Complete disappointed today. I went to shop as I'm used to do weekly, and suddenly electricity gone. They stopped us, requested to move to the front and then leave from the store for security purposes. Cash registers were open for current customers and rejected new ones. I asked to many employees there if they have power generator and they did not give me clear answer. It seems they have very small capacity. But later we have been requested to leave the store. During Sandy, they were closed long time and it seems they did not get any lesson. Still no generator support. Disappointed, 7 years loyal customer. read more

sorry i do not recommend this trader joe , i used to shop there all the time but since they allow dogs , all breeds , dogs lick your food , no one bothers to say anything . i do not know what kind of germs i am taking home with me , dogs do not belong in supermarkets unless they are service dogs , and they do not belong in restaurant . there is a health code violation here . i do not feel comfortable when dogs lick my food , manager does not bother or say anything , so i stopped going there . i go elsewere . to do my food shopping . read more

Very disappointing. Fruit and veggies always seem to have seen better days. Not the best place for healthy selections (be serious here, you have to read the labels). You'll be happy here though, if you like waiting to pay for your purchases. read more

My family really loves the maple syrup from here. We use it everyday at breakfast and occasionally (okay quiet often) for dinner when we have breakfast for dinner. We also get the apple cider from here during the fall and it is absolutely delicious. It is always clean and organized at this location which I love and i really like taking the drive to Edgewater to enjoy the view of the city after a day of shopping. read more

Love trader joes! I eat mostly kosher items and was able to find a lot of vegan and kosher choices for my diet! Staff seemed real nice too.

I do shop there once in a while although it is not too far from where I live, its not really on our regular routes so going there is always a activity by itself.As we headed back home from a month long vacation from Dubai, India and Hong Kong we had to pick up basics first thing.Hubby and Daughter waited in the taxi while I promised it would be less than 5 minutes since it was only Bread, Milk and Eggs on the shopping list.A minute each for the three aisles and 2 minutes to check out.I walked out 25 minutes later with a shopping cart overflowing with fruits,vegetables, snacks,cereals,juices,nuts, etc.This place is heaven.Its so neatly organized with not too overwhelming varieties of each kind that it doesnt take more than 2 seconds to make your pick.,Unlike your typical grocery stores, where there are atleast a dozen varieties of jams, and maybe another half a dozen of butter.Trader Joes has at the most 2-3 varieties.And their own brand is what I usually go in for.That makes it super easy.Their staff is so nice and they really love what they do.My husband and ofcourse the driver didnt seem too pleased that I didnt keep my promise of returning back in 5 minutes but hey I dont have to worry about running to another grocery store for a good week..Yaaaaaaawn..cant wait to hit the bed.. read more

Thank you Trader Joes's for being the best natural food store in the area. The staff offers excellent customer service, the food selection is excellent and you can't beat the prices. As a vegan I have a outstanding variety of good options. The food is fresh and organic and the frozen options are all natural and the selection is endless. There is so much to choose from and I feel like I really get my money's worth on organic food. The produce is excellent and basically my husband and I are customers for life. Highly recommend this store and if you are looking for quality in more personalized store with family values. Some other organic food stores in the area are overpriced and the food is not always top quality. read more

Trader Joe's is the mecca of all market places. This location is great; it's small in size with a large selection of stuff. The Trader Joe's brand Soy Chorizo is a MUST for all you vegetarians and vegans out there! At $1.99 who could go wrong? I also love how they are always giving out free samples of something in the back. The prices for most items are fantastic. I am always amazed with just how much I am actually saving when I shop here instead of Whole Foods. If you haven't shopped at a Trader Joe's yet come to this location. I love Trader Joe's!! And the fact that there is one near where I live, is a blessing. I shop herefor my basic grocery requirements. I also feel that the prices have become more competitive. It used to be a tad bit expensive but now it doesn't pinch that much. Everything from the fresh food to the frozen section to their baked goods, every thing is great. The staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to make sure that you find what you are looking for. My favorites are: the mushroom truffle flatbreads in the frozen section and their tuscan pane breads in the bread section. Their cheese selection is huge and i always try and pick up something new everytime. I have started picking up bottled water from here as well. Its basically now my one stop shop for all groceries. Another cool thing that TJ's does is they sample new products in the store. There have been innumerable times, I have picked up the product after sampling it first. The only reason I stopped short of giving it a 5-star is because invariably i go later on in the evening, a lot of the stuff is sold out and if you go during the weekends during the day, its just really crowded. But other than that, Trader Joe's esp this particular location is great. read more

"Once you go Trader Joes you dont go back" I don't shop anywhere else for groceries. It does get very crowded and busy on weekends, if you're like most people you'll try to get all your shopping in on sunday afternoon; i advise against it, because you'll get lost among sea of shopping carts, biodegradable shopping bags, baby strollers etc. read more

I really like this Trader Joes because they recently rearranged the store and everything is very neat and organized! Although it's smaller than some other locations, the store has a good assortment of products so you can probably find what you need here. Prices are cheaper than other grocery stores, and the quality of their products are very good. Also, the staff and cashiers are always very friendly and happy to help. However, I wouldn't recommend coming here on weekends if it can be avoided because it gets extremely crowded inside (but at least the plaza parking lot is very big). read more

I love this place. selection and inventory are generally great. just wish it was a little closer so I could go more often! I am originally from California and, honestly, I don't know why people here on the east coast bother going to shop rite, pathmark or a&p. the produce and even packaged items are so incredibly overpriced. and I've found this more so in lower income neighborhoods. people should just make the trek to their nearest trader joe's!!! read more

I love the healthy choices at Trader Joe's, I am a healthy food freak. I try to eat organic as much as possible. During the week TJ's ready foods from the freezer feed me. Comparing the prices with whole foods this is place is very reasonable. The night time is better because less crowd and after shopping I go to have my dinner at Mavi which is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant which is at the same strip. read more

Ok I'm new to this, but I feel this had to done! I went in there with my lover, looking for box soup. The butternut squash I was told, was out of this world! So we asked for help, and I'm guessing he was a manager, cause he was dressed deferent then everyone else,those Hawaiian shirts I figure are for the managers, Im pretty sure his name was Ryan, but he saw that was gay and instantly gave me a bad look. Then I purposely went up to him and asked him where to find the soup I was looking for, and he gave me the only attitude and told me it was just over there! No help what so ever! I guess the fact that he was writing something important was more valuable then me! Or it was that he saw the lifestyle I live and didn't want to help! But I will never shop there again! I can't believe how I was treated! I am about to write to the fair trade commission on how I was handled as a customer! read more
