They're a few doors down from Chick and Tea so you can get your Taiwanese bento + tea combo! TP has better tea drinks than Chick and Tea... Lines are definitely shorter than their OG location out in Cupertino. We tend to default to the Tie Guan Yin which has a nice prominent tea flavor. read more

Poor quality! Their milk tea tasted watered down and absolutely garbage! Ordered a four season osmanthus milk tea with grass jelly, the whole thing tasted bland, without any aroma of tea or osmanthus and the milk was diluted with water. Asked for "no ice" but got "less ice", turned out they really want to be CHEAP. Thinned/weakened base is like "brown is the new green." Scrimpy, stingy and stupid. Now they've lost a bunch of customers. Might as well make my own milk tea which is much better. Sigh. Do not recommend this location and won't be back. read more

I got the tie guan yin milk tea with boba with 50% sugar. The pearls were the perfect chewiness and the tea wasn't too sweet. I really enjoyed my drink, and I hope to be back to try other drinks. The only thing I noticed was that there was very limited seating so many people had to stand. I got their oolong milk tea and while the tea flavor is great, the boba is super disappointing. The boba tastes as if it was left sitting in water for hours. This TP Tea location is their 6th and newest store in the Bay Area, and they are located in the Camino Oaks Plaza. Parking may be hit or miss here, depending on when you visit, as the plaza lot gets a bit overcrowded and packed on the weekends. I had been to all 6 locations multiple times and enjoyed most of my drinks, so it is nice that they are expanding all over the Bay. I came with my mom to check out this new location - she is pretty picky with her boba, even more than I am, but we both enjoyed our drinks for the most part. I am glad I ordered ahead of time because the wait for our drinks was quite long, even after I ordered online. The app kept saying our drinks was ready, but after checking inside multiple times, it still was not ready after 20 - 30 minutes of waiting, but they are fairly new, so the employees are probably still getting the hang of making the drinks and the weekend crowd. I ordered my usual, which is their Premium Jasmine Green Tea Latte with boba, while I ordered my mom another favorite of mine - their Mango Cheese Cream Foam with boba. My drink was not as sweet at 80% sugar as usual, but I feel like they will get better and more consistent with time, since they are still new - overall, it was still a good drink. I have been to this TP tea for a few times and the previous times all had good experience. I generally liked to get the Tie Guan Yin milk tea with boba, because I love the strong tea flavor. Service was quick. However, the most recent time I went to this location, the Tie Guan Yin milk tea DID NOT have that tea flavor at all, it just tasted like a regular mediocre milk tea. The boba was alright, but I was very disappointed in the tea. So excited TP Tea is in Sunnyvale! They're in the same plaza as bb.q Chicken and 10 Butchers. The parking can be difficult because there are a lot of businesses in the plaza, so you may have to circle around or park in the back area near bb.q Chicken. They have a soft opening banner currently as they just opened yesterday. For this weekend, 11/18 - 11/19, they're offering BOGO in store only. The store itself is very small with a kiosk on one side and some seating on the other. There's also the register and pickup counter right in front. I opted to order online through SnackPass, and though the quoted time was 10-14 mins, it was ready in about 5 minutes. There were several people waiting to order and waiting for drinks, so order ahead! (This is what I do for the Cupertino location too.) The strawberry milk tea was delicious. If you've never had it, it's less like a traditional fruit milk tea and more like a blended drink. It tastes like real strawberries, and you can taste the tea still. I got 50% sugar, but I could've gone even less (I prefer less sweet than more). My only qualm was that as I was checking out on the app, they ran out of boba. No big deal, since QQ noodles are usually my go-to topping here (I just wanted to try the boba out). The QQ noodles were delicious and bouncy, just as I've had at the other location. The tie guan yin milk tea is my usual order and ultimate favorite, so I'll need to get that next time to compare. The Cupertino location often has a long wait, so I assume that'll happen soon for this location too! read more

I don't like boba (the taste or texture) in my drinks and asked for none in a drink that is "fix." It's not fair for people who DON'T like boba. I know it's not the employees fault. I will be the first to admit that I'm not very picky about my boba, but even I can tell that the tea at TP Tea is high quality. Whenever I check out a new boba place, I get the classic milk tea with boba, half sweet, as a baseline. This one passed the test! The tea flavor is strong but not overpowering, and the boba is silky and chewy. There's no seating except for a bench along one wall, so it's not a great place to hang out. Tough to order if you're lactose intolerant! Despite having an oat milk option, there is no button to press for this when ordering. You have to take a chance by putting it in the notes, and hoping that the drink isn't pre-mixed with dairy milk. This location serves watered down tea. Totally different experience than the TP Tea in Cupertino. I ordered the Black Tea Latte. It tasted so watered down. You might as well go to Tapioca Express or Verde. Black milk tea is supposed to be strong. You need to brew the tea extra strong so that when it gets mixed with milk it doesn't get watered down. TASTY AND UNIQUE are the words I use to describe TP Tea. TP just recently opened and I had to try it! I got the Taiwan Milk Tea and the Tie Guan Yin Tea with cheese foam. The Taiwan milk tea was really good as it came with many toppings of boba, qq noodles, and jelly. I liked how the tea taste was strong within the milk tea because sometimes the tea gets overshadowed by the milk, but it was nothing special. The Yin Tea with cheese foam on the other hand was SO UNIQUE and so tasty the cheese foam was insanely good! It was creamy, sweet, and salty at the same time! The tea itself was so interesting it almost tasted like black coffee and oolong tea combined! It was crazy. The portions of the drink were also large which was the cherry on top, and the vibe of the place was cute! OVERALL definitely recommend to others and GIVE TP TEA a try! read more
