Bland, bagel wasn't toasted enough, and salmon was turning. No capers. Disgusting. I ate half of it simply because I was hungry and needed sustenance. May as well have been cat food. The sunrise smoothie was equally bland. Looked nothing like the photo. My smoothie was a pale pink whereas the photo has a smoothie that looks orange like a sunrise. Overpriced garbage. I won't be back.

Same charming and spotlessly clean interior, same amazing food and wonderful friendly service. Today, we started off with a bowl of French fries as an appetizer and they were fantastic! I had macaroni and cheese (without the Cheez It topping due to an allergy to orange cheese). My husband had the chicken pad Thai and he said it was fantastic just as it always has been in the past. The server was superb. My husband asked if the Mac and cheese was white cheese and learned it was so I ordered that explaining to the server that I was really happy that it was white cheese as I have an allergy to annatto which is in orange cheese. She immediately alerted me to the fact that they top their Mac and cheese with crumbled Cheez Its and asked if I'd like her to hold those off. It was really refreshing to have a server so aware of a likely issue with an ingredient for a customer. Just fantastic personalized service. Thank you! We will be back again next year. Loved every minute of our visit.

We ordered a traditional Maine style mayo lobster roll and a buttered lobster roll for comparison. The traditional Maine style mayo lobster roll was absolutely perfect! Just enough mayo to bind the fresh, plump, tender sweet cold water lobster meat. Oh and no fillers, just lobster meat (mostly tender sweet knuckle/claw meat, mmmmm) and just the right amount of mayo. Same for buttered lobster roll, just the right amount of clarified butter as a binder. No need to overpower the fresh delicate flavor of tender cold water lobster from Maine waters. Both lobster rolls were presented on an over stuffed buttered and grilled hot dog style roll. Plated with fresh, hot ,skin on shoestring fries and some house made slaw. Delicious! Both rolls perfect! Hard to tell which one we liked better. Maybe slight advantage to the traditional mayo style, just cause thats the way we like it.
