    Roadhouse Nachos (ground beef)

Probably some of the best nachos I've ever had :) we got ground beef [$18] They packed them sooo well for to-go and were easy to pick up.

Thai chicken rice bowl, sweet potato fries and the bacon beer cheese burger

This was our first stop at Trackside and we were pleasantly surprised. We were instantly greeted with smiling faces and promptly seated. Our waitress was fast, attentive, pleasant and friendly. The food came out nice and quick and was overall very good. My wife loved the bacon and beer cheese burger that she god which was smothered in perfectly sauteed onions. I got the Thai chicken rice bowl which was accompanied by a delicious Thai peanut sauce. My only critique is that the portion of chicken was pretty small in my opinion. I would guess half a breast, but accompanied with the veggies and rice pilaf it was a good overall portion size. All around the meal was fantastic. My side of sweet potato fries was massive and they were perfectly fried, nice and crunchy, but not overdone. The bar area looked fun and the restaurant was completely kid friendly. A great spot for a weekday lunch date that we will absolutely try again!

    Cheeseburger and onion rings

I have to say, that was a really good burger and onion rings, and the service was top notch as well. They did a great job with COVID protections as well. I can't believe it was my first time there after all of these years, but the Yelp reviews convinced me to give it a go!

Hometown sports bar with excellent, attentive servers (Kelly was awesome) fresh draft beer and a nice menu for this type of restaurant. The piece of haddock on the sandwich was a healthy portion as was the piece of broiled haddock. When the restaurants in the downtown area are closed just walk a few blocks and enjoy its friendly atmosphere.

Top notch food. The ahí tuna was cooked perfectly, good sear on the exterior, medium rare interior…read more Tender and full of flavor. The Greek gryo had a wonderful tzatziki sauce, fresh veggies, juicy chicken with a great sear. The haddock fish had a light, airy, and crispy batter. It was tender, and had a great flavor when paired with the tartar sauce. The kid's Mac and cheese was also fantastic. Most restaurants sell you kraft Mac and cheese, not here. The Mac and cheese was made with cork-screw pasta, a thick, creamy, cheese sauce, topped with a crust of additional cheese and bread crumbs. The food also had very nice plating considering the price point. Each meal was presented in a way that showed thought, and craftsmanship. Overall, this restaurant had the most memorable food of my trip to Maine.

We had intended to eat at a different restaurant, however, said restaurant was full, and this was a back up. When we called they said we're empty so we said fine we are on our way. We arrived and the interior was interesting, not bad just interesting and we thought OK we'll just get a quick meal nothing right home about. It'll be fine. However. Fine is not enough to describe it. Don't walk, RUN to order the broiled haddock plaki. What an AMAZING surprise. Flavorful haddock with feta tomato and lemon on top, perfectly sautéed zucchini and yellow squash, and a rice and tomato combo that was absolutely shovel in mouth inducing. Other dishes that were described as out of this world included the atuffed haddock, fried clams, chicken tenders, and don't get me started on the FRITES!! Paired with a can sauvignon that was an excellent selection by the bar team, I was in heaven and had to be rolled away from the table. Absolute perfection in every bite!!

We settled on Waterworks and it was great! Despite our walking we weren't overly hungry and so decided to split a turkey club (another benefit of splitting it was that we could have onion rings!). The staff couldn't have been nicer - and although it was a bit slow, when the sandwich arrived it was perfect - yummy real turkey on sourdough with a nice lettuce and tomato, crispy bacon and just the right amount of mayo. We opted for onion rings - and they are the good kind - thin, crispy, not frozen. It was all totally delicious.

I asked what one of the beers was in the menu and she didn't even know what I was asking. Took forever to get food and it wasn't busy. She brought out 3 of the meals and then we finally got the other two meals 15 minutes later. She didn't ask if we needed refills on our empty drinks the entire time. She never brought the chowder I ordered. Never asked if the food was ok or if we needed anything else. Then waited forever to get our bill. I will say most of the food was ok. The broiled scallops were terrible but everything else was decent. And the outdoor patio area was really nice. I'm not from Maine so I won't be back but if I was from Maine, I'd make a point to never go back.

This one is located in downtown Camden and offers some outdoor patio seating with great views. Sea Dog Brewing is by no means in talks of outstanding beers or brewery considering the far superior competition the state of Maine has. Even their most popular blueberry beer tastes much more artificial than you would hope. Sea Dog has been a brewery for a long while but I don't think they have kept up with the quality of craft beer you can find now. Now despite that negative talk overall about their beers I do believe most of the locations do offer quality pub food. You will find a variety of options including sandwiches/burgers, salads, pasta, soups, and more. It's a spot that everyone in your party including picky eaters will find something they want. It does have a lot of space available for dining. Service wise during our visit was alright. Ordering took awhile and time of seeing our server from one time to next took a little while. Food wise I went with Sesame Chicken Bowl and my wife got the Sautéed Lemony Chicken Piccata. Food was alright, my wife's chicken was quite dry. Overall I think it's an alright spot to grab a bite to eat when in Camden. You can likely find better spots but like I mentioned they do offer quite a variety here so give it a shot.
