The venue is nice enough. Seats are ok. Not theatre type but temporary like in hotel conference hall. Can't complain. Sound was good. Show was delayed over an hour because of storms. The bad as in every venue. Around $20 for a beer and $27 for margarita. I'd suggest going to one of the many restaurants located right by the venue before a show. Parking is miserable at best. $37 to park in a crowded garage with spaces so close. Be prepared to wait another 30 minutes to get out of the garage. If I ever go to a show again I'll stay at the Marriott across from the venue and avoid the headaches. read more

Do NOT pay for the VIP. The VIP room is just a very small bar with small bathrooms where you pay the same $20 per beer as the concessions just inside the door. The lady running the door was incredibly slow and unorganized. The people searching bags were so slow. Even tiny clear bags were opened and poked through. The line was long and even though we only had 15 people in front of us, it took over 15 minutes to get them through the line. They open 1 hour before the show, but people in the back of the line that got there at 7, had very little time before they had to go to their seats. The only plus for the VIP was they had one stall for men and 2 for women in the bathrooms. The men's line in the concert area were very long since they do not have enough bathrooms for the number of people attending. The show was and sound was good for our concert. Just don't bother with the VIP, be prepared for very long bathroom lines (especially men). read more

1 Improve: Hire an interior designer and make modifications where VIP is not in a hidden corner of the event. Otherwise label the seats accordingly to"bar room seats"...the point is to actually see the performance. 2 Don't use the marketing term"vip" to up sell mediocre seats. My 2 cents: Alejandro Sanz's performance was great -- he delivered. The staff was courteous. But they pack so many people into foldable chairs in such a tiny venue that it's just not worth it, similar to cheap airline shenanigans. And if the artist is ultra-popular, the experience will be poor by design. The "VIP" seats were in the side rear, in an obscure ground-level angle -- behind the crowd! But because you get access to an LED-lit bar and restroom, it's somehow considered "VIP." Prior to, I received what seemed as an intentionally vague illegible map by email reading: "Row 1, Box 3." These were supposed to be VIP seats, and thought there was no way Toyota would peddle terrible seats as VIP. Wronnnggg... (Charlie Murphy voice). Hopefully, I'll redeem myself with a better Sanz experience in Andalusia next year for my girly, because this felt like such a waste of a legendary artist. read more

Overall great experience, the concert was amazing, they had employees everywhere who were happy to help people find their seats and the venue was big. Seats could have been better spaced out, I couldn't really dance like I wanted cause I was shoulder to shoulder with the person sitting next to me. Drinks were absurdly priced, water 7 dollars and the drink my sis got was $26 and $23 for refills. Other than that, Toyota Factory did what it needed to do so I'll be back. read more

I came here for yet another K-POP concert (STAYC) with Thing Two! This was my first time at this venue. When we arrived, the parking wasn't necessarily obvious where event parking was. This is because this venue's entrance is located within the confines of a mega-plex of sorts. It's surrounded by a movie theater and numerous places to eat. There are adjacent parking structures that cost $25.00 to $40.00 with varying parking limitations. Once inside the complex, it was rather easy to locate our floor seats. Why? Because this is a relatively small venue. Essentially it's floor seats and then a step up behind the floor seats, venue goers will find only few rows of seats. It should be noted that since this is a multi-purpose venue, the seats nor rows are numbered. In order to find your seat, you must count both the rows and seats across the rows to determine where your seat is located. The seats are the type one may find in a school classroom (not comfortable). While I didn't know what was being sang at this concert, (again as Thing Two is the K-POP fan), the acoustics were fantastic. Each song was crystal clear with no reverberations. In addition, the visuals behind the performers were also clear. When there, of course Thing Two had to use the lavatory. Therefore, I accompanied here to the nearest one past the seating area. The bathrooms are well lit and clean and have free feminine products. Across from the lavatories, there are food and drink counters where both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages can be purchased. Overall, this is a clean venue with accommodating staff and a simple layout. Pro tip, bring a small bag and get her early for the best parking availability. read more

Showed up for the Tye Tribbett concert and this venue did NOT come to play. They showed up and showed out. First win of the night? Parking. They've got a garage right by the venue so you're not doing that long, awkward "am I even going the right way?" walk. Price was normal for an event, nothing crazy. Check-in was smooth -- like actually smooth. Clear signs, plenty of lanes, and no slow shuffle to get inside. Security was quick, efficient, and didn't act like they were auditioning for TSA. Food and drinks were on point too. Enough options to grab something fast and get back to your seat without missing the good parts. Speaking of seats -- solid layout. Plenty of ushers who actually guide you instead of pointing into the void. And the sound system? Clean. Loud enough to feel it, clear enough to catch every note without overpowering the artist. Overall, this place understood the assignment and delivered a great night. read more

Fun fact-before Music Factory ended up in Dallas, TX, they used to be in Charlotte, NC (Thats where I live). They ended up out growing Charlotte and moved to Dallas, TX where it is now. So of course we had to come visit the one here in TX and see how it compared. Of course, everything is bigger in TX! The one in Charlotte was small and had only about 2 restaurants with 4 bars/clubs and venues. This one is much more bigger. We loved the park/court yard area they have with games and things to do a nice warm day. We went on a Friday evening and it was actually pretty chilly so we ended up going into a bar just to get out the warmth. They do have a parking garage and some side street parking where you get 2 hours free. Great variety of restaurants, dessert shops, pubs and lounges. We only stayed for a bit as we were just looking but from what I saw, I can definitely see how this would be a very lively place during the summer and nighttime. The venue itself looks fine, but it was strictly built to just make a ton of money. Parking is $30 per car, regular 16oz. beer/soft drink is $20, they push shots too for $10 each, and tips for handing you the drink! Bathrooms are so small that you have lines at least 20-30 minutes standing while missing the show you went to. If you must go to this place, have a strategy to not purchase anything there or it will cost you a fortune. read more

it was nice seeing how las colinas has changed since being gone. There was a convention or conference going on when I arrived at 5:30 on a Tuesday evening. I liked the variety of restaurants that lined the walkway. It's perfect for businesses in the area for after work and when there live music. There was a fun event going on at the Westin hotel! Parking was easy. There is parking spaces and a parking garage. I walked around the area then stopped at Thirsty Lion Gastropub for a bite. It was busy with people from the conference. I recently visited the TMF for the Davido concert on Wednesday, July 16th. I enjoyed myself immensely. The pros of the night: the staff in the VIP section were AMAZING! They were kind, efficient and effective with keeping the integrity of the area. Our waiter served our food in a timely manner. CONS: Now, the food was not good. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders with fries. Everything tasted like cardboard. There's nothing to really say about the ambiance (typical stadium). I took my daughter to the Kidz Bop concert that was held here in September. It's an indoor/outdoor venue. We parking directly across the street in the garage with was very convenient. The venue itself is nice and I believe there is no bad seating regardless of where you sit. I will say that it was really hot as the back of the venue was open. So keep that in mind when visiting during warmer months. Food and beverages were a bit overpriced compared to other music venues that I have attended. For a music venue in Texas, it's done pretty well! It's pretty hot in the summer (inside or outside), but it's typically well organized. There are plenty of drink stations to be served, a variety of drinks to choose from and the people are always very nice, informational, and quick so lines go pretty fast! I've seen several artists here and plan to continue to make TMF a choice place for concerts. Only downside, which is pretty normal, so really par for the course: the parking and drinks are EXPENSIVE! I have mixed feelings about this venue. I have had a couple of really good experiences but then when it is bad, it's real bad. I saw a smaller, more intimate Nine Inch Nails show here and had an excellent time. I saw Jack White here and they had us lock up our cell phones in these bulky packages that we had to carry around and then wait in ridiculous lines to unlock after the show. To top that off, they've gotten on board with these ridiculous bag policies where you can't actually bring in a handbag big enough to hold this pouch that is keeping your phone hostage. So you just have to carry it around. This last time, I went to the Violent Femmes concert. We were one of the first in the venue. I stopped at the bathroom and then grabbed a couple of drinks before heading to my seat. Only to be accosted by an usher demanding to see my ticket. My hands were full, also, we don't get tickets anymore! They are all digital. My friend had gotten our tickets so they were in his Ticketmaster account, and he was in our seats. I had to put our drinks on the FLOOR so I could text him to get a copy of my ticket to show the unfriendly woman who was "just doing her job". I wasn't trying to get on the floor. Or in the pit. We were in the first row of the 200 section. Once I got to my seat and sat down, I could see a bunch of other ushers not stopping people to check their tickets to make sure they were in the right section. The lawn was closed. I'm not trying to get up to the stage. If y'all wanna get that particular about it, go back to printing proper tickets. It will be in my back pocket and I will be happy to whip it out. They also make a nice souvenir. All that being said, the shows I have seen and the quality of the sound are really good. The parking is not great. And the prices inside the venue are a bit ridiculous, though you expect that. I love going to concerts and have had more trouble at this venue than I have anywhere else. I bought tickets for Sarah McLaughlin for July 3. Once I hit purchase, it dawned on me that this venue is kinda outside (the whole back of the auditorium is open). I HATE the heat, and I considered immediately selling them. Then I thought, "maybe it won't be so hot and maybe I can bring in a frozen water bottle" (you can't) - But I DID bring in two soft frozen ice packs and a personal fan/mister, and asked for 2 big glasses of ice upon entry. Turns out even though it was close to 95 degrees outside, it isn't too bad inside. They have large fans, and I suspect they still have the AC on. I won't chance it again in summer, but it was fine. Note not all concerts have the back "lawn seating" open, so if it is closed you will be fine. Note that lawn seating was only about $5, so I wish I COULD stand the heat - what a deal!! and it wasn't even very crowded. They want you to bring a small clear bag, but you don't have to, it is just easier. We did NOT order cocktails (margaritas re $25 each!). It was a little annoying that the display screens are a tiny bit off sync-wise and delayed .5 seconds. Sarah was great - we had seats in the front row of a section, so no one was in front of me. Parking is expensive, but you get a deal of about $5 off if you pay in advance. read more

Oh my god- this has to be the coolest, most relaxed concert/venue I've ever experienced. My husband and I came to see one of our favorite bands, who hasn't been in Dallas since 2006, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's. And they finally came and I was so happy they decided to come to this venue. First of all, this venue is so ample for a small venue. There were so many spots to buy food/drinks that there wasn't a line anywhere. The bathrooms were pretty decent and again- no waiting line either. The seats were so comfortable and with lots of space inside the rows and even between seat to seat. They have an open area in the upper back side which meant it was pretty open but they had fans and AC helping with the TX May weather. There was a lot of security but somehow it didn't feel like it. Again, it was the comfortable, relaxing vibe this place has. This venue is located in Las Colinas in Irving and its right in the middle of this hipster area filled with restaurants and bars. Perfect to walk around and hang out before the show. Parking was expensive but I am assuming it was because of the concert? Valet was 45$ or 50$ but self parking in one of the level up parking places was 25$. The sound was perfect, obviously the yeah yeah yeah's are amazing but we could tell the venue has great acoustics. Amazing lighting. And no matter where you were you had a great view! We were in the 300's row B and it was great. I really enjoyed this concert so much and besides me loving the band I know this place had a lot to do with my wonderful experience. Now I will be looking for bands/artist we like who decide to perform in this venue to come and see them. read more

I was honestly surprised when I saw that this venue only has 2 1/2 stars! This was my first time at the Pavilion and I was here for the Sting concert. Unlike at other venues, our driver was easily able to drop us off right at the entrance. Once you enter, it's relatively easy to find where your seats are since the venue is small and only has a few entrances by the stage area. We had floor seating and the seats had a nice cushion, which made them very comfortable. As for food, there are several concession stands that sell drinks and snacks. We shared a prickly pear margarita which was delicious! Overall, the sound and lighting during the performance was excellent. Exiting the venue did not take long at all and our ride easily found parking at the front to wait for us. Would definitely come back to see a show at the Toyota Music Factory! read more

I was on the lawn last night, everything was actually really great with the exception of seeing your security #1214 being asked by someone on the lawn to make him move disabled people on the railing and the guy (#1214) actually did it and continued to move them all night. I'm sorry, if you buy lawn seats you need to move, and I cannot believe one of your employees actually did this. Actually asked a disabled person and then several others to move. I'm disabled and I was sitting on the lawn next to a lady who was disabled. I don't have the courage to ask all the time for the help I need. So the fact that your employee did so is astonishing. I don't avoid venues as I go for the artist, but yours is for sure low on my list! read more

My partner and I saw Slightly Stoopid and the Dirty Heads perform here last weekend. We had pit access and I truly believe that is the best way to attend a concert in this venue. We had plenty of space and we were covered from the sun by the ceiling and cooled down by the fans in that area. The drinks are definitely pricey, but the overall experience that the venue provided was great. I'm definitely going to see more shows here. read more

Well. Yeah, I know, deep subject. But this place, with all of the really nice venues in the DFW area, amazes me that so many people love it. It is more compact and I think everyone is actually closer to the stage, but the seating is terrible! I can't believe I paid that much money for horrible narrow seats with narrow aisles (my knees were touching the sides of the chair in front and no way to put them directing in front)! It made me fidgety most of the show. I dub this place the Fidget Factory! (Thanks Amanda R !) The performers add to the star count, as they were 5 star! The rest of the place is like a small sport stadium and not a nice one. The restrooms are that, restrooms, nothing fancy. The snack bars are there but again, nothing fancy, nothing that makes you want to go to them. The bars along one side are kind of cool so you can go sit at the bar during a concert. There is a lawn behind the chairs but not really sure that is spectacular compared to other outdoor viewing areas with the regional venues. The police did a great job getting us out of the area and onto the streets, so I guess that is a plus. I recently turned down a chance to see another performer here. This is just not worth it to me. Invest in comfortable seats with drink holders and remove every 5th row to give some room for people to move down the aisle without having to stand up. read more

I'm a little torn about how I feel about Toyota Music Factory. This was my second time coming to this venue, the first being before the 2020 shut downs. The first concert I came to we had seats, this time around I was in the lawn. The stage itself and the seating arrangements work out really well that it feels like you don't have a bad spot regardless. Though be prepared for ants in the lawn, but I've come to expect ants regardless of the venue if I sit in the lawn. The ick factor starts off with parking in the area. There is a lot of parking that is free but timed for the restaurants in the shopping center which is understandable. During the concert I went too the further out parking garage closer to the hotel & convention center was supposed to be $20, $25 for the garage closer to the venue and 35-40 for valet. In the email I got before the event they recomended card payment or said only card payment. I had folks who park tell me they charged more than what was said in the email for using a card, and the advertised price for cash. So I was glad I ended up having a friend that lives five minutes away let me park at their place & drop me off/pick me up from a spot walking distance where they could get in/out easy. That parking price is ridiculous after being at shows earlier this year with parking for free at dos equis pavilion (Starplex), there being lots near HOB that you can get away with parking under $10, and AAC being on the public transit line. The next issue we had was the staff created chaos/confusion in the lines to go in by separating them into VIP, GA seats, pit & lawn. So it made it hard to know where to go because they were not managing the lines. The lawn line ended up looping into an area you had to climb over bars to remain in line. So a lot of people had to do the honor code to hold places in line for people in wheel chairs or couldn't duck or climb over the bars. Though lines were non-existent after a certain point to get in if you got there closer to when the bands start playing. The problem with them separating the lines out ... everyone just mixed together once you got to the door just past scanning your ticket. So there was no real point in creating the issues or dividing the lines outside. Just have 4 lines to get folks in. Prices of items inside are high, but they did have a refillable soda option that someone I knew got. I was able to bring in an unopened water bottle that I refilled so I avoided the drink high cost to stay hydrated. The merch and bar areas are in a concreate area with very little natural light coming in. With it being a concreate area heat seems to stay in the area a bit more, so it gets really hot. After this last event that I went too, I will probably avoid concerts here unless its someone really high on my bucket list. read more

Warning: upper seats are not padded, it can literally be a pain in the butt, ouch. Parking was $41 nearest to the venue if you don't get a pass in advance. I'm not sure what you pay that way. It was difficult to get out of the parking lot from the 3rd floor so go early so Hou get a lower floor. If you're willing to walk a couple blocks it's $25 at another garage same street. They had the outdoor area open this time we went. I guess the other times I was there it was winter and it was fine, but in summer with the doors open in back the sun was blaring in at 6pm and they only had 2 of 4 big fans going. It was hot until the sun went down, but remained a bit humid all night. We could feel the AC occasionally. It's probably cooler on ground level or 1st tier. This was in late May we went and it was 84 degrees that day. I won't go again during summer if the concert has lawn seating because then the big rollup doors are open, it will be too hot for us. Of course drink prices are absurd, nothing new. The venue is very clean and employees are friendly. read more

As soon as you enter it's wall to wall marketing, picture the fair midway or the streets of a border town. Pretty scummy. Open air means no ac bill for them so one hopes for nice weather. I am so surprised how much I loved this venue. I saw Chris Rock here the other night. The Music Factory feels like Starplex's older more mature sister. She is pretty. The staff here have navigating in/out of the venue down to a science. We arrived super early for dinner so we didn't have to pay the $20 to park. The area around the Music Factory is really cool. Lots of restaurants. There was a band playing in the middle grassy area so lots of outdoor seating too. Getting in the venue was easy too. The staff, once again, are on their A game. We were not allowed to have our cell phone so they locked them up in a bag that we had to tote around until we left. Inside the venue there are so many bars it would be hard not to find a drink or a snack. Pro tip - don't forget the right side of the venue - they have the same amount of bars that no one seemed to be using, Everyone was on the left side of the stage. The seats are so spaced out that you don't really need to stand up to let someone pass by you. The sound was awesome. The lawn was not open so did not get to see that, but I imagine it kicks ass too. I definitely will not snooze on seeing another show here! read more

I think as far as music venues go this is a pretty good one, if the temperature is ok. This is a late review but I saw Burna Boy here two summers ago . We sat in the covered section. It was hot, but bearable. We sat in the first row of seats behind the pit section. The view was great. Acoustics were great. Visuals were great. The food was reasonably priced. Parking was the only real hassle. It took a while to get in and out of the garage. Overall not a bad experience but I would not sit outside in the uncovered portion unless it was cooler weather. read more

I worked a concert here and Toyota Music Factory seems like a great venue for acts to do a theater show. The place is more spacious than a typical theater and there are plenty of seats (everything is truly bigger in Texas). The stage is really big and it is only one floor but there are a lot of seats available. There are also in-house restaurants and bars that serve food as well so it seems like a great place to host a concert. I never came here to attend a concert but after working one, it was definitely one that I liked better than other ones. read more
