We have a bunch of TJs items we purchase on a regular basis. The Guilt-Free Brownie mix (just add yogurt!) is really good. We get the frozen onions & peppers for pizzas. Powerberries. Yum. BBQ pulled chicken for sandwiches. Plus a few others. The 2 buck chuck wine is pretty decent. Recently, the service seems to be going down hill. Yesterday I went in and they had done a complete floor reset. I could not find anything! I was not alone, there were a lot of people wandering around like zombies. They actually moved the freezer cases, aisles and everything. They apparently don't carry the sea-salt type of almond butter anymore. The only real difference I could see was a HUGE display of gourds up front. I was frustrated and got tired of looking for my usual items. When I got to the cashier, I asked why they did it, and he said "to increase sales". That was it. I told him, "well, I DEcreased my sales today. I was frustrated wandering around trying to find things." He didn't really seem to care. Ah, well. The Ventura store's employees are much nicer & actually seem to love their jobs. read more

Lots of liquor, much more than i can use! Actually I just skip the liquor section all together at TJ's I would like it if they had a bigger fruit and veggie section, it does seem rinky dinky small sometimes. The fresh flower section is stellar. They always have great prices on really nice orchids and good selections of in season flowers and bouquets. popping in to TJ's for some flowers is definitely a treat! Carrot cake cupcakes are insanely tatsty!!! with tangy creamcheese frosting Brown rice pasta is so good, I can't event tell the difference between regular pasta and this! They do seem to discontinue items frequently though which lost them a star. Seems like i find something I love they discontinue it. They used to have a lunch plate with falafel and grilled root veggies - it was yummy! read more

Just moved to the area and Trader Joe's has been my grocery store of choice in Seattle, WA, Annapolis, MD, Riverside, CA and Chico, CA. My first two visits here were great. Friendly and helpful staff as well as easy to shop. My more recent three visits were very disappointing. I searched for available staff for help. I felt invisible as staff wandered by without acknowledging shoppers ~ a completely different atmosphere. I will try another location read more

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this Trader Joe's for the past 5 years and Gideon has really taken his time to get to know us and show us he cares. Every time we come into the store and he is there he always greets us, asks us how we are are doing, recommends products & helps us in any way possible with a huge smile on his face. how lucky am i to live 5 minutes from the best TJ's! The staff is always friendly, they're always well stocked, and they've done an amazing job following the COVID guidelines, making it feel so safe to shop there regardless of the virus. don't be turned off by the line that sometimes forms during their peak hours, it always goes by fast and they offer refreshments while waiting. i've never had to wait more than 10 minutes even when the line looked really daunting. love this trader joe's so much! read more

For the most part everytime I come here the employees seem eager to help, which makes me wonder if their just extremly happy and helpful or if their worried that im going to steal haha, I've only been here a few times because this store is on the expensive side but they do have adorable cards, and unique things that may be hard to find elsewhere. I also enjoy their body butter, keeps my feet nice and soft! I also love their butter lettuce. A gentleman by the name of Bryce cashed me out today, very friendly and beautiful eyes! Every time I am here I am greeted by friendly staff and asked if I need assistance finding anything. Last time I was there I was looking for the chocolate chip meringue cookies, but they only had the vanilla ones in stock. I asked someone if they could help me find any, and they informed me tha they were out. Another employee over-heard me talking about how much I liked the choclate chip ones, so he approached me with a different chcolate chip cookie product as a recommendation. It was above an beyond what I would ever expect from grocery store service. I absolutely LOVE the lemon chicken prepared salad. Super low prices for healthy and holistic food. The store is near my occupation and makes a great pit stop for a healthy lunch. Most of the staff are the best and I could not hope for more, but the reason this store will not get its fifth star from me is that there are a few employees that are less than friendly. Lunches are less than 20 bucks, but it adds up and I expect respect and professionalism from every employee for my hard earned money. Other than that, this is a really great store with amazing selection. Its always clean, and I sometimes feel bad coming in dirty from work, but if I have to choose between Trader Joe's and fast food, Trader Joe's will win every time. read more

Besides products always being recalled, nothing ever seems to be in stock. When I try to ask one of the employees about it, I get an no answer but an attitude. The manager (s) that hang out behind the wooden desk are no help either. The cashiers have a habit of talking bad about they're customers (I've witness this on several occasions). The foods are a good value when in stock but be careful because some are expired or lettuce (salad packs) can be wilted. Flowers are a great deal. Overall this store has gone and keeps going downhill. read more

I love this trader joe's! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The store is always very clean and organized with plenty of product stocked. I always find something i love from the daily samples and the prices are wonderful! The parking can be challenging but easier than any other trader joe's i have been to. The location is great because it is close to so many other stores i visit regularly and has a mix of small and large businesses to shop at. It is also right off the 101 freeway so it is a quick visit every time. read more

Trader Joe's rules! I shop here almost exclusively for my family of 6. There is ample parking, which is always helpful. The employees are awesome. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is just a different vibe than going to a typical big box grocery store. I love all of the organic options. The gluten-free options are always adding new products as well. I go here at least twice a week. I only wish all Trader Joe's would add a gift section of interesting objects from the far-flung places they procure their grocery items. Employees are racists. They offer lollipops and their boring stickers a lot more to white kids than to non white kids. I've used the store for 7 years since my kids were little. They would flirt and hand out a lollipop with all kinds of fuss to a white kid at my daughter's age, but a lot of times they would let my daughter pass the cashier even without recognizing her. That happened today again. It's subtle but bothersome. Honestly hurting...That is not a coincidence when I have noticed this practice for almost 10 years. They have a decent selection of affordable and tasty snack foods. Their dried seaweed, in particular, is very addicting. The chips I purchase are baked and of good quality. Employees are friendly, and are wonderfully visible, asking if they can be of help. I like going here because I know that I can get in and out quickly, and the staff actually acts like they are glad to see me. I get a kick out of their recipe ideas when they see my purchases :-). The one annoyance for me is the solicitors outside the front door. I understand that the sidewalk is public, but I wish they would stack more items outside so there would be less room for the special interest groups or the not-so-special groups. First, let me say that I love Trader Joes. I have worked for their company and shopped at their stores for over 10 years. This location, however, is lacking. It's located in a busy strip mall, which makes parking really difficult (not atypical for a TJ's) and their cart return is completely out of the way, even though it looks like it's convenient..I pride myself on always returning my cart, but in order to return your cart (I have young children) I have to walk around multiple rows of cars, so my own vehicle is not in eyesight -- even though it's relatively close. If you don't have little ones in the car, I don't see why returning your cart would be an issue.. Also, on my most recent visit I had both of my little ones with me and a cart full of groceries but no one offered to help me to my car, which is standard Trader Joes customer service..and since you have to cross a busy driveway to get to the parking lot, it felt unsafe. Otherwise, the staff is really nice and talkative. They are friendly and always talk to my kids and make me feel like I'm in a neighborhood grocery store. I love their wide aisles, which you seldom see in a TJ's. If they were able to move to a new location, it would easily be a 5 star store! read more
