Well, I have to say that the new location has a lot more parking. However, on the night I went, none of the lights in the parking lot were on so it was kind of dangerous with all the old people walking and driving around. I almost got hit while making my way into the store. The store itself is awesome. Clean, bigger and the entrance isn't wacky like the old location. They gave out free reusable bags during the first month - not that I needed another, but it was appreciated. I also like that a new Walgreens popped up next door. Now instead of driving 2 miles to the Burbank TJ's/Walgreens combo, I only have to drive 1.5 miles to the Glendale combo. Score! read more

New location. It's new clean and most of you know trader joes. Always busy but then again it is my favorite grocery market. So I will always stop by here for my goodies. I like the frozen section and the cheese section. And don't forget the dark chocolates. No wonder I can't keep up my weight hehe.. read more

I used to shop Trader Joe's exclusively. No more. In the past several months, the staff acts very rude to many of the customers. I don't know if it's because they are "instructed" to keep the customers "in line" or what their problem is. It just makes for a very disturbing experience. I don't want much. I just want to be able to go to the store and buy groceries with no drama. I frequently see customers getting upset after being accosted by a cashier or other worker. I haven't had this experience at any other store. As much as I used to enjoy shopping here, I won't be back. It's not worth it. read more

The best neighborhood grocery store! Love the fact that this store moved to this location. It's so easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The store is always clean everytime I go inside. The workers are very helpful with your questions and don't mind locating items for you. The prices are pretty fair and the quality of the food is exceptional. There are plenty of organic and gluten free options for those food conscious types. The lines are usually not that bad. The cashiers do a wonderful job of keeping traffic flowing. read more

So upset. As a senior citizen I was so happy to get into the market to get some non-fat and 2 % milk for my husband and I and for my 90 year old parents. I was shocked to find out when I got home every carton had expired on the 15th of April. I can't take them back because of the isolation order and it was my fault for not checking the dates but I never thought that they would have expired milk on the shelf. I love Trader Joe's but this was a heart break. Check the dates since they don't! read more

Love this Trader Joe's! It is a little smaller than some I have been too but it usually had everything I'm looking for. Always has adorable plants and flowers. The prices here are very reasonable, definitely in line with Ralphs, but personally I think Trader Joe's stuff is usually better quality. Small selection of fresh meats as there is no butcher shop, but the chicken is usually organic or free range at a good price. It is usually very packed from 5-7pm but the lines always move quickly! Always fresh produce and love their fully cooked uncured bacon. I never walk by their samples at the end of the store without seeing what they are offering for the time being.This morning it was fresh blue berries and always some type of hot coffee being offered, always a plus. read more

This Trader Joe's seems to forget a pandemic is going on. I have gone in multiple times and some customers are not wearing their masks. I brought it up to a worker given the mask protocols indoors, and they said they cant do anything about it. They are really putting the health and safety of the customers at risk and based on the reviews other people have noticed too. This is my least favorite location, of the hundred or so stores that I've been into. It's smaller than most, they are often times out of items, and the worst of all complaints is that the workers are the slowest I've ever seen. I do t want to be that person to call people out, but Jason was our check-out guy, and he took SOOOOOO long that my friend and I literally thought we were on candid camera. He was sweet for sure, but he moved like molasses in January. It was so painful, it took us as much time to go through the line and walk through the entire store, as it did to check out. I know and understand TJ's employees to be quick and fastidious, and somehow this checker managed to be so slow that my friend and I were cursing under our breath, and didn't want him to ask us whether we ran out of T day food (he was asking why we bought $200 worth of food when T day just completed), he was being sweet and making conversation, but every time he did, he moved very slowly, and started trying to process the bin of groceries in front of him that we already told him was not ours, it was the female behind us. Some other female came through and moved her bin in front of our cart, which really confused this guy. This location is fine, I'm happy to have a TJ's in glendale, and Jason was very sweet, but this was the most painful experience I've ever had at Trader Joe's in my life, and trust you, I've experienced many. I won't move into a city without a TJ's in it. All in all, the employees aren't as efficient, there aren't as many noticeable items, or they are out of stock, lines are around the block during Covid, and I was amazed at how many customers were in my face, DURING COVID (today!) while in the store. It felt like before Covid times. I always feel cramped In Trader Joe's, not so much during Covid, but it was right back to normal today. I will always support TJ's, but when I move, I will NOT miss this location. read more

This is my regular, go-to TJ and every time I'm there, I'm so happy with the service. But today was absolutely exceptional... so much so that I had to post about it! I attempted to do some shopping to stock up on a couple of things in light of CV; and the staff was absolutely incredible! So professional, KIND, and accommodating... there was a cap for things like meat and dairy (as there should be during times like these) but they made my shopping experience so calm and easy. I was anxious to go shopping but they made it so easy for me and other shoppers. I salute all of the employees at this Trader Joe's! Very well done! read more

One of my favorite places to go. But recently and with the pandemic they start to be a little bit pushy During the checkout. Plus not allowing people to bring in their own bags. In order to enforce that they are charging $.10 per bag. The cashier asked me if I need a bag so I told her I'll take one even though I had a few items only. So she gave me just a regular cheap paper bag with no handles. I told her I want your trader Joe's original bag She said we don't have it. So I told her that's fine I'll take one bag then I left. Once I got home I found out she doubled the bags and charged me $.20 for two bags instead of one! That's not cool from Trader Joe's enforcing their own bags and cheating with them. read more

I went to do some afternoon grocery shopping and I was in line to pay for my groceries. There was probably only 1 customer behind me. The cashier Aiden pushes my cart away and says, sorry, this is the express lane. I had about 20 items in my cart. There were NO SIGNS indicating how many items were the maximum for the express lane. The customer next to me felt so bad that he let me cut in front of him on the "regular lanes". We were both confused about the situation because there were no signs indicating how many items were the max. The lines weren't out of control in the "Express Lanes" either. If anything, Aiden could have helped out his colleagues by ringing me up so it would lighten their load. Altogether, the experience was frustrating. read more

This location has become my new go-to Trader Joe's. For some reason I feel like every TJ's location in LA has a TERRIBLE parking situation...it's almost like they specifically choose parking lots with poor layouts when they choose where to open a store. This one has ok parking...people just tend to drive like idiots (but maybe that's because it's Glendale... :P). I also recommend coming during the week because on the weekdays both the parking lot and store can be a nightmare. This location is a pretty decent size and easy to navigate through. They are always well stocked on things, including KRINGLE which is this incredibly delicious pastry I literally have not seen at ANY other location I've been to. They don't have it all the time, but I've purchased it at least 3-5 times from this location and it makes me so happy! The cashiers here always seem to be super nice and friendly. 5 stars for customer service! Overall, this is a pretty good TJ's location compared to others I've been to. One of my coworkers drives an hour from her apartment just to go here because she thinks it's so good! read more

Trader Joe's locations are pretty much the same all around and I'm usually greeted by helpful and kind employees. However, as I was waiting in line for about five minutes, a group of four elderly people just cut right in front of me. Now of course I do mind, seeing that I only had two items and each person that cut me had a handful of purchases. I politely let them know that I was waiting to be next in line. The mans wife was rude and ignored me the entire conversation continuously walking in front of me and bumping me with her purse, although her husband was sweet enough to insist I go ahead since I had two items. Whelp, can't give a rating based on their customers, right? What did upset me was their cashier Maria. She witnessed it all, completely dismissed me, and let the elderly couples all cut me out of line. Not once did she speak to me or apologize for the confusion. Maria made me feel completely unwelcome and I felt that she had a biased attitude, acting as if I was an arrogant child / customer stirring up trouble by speaking up for myself. I am only giving two stars bc the cashier that actually helped me was sweet and talkative while helping me. Maria, however, should probably be a lot nicer to all customers of every age. read more

The employees at this location are doing their best to help customers get through an incredibly difficult time. The baskets are cleaned, and no one gets through the door without wearing a mask. I'm here once a week and I love it. Staff is nice like they really want to help you which is nice . Took off a star because parking is a disaster . Especially since it's shared with coffee bean there have been multiple times I've left to go to Wholefoods instead . Try going Tuesday -Thursday if you can. Inventory is ok. There's a stuffed monkey bobo which they hide in different places, if you (mostly your child) can find it they give a lollipop so that's a fun way to distract young shoppers ! read more

Every time I come into this Trader Joe's, I am blown away by how sweet the team is. The first time I was amazed was when I came in on a Saturday and the guy at the register (I wish I remembered his name) asked me how my day was going so far. I told him it kind of sucked but I was just happy to be off work and hopefully have a better second half of the day. When I left the store, he came running out and and gave me sunflowers and said he hopes I have a better day. For someone to go above and beyond like that is beyond me. And in fact, my day was much better after that. The second time I came in, I asked two of the team members if they had sliced jalapeños and they both were so helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. We opened a jar and tried it and even though it wasn't what I was looking for, I was so happy with the help and the kindness of the staff. LOVE this Trader Joe's location! I'm a big fan of TJ, but specifically this one. It's located in the same lot as Walgreens so the parking situation is great, probably the easiest one i've ever been to. At the beginning it might seem really crowded since there are lines of cars everywhere but finding parking was easy since people were constantly leaving as well. This store is so exception to super friendly and helpful service, also really well stocked too. I didn't notice that this store have anything more than the other locations, maybe more flowers? While I'm at it, here are a few of my favorite items from TJ that I religiously restock: Dark chocolate power berries, tomato basil hummus, frozen veggies, Norwegian salmon, ALL the pastas, red curry sauce, TJ pancake mix etc... Anyway, will definitely make this one my go to location from now on! read more

Mixed feelings. I love most of what they carry but this location is a bit off in my book. There is always a parking issue but whatever let's move on. I have specific things I get from this store, or I used to get from this store. Green tea mochi (specific brand) ... Discontinued. Sardinian crackers... Discontinued Sardines in spicy sauce... Discontinued There was another item but I don't care to remember for some reason. Another reason for two stars and probably the most relevant reason is that they don't keep everything stocked. There is almost always something that I want, that they carry, it's just out of stock at the moment. For a young store they should do a bit better in my opinion. read more

I have a elderly friend of the family, who has become housebound. Every month, she receives the "Fearless Flyer," and sends me an email (yes, email!) with the all the things she found that she wants; including the page number, quantity, and price. Naturally, many of the things she finds in the flyer are not things I normally buy (I'm there 2x per week for myself!); but I can't find the things she wants. I ask the staff to help me find these items, and they are SUPER DUPER at helping me, even walking me over to the item (which I don't require, and think is above & beyond the call of duty). Anyway, I appreciate it a lot, and feel like we're working together to help an old woman get a few treats to make her remaining time more enjoyable. read more

This little grocery store is my favorite. I tried (and am still trying) many products from there - it's just hard to resist their cute and yummy packaging. The cookie section never lets me just pass by, I always hear cookies whispering "take me! No, take me!" :D The salads are amazing, especially the Asian chicken one. Unlike many of the other Trader Joe's stores in LA, this one has plenty of free parking. My boyfriend and I have come here every Saturday for the past two years. Although it can sometimes get a little crowded, the lines always move quickly. (This is in huge contrast to the local Vons, for example, which takes approximately 6 million hours to get through the line every time.) The food is, of course, lovely. Lots of delicious things at good prices. I've been introduced to many new flavors just browsing around here. The most important quality of this store, though - the one that gets it 5 stars, is its customer service. Everyone is incredibly helpful. I get great recommendations whenever I ask about wines or cheeses, and employees in the checkout will always find someone to replace an item in my cart that they find substandard (e.g. a wrap with wilty lettuce, or carton with a broken egg) with a better version. This never wastes time, either. They're so fast and efficient here. My number one shoutout has to go to Saro. He seriously brightens up my day every time we are lucky enough to go through his line. read more

This is a brand new TJ's that just opened 2 days ago. It is conveniently located just off the 134 freeway. The store itself is a bit smaller than some, but it seems to have all the usual products and friendly staff as well. parking - free lot with lots of patrons and very few available spots. There is a new Walgreens that appears to be opening soon, so likely parking will become even more difficult. read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I stopped by this location off of Glenoaks to get about 8 cases of water. I walked in and saw the store was very busy being only 10 am. A gentleman asked right away if I was being helped and directed me to who I needed to see at the Demo Station. I was amazed that the General Manager Miggy was the one doing the demo of a new product with such grace and a heart warming smile. When I asked for help, she not only had someone cover the station but also had another crew member assist me in loading the water to my truck. It's this kind of customer service from a grocery store that reminds me there are sill stores and people out there that care about one another and use the "Golden Rule". I lost my cell phone today while running a bunch of errands. When I got home I checked FIND MY PHONE on my laptop and saw that it was somewhere at the Trader Joe's in Glendale. I called and Miguel answered the phone. I drove out there again and Miguel met me as soon as I entered the store. We walked around the store together while he continued calling my phone and voila! We found it in a small gap near the cashier. Miguel was so incredibly helpful. He saved me when I was completely stressed out. I always shop here but now I love the store! read more

Yuck. As much as I love TJ's, I hate this new location. It's not because of the products, or even the parking that people seem to be complaining about (not really that big of a deal, IMHO). The thing that pissed me off more than anything was the employees. Every TJ's I've ever been to provides awesome service. I mean, friendly and fun. Almost all of the employees here are not friendly. They're not UNFRIENDLY, they're just also not friendly. Various employees literally kept getting in my way, or waiting awkwardly for me to get out of their way. It was just awkward! I mean, I guess they're kind of new, but they're soo different from other TJ's employees. The worst is that I kept hearing awkward conversations between several employees. Instead of talking to the customer, they were talking to each other. One was saying "You know how I get when I get drunk," and another was coercing his coworker to tell him why she broke up with her boyfriend. Vomit. I don't care, save it for the back room. Or at least whisper! Maybe I'm spoiled from all the awesome Trader Joe's employees I've encountered (elsewhere), but I'm literally likely never coming to this particular store again. Why would I, when the Burbank TJ's is literally 5 minutes away and soo much better. I would like to commend the sample-passer-outer lady, though.. she was super nice. ;) Oh, and the straw the broke the camel's back? There were a handful of Boursin cheeses left in the fridge.
