have chipped off; which was disappointing for how much I paid ($90 with tip). They also didn't have their liquor license yet so can't enjoy a drink unless you are there for an event and they didn't give an update as to when they'll get it. read more
