Unfortunately today we came in 10 minutes before closing time to browse as I had a bridal shower coming up this weekend. The sales associate with gray hair proceeds to tell me "you got five minutes" in this kind of annoyed flat tone. I had some things in my hand to try on, but as I hurried into the dressing room, all desire to actually purchase anything flew right out the window. I understand that at the end of the day you wanna go home after work, but the store was not closed yet, and the experience left a sour taste in my mouth.

They also had these adorable wine charms which I love and still have. They were so kind! I was blown away by the pastel and beach vibes! I purchased the most fluffy jacket! Last summer I was in Portland and found a few stores like this, however, the merchants appeared to be outside of their minds as they were all charging $20 for $5 worth of merchandise. Sometimes it's clear what you are selling isn't rare, isn't collectable and you just bought it at Goodwill or a garage sale in hopes of tripling your money. Most of what I saw here was priced accordingly. There was an item or two that had a vintage look that wasn't vintage which could have been less, but no matter where you go, someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes. This place is entirely out of the way, but I did discover a great taco spot across the street, so when the weather changes, it's possible I'll make a day out of hiking, shopping and tacos. Kudos to this shop owner. It's easy for a place like this to charge lunatic prices and offend shoppers, but the reasonable nature of this store is clearly the key to its high ratings and strong business flow.

I walk in, look around at the crystals, vintage and quirky stuff then hang out outside. For my wife? Total must-stop and browse around. She's all about the Texas cowgirl vibe they have going on. They carry some cowgirl-PJs and little decor pieces that she loves browsing through. The owner makes some of the clothing herself (so it's not your typical mass-produced junk. Eclectic girl stuff.
