This is located in the same garage as Home Goods, super convenient because I shop there too. The pre-made to go packaged food are too healthy for my taste, but healthy isn't a bad thing. The Greek yogurt guacamole is the shit, best guacamole there is. Make sure you finish that in time or it'll turn brown. A lot of moms in Lulu Lemons come here to grocery shop. Love this place! So glad it opened, as this is the closest Trader Joe's to Downtown Bellevue and the store is always clean, well-stocked and staff is the friendliest. Whenever I am in search of a particular item that only TJ's carries the staff always seems to know where exactly it is, if it's in stock/sold-out and also recommends recipes for it. What's really cool is that the staff seems to enjoy their products and most of them have even tried most of the items. Every time I check out the cashier is always raving about certain items I'm getting, as they too, are fans and will recommend different recipes or similar items. Happens every time I'm here and I have to say, that's quite something about a place. There's a lot of pride among the staff and it's obvious. This store is the newest in Bellevue, so is very organized and clean. I also like that this location is in its own shopping centre with REI and Home Goods, as parking is never an issue. They even provide front spots for fuel-efficient cars. And can we just rave about the several different TJ items that is the best deal in all the land? Cauliflower rice, Thai Green Curry, Mediterranean Hummus, Quest Bars...I can't live without these items from TJ's and it's always the best deal around. Thank you, TJ's! read more

Nice, small Trader Joe's in the new complex with REI Co-Op and Home Goods. Attending opening day and for a free bag when With my purchase. Staff but nice but were a bit slow and not very efficient especially checking out. Took 15 mins in a short line and 5+ minutes checking out since the cashier was deathly slow and kept on repacking my groceries. She was sweet and tried making small talk and readily tried to be friendly. This location is convenient to Downtown Bellevue but I anticipate parking and getting in/out will be a nightmare! read more

This Trader Joe's isn't too bad. Seems smaller than most but I could be wrong. It's clean and has most things you would need. Specialty isn't really Trader Joe's thing but staples and the price is always good. I can buy smoked organic chicken for $2.99 here vs $8.99 at whole pay check for example. I live nearby this location and I visit at least a couple times a month. I WFH so it's usually midday on a weekday when I visit choose, and there's plenty of parking available. It's not tiny, but a seems a little smaller than average. It feels like everything is kinda packed in there and close together. I wouldn't want to come on a weekend for that reason. It's always been clean when I visited. Not many associates on the floor, but genuinely very friendly and helpful. The cashiers seem happy to be there and conversational. read more

I'm so happy to have a Trader Joe's closer to downtown Bellevue. Store itself is well stocked and very clean. I have to ding them a star however for the parking situation. The lot is mess and people are often circling looking for spots that just aren't there. I love the selection they have of organic wines. Organic Red Table Wine and White Table Wine have been my go tos. The following experience is regarding my check out process at Till #6 on 2/27/21 at approx 5:15pm at Bellevue TJ on 116th Ave. The following experience is regarding my experience with a staff member, who I did not catch the name of, for simplicity's sake will be referred to as "X" in this recount. I had a moderate amount of unopened returns to process. "X" aided in this transaction and I had a very unprofessional and unpleasant exchange with this individual. She (a white female) proceeded to inquire why I had such an amount of returns to process, I replied that I did not want the items anymore. Approximately 5 minutes later, she proceeded to ask me the same question again, to which I replied similarly. There is no need for this employer to question me twice, if my answer was not satisfactory, she should specify and be more direct. My assumption is this employee fabricated a narrative that I must have stolen these items. The optics of this situation obviously was poor as I am a minority female. I can also attest that fellow customers waiting for the same check out till looked on in horror at this incident. In addition to questioning me twice, employee "X" also proceeded to comment loudly that this was "a very large amount of returns." I am tired of explaining myself in situations as these, where the trajectory would be very different for a White female, but if you really must know - the returned groceries were purchased for an immunocompromised individual unable to leave their residence for grocery shopping, and did not want some of the food items I selected for her. To say this experience was mortifying and dehumanizing is an understatement. It is disappointing employee "X", who is supposed to represent a forward thinking company, was so archaic in her actions. read more

This Trader Joe's is pretty much like all the others. The problem is the parking lot. Super small spaces and next to Nordstrom Rack. And...with more stores to come. I unfortunately scraped a car this afternoon trying to get my car into a spot. I can't imagine this plaza fixing it, but be forewarned. Disabled lives Do Not Matter here! I was pulled out of the store by a self righteous employee who tried to force me to give up my cart I was using for walking assistance. She said you'll have to step over here and give me your cart. She insisted I had to have a cart that labeled me "Disabled". I told her No, that was embarrassing. She continued to follow me and berate me saying everyone was already singling me out because of my full face shield and she was doing me a favor. I told her to stop, literally as an ADA requirement as she was over whelming my brain causing stress induced swelling which makes walking even more impossible. I finally yelled my son's name who was waiting in the lot for me to call, and she laughed at me as though I was retarded. I do have a brain injury and any decrease in oxygen is life threatening. My inability to walk without a cart is already embarrassing. This employee DID NOT MAINTAIN A 6 foot distance or respect COVID SOCIAL DISTANCING . I could not get away from her without assistance. Her berating and not ceasing talking at me when repeatedly asked, crashed my brain. Finally I realized to use my cell. QFC and Safeway have been overly kind to me and not embarrassing me because of my disability. read more

The cupboards were bare. I was worried about the virus but I had no choice. Trader Joe's on 24th and 156th in Bellevue WA was my best option. I lined up a few minutes before nine. A crew member came out and announced for the first hour priority would be given to Seniors. Only so many were allowed in at a time. The shelves were well and fully stocked. The crew gracious, but always maintained a safe distance. What I had feared would be risky adventure turned out to be a very pleasant shopping experience. read more

This particular Trader Joe's location is very dysfunctional and does not operate smoothly whatsoever. They still get 3 stars simply because they are Trader Joe's....with the best prices for quality natural organic selections....however, the lines here are always exceptionally long, the employees crowd through aisles with large boxes....pushing crates and hand trucks swiftly down aisles narrowly missing shoppers as they go about stocking shelves....Doesn't really seem safe to me....They also tend to run out of things more quickly than the other TJ locations around.... read more

Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store. I like this location because of the covered parking and it's close to REI and Home Goods. Great cheese selection at a low price. The staff is friendly and helpful. The floral section is amazing. Beautiful, quality flowers at a very low price. The freshly prepared section has a lot to offer: Wraps, salads, and soup terrific, easy lunch. The meat section offers a fantastic New Zealand rack of lamb. The staff here are always cheerful and welcoming, which is a big plus. I love Trader Joe's in general. However this rating is especially for the florist. I ordered 20 orchids for a special event and they were the MOST beautiful double stem orchids which were talk of the party. She called me 2 weeks ahead of the event to reconfirm the order and they were nicely boxed right on Time day of the pick up. It's almost a month later and they are still as beautiful as day one and even the buds flowered instead of falling off as with other places. Kudos read more

Beware false packaging of TJ products. Coconut pancake mix. Just opened box and there is 2-3 inches of space from top of box down to the bag. Settling? Nope bag is snug and full. Deceptive packaging? Yep...not to mention excessive cardboard for too big box. read more
