Slowly through the years, our favorite things have been discontinued, so we only buy a third of what we used to purchase. Their non gmo policy is BS. (If they even state that any more) I hate the fact that none of the eggs they sell are humane. Really? They should all be humane. I've been to a number of Trader Joe's. I don't know if it depends on the location, but whenever I go to a Trader Joe's, there are always new items on the shelf. That's what I really like about this grocery store. That's what makes the trip here worth it. The shelves are constantly being filed with new items, and all look to be worth trying at least once. The staff are also friendly and quite knowledgable of the products. It is easy to spend a lot here, however. I do take caution when filling up my cart. One to many times have I just kept filling up my cart, and then, I'm surprised by the total amount. read more

It's safe to say that most folks are familiar with Trader Joe's so there really isn't much to say about what they have. Everyone here is always so helpful and nice and pleasant. it's so refreshing to visit a different TJ's every now and then. This store was super clean, in fact I think the floors were sparkling when I walked in. For a second there I thought the super hot sun temporarily blinded me right before I walked into the place, but no this place was beautiful. Wider aisles so you can casually move to the right side without making quick maneuvers to grab that bag of Thai Chile Lime Cashews you absolutely need. Also the store was nicely stocked and I found everything I on my shopping list. The staff here was super sweet too, in fact everyone had a smile on their face. I think I need to visit this Burbank location more often. I should mention the bonus factor, parking is lovely. Nice wide stalls and it's connected to a Walgreen's so the parking lot is big, love that! read more

I think this Trader Joe's is a bit smaller and less organized than most TJ's that I've been to, however, it still seems to have everything I want. The only other downside is the parking. There's VERY limited paring and a couple of times I've found myself having to circle the block to find a spot. Other than that the employees are friendly and helpful and they have the TJ faves and raves. read more

This is the nearest TJs from my office - so naturally, I'm here mid-day on a weekday. That means no crazy crowds despite it's average (meaning small) size! The parking lot, however, is kind of a pain since it's being shared with Walgreens too. I've never had issues with this location running out of things I need and I always seem to discover great new items here as well. read more

Every Trader Joe's offers pretty much same deals and products at each location. We all know that they always have good products no matter where you go. It is a bit of crazy at this particular parking lot. Parking is definitely not enough due to both Trader Joe's and Walgreens are sharing the same parking lot. Yes this Trader Joe's is crowded and for a good reason: it's great! They share a parking lot with CVS, and i always park closer to the drug store and walk the 30 feet or so more over to the Trader Joe's. All TJ'S are packed and cramped, but this one is a bit bigger than most i've been in. There are A LOT of people at rush times, but for a small market by a major freeway it's to be expected. Their fruit is fresh and never rotting on the shelves. They have a huge array of frozen items and gourmet foods for the non-gourment budget. There's a pretty good selection of cheese and well packaged meats. Sometimes they run out of my favorites: veggie chips and balsamic or goddess dressing, but will remember you when you ask for them! My only qualm with TJ's is that they don't have enough real veggie/vegan items. Yeah, there's soy meat, like 3 things. Yeah there's sliced soy cheese alternative in 1 flavor (not vegan). And yes, there's vegan chocolate soy mini ice cream sammiches... TJ's is not touted as a health food store, more specialty gourmet, but regardless... i'll be a customer for life. read more

Ok so point blank: I would starve if it weren't for Trader Joe's. Living in a two-person household makes cooking a pain in the hoo-ha. Not only is having to do the dishes not worth it, but buying groceries sucks too because I frankly just can't eat everything I buy before it goes bad (it would probably help if I didn't go food shopping on an empty stomach so often, but that's beside the point). That being said, I'm a huge fan of the pre-made meals in their refrigerated section. Things that top my list in terms of calorie content (~300) and flavor: Mexicali salad, Country Italian Salad, Reduced Fat Chinese Chicken Salad, 5 Spice Chicken Noodle Salad, Chicken and Wild Rice Sidebar: When I do buy groceries, I tend to fare better with Ralph's across the street since you can get a larger variety of loose veggies, unlike at TJ's where most of it comes pre-packaged. I also always keep a few of the lower calorie frozen food items in my freezer for when I'm in a pinch. Things I really like: Chicken Tikka Masala (Paneer isn't bad either), Reduced Guilt Mac and Cheese, Reduced Guilt Baked Ziti. Things I hate with a burning passion: Reduced Guilt Filet of Sole, TJ's Fusilli with Vegetables and Basil Pesto. One warning for this particular store: there is a tall, stocky, dirty-blonde-wavy-haired employee who often works the food sample station but can sometimes be spotted as a cashier that is the GRUMPIEST Trader Joe's employee I've ever seen in action. In every TJ's I've been to, all the workers are extremely nice, friendly, and helpful, but this guy is just something else! Once, I was in his checkout line behind a woman with her toddler son sitting in the cart seat. He was messing with his cereal box (he was on the cusp of opening it from both ends) and the guy starts admonishing him (NOT jokingly) about why he shouldn't do that and how it's going to make a big mess.. But seriously? The kid was like 4, he didn't know any better. It actually made me so uncomfortable that I even got out of his line even though I was next and waited in line for a different cashier. Anyway, just avoid this guy and it should be smooth sailing. read more

Trader joe's is a place where you go in planning on buying bananas but you end up leaving with everything else including nuts, dried fruit, cheese, fruits, veggies and some flowers. Along with the box of little chocolates or biscuits you swore you wouldn't buy. Staff are very friendly and store is clean and welcoming. read more

This is my preferable place to grocery shop. they dont have quite the selection of the large chain stores but they also don't have the higher prices those store have. there is a nice selection of organic foods, both fresh and packaged and their seasonal coffees (like pumpkin spice and gingerbread) are super tasty and items I look forward to every year. The biggest challenge is usually the parking lot, but I discovered and happen to have the ability to go right when they open which alleviates that. #Burbank #traderjoes read more

You can always trust Trader Joe's for quality food, with friendly staff. 99% of their items are private label and with that comes liability. This separates this store from the rest in a sense that because their name is on the item they make sure to provide the customer the very best. Gaining the trust between a customer and a market is a keen aspect of a successful business, which I believe TJ's as mastered that. read more

It truly feels like home(except a lot more crowded!) before and as soon as you enter the store, you'll see fresh flowers everywhere and I am in lovvve with flowers. I love this Trader Joe's, and even though I moved and it isn't in my immediate neighborhood anymore, I make the drive because I prefer it to the Toluca Lake location (ugggh too crowded). The staff is what makes this place so wonderful. They remember me and my kids and always make sure to say hello and make genuine conversation. If you can't find something, a staff member will promptly check in the back for you. I think the employees are happy there and that's what makes the energy at the store so positive. So the only downside for this location would probably be its parking, and the fact that this place is packed about 80% of the time. I love trader Joes and have been shopping here for years. The food options are great, and there's honestly something for everyone. I love that they have a variety in the sample counter because I tend to stop in 2x or more a week so to see there's something different to test out is great. The employees are great here too, and are willing to bend over backwards to help you find what you need. A gem about this place, when buying dairy the expiration dates tend to be slightly longer than other locations around! Love Trader Joe's. Great prices, neat selection of different types of foods and free samples of their unique products often have me trying out new items. I only gave it 3 stars because The produce is limited as the section is small and the parking lot is too small for the store. Parking is hard to come by and the parking lot is a mad mess with drivers having difficulty navigating the situation. I frequent the store because it's walking distance. This Trader Joe's is the best. If you hate it that's because of you, not them. The best is the evening shift employees who are friendly and funny. I could see how sticks-in-the-mud might not always jive with their humor, but when you spend your day grinding your teeth because your stuck in traffic between a job you hate and a family you despise I could see how you might not always be in the best mood. read more
