So off to Yelp I go to find a place nearby and that's well reviewed. And I landed here. I ended up here a few hours before closing and they said that it would be about an hour! Whoa!! I was not expecting service THAT fast! I was expecting days not hours. And the price was less than me buying what I needed on that big online retailer. And they filled the tires and made it like new. I thought this was great value and service. I'll actually be back VERY soon because we have my daughter's bike that now has a flat!

What I found on my receipt is something I've never seen on any other bike shop receipts nor was I told it was going to be on there. I was told the labor cost, the price of the new wheel, and rim tape. I have never heard of "non-inventory costs". It was explained as "talc for the rim, use of rags, and other non inventory items" -at least that's what I thought I heard when I asked what it was. That's a lot of powder and rags. Maybe it includes pumping my tire up? Which other bike shops do this?
