Out of all the locations in town, I feel this Trader Joe's has a little more variety. The difference I noticed was more vegan variety. I found vegan tika masala, vegan eggrolls & meatless chicken tenders. I used to visit the voss location quite often & I never stumbled upon these new findings. Overall, I rate it 4.5 stars simply because parking can be a hassle. I feel this location would be better off not connected to La Centerra. Seeing hows there a lot of other places around which share the same parking. Either way this location is closer to me then the Voss or Alabama location. This location is bigger then Alabama & about the same size as the voss location minus spacious parking lot. Ill be a regular thats for sure. Check it out & see for yourself. read more

I absolutely love this store! Not just for the TJ products, which are amazing, but the people here. They went above and beyond for me and my family today. After my shopping, we unloaded and as we were about to leave my car wouldn't start. While waiting to see what what was causing it, we asked an employee for help with a jump. Immediately, one of the employees came out and pulled up next to us and waited patiently. Always asking if we were ok, maybe try a little longer. Offered to keep our groceries chilled in the store and for us as we figure out what we were going to do. All the employees in the area were so helpful and friendly. Turned out I needed a tow, all the while getting nothing but support. Seriously, thanks y'all for your kindness and making me love this place even more. read more

I was in again yesterday & met "Brad." He was on the floor at first & asked if he could be of assistance. Then at checkout he was relieving another girl at the cash register. Everyone was so kind but he went above & beyond when he asked how my day was. He put his hand out & introduced himself. I'm so grateful Texas now has a TJ. Lived here 6yrs & missed TJ's from home. Really nice place. Sort of like a "Pier One" for groceries. We stopped in because I had read that they had really good Dijon mustard. Bought a jar to try. Also bought a bottle of their extra virgin Calamata Olive oil. After tasting them we went back the next day and bought two more of each! Also bought some of their Taziki sauce after tasting it at the store. Just wish they had one closer to our home. Since my mother and sister both live in Katy we will be stopping by Trader Joe's when ever we visit them. read more

WOOOHOOO I'm as happy as can be!!! Finally, I don't have to suffer through rush hour traffic to shop at my favorite grocery store ever! This location is so close to home and I'm almost positive that I won't be going to any other grocery store in Katy. Well, unless it's past 9 PM :) A few of my favorite things include: - JALAPENO GREEK YOGURT DIP - yes yes yes!!!! This goes so perfectly well with the Multigrain Pita Chips - Macarons - they come in a pack of a dozen for $5 - Speculoos Cookie Butter - Crunch Almond Butter without salt - Ridge Cut Sweet Potato Chips My favorite thing about Trader Joes is that it is very inexpensive. Although the produce selection is not as wide, the variety and freshness is perfect for me. Man, living in Katy just keeps getting better and better! read more

This Trader Joe's is just like the other Trader Joe's I've been to. They have quality produce, reasonable prices, a great selection and wonderful customer service. I enjoy shopping here and I'm in this store weekly. Even though they're pretty good, I typically stay away from the pre-made foods and go for the fresh produce, salad mixes, bottled water and frozen seafood. I do make a point to stop by the sample table though. Their selection is so good that many weeks, I do all my grocery shopping here. Parking is decent even though this TJ's is located in the busy La Centerra shopping center. There are a few times where I've had to park in the garage, but it's no big deal. With Bernie's Burger Bus open now, parking might become more scarce in the area. Overall though, if you're used to the Trader Joe's experience, the Cinco Ranch TJ's doesn't disappoint. read more

Cheap cards, great premade food (Orange Chicken, General Tso are personal favorites). I love all the snacks and they carry the only yogurt, squeezable yogurt and yogurt smoothies that my son will eat. I am not a great cook but they make it easy with those individually frozen chicken breasts and thighs at a super affordable price annnnd you don't have to defrost it, it cooks SO fast! Love all the free tastings (more than mt TJ's in MD). This is truly a wonderful place to shop and my kids love it too! I love that they offer organic, gluten free, paleo, keto, carb free, vegan friendly groceries. One recent discovery thanks to a girlfriends Instagram-they have some really great skincare products and what's not to love about chemical or paraben-free when your skin absorbs what you put on it?! They have better prices and special discounts for some of the quality products you'd find at the drug store. I love it because I'm usually running through the grocery store but Trader Joe's reminded me that shopping can be fun for the kids if you slow down and enjoy it and they've created a fun way to make it so. Also they are big supporters within our community and we've seen them out and about at many local events which is super cool. Here recently at the McNeill Elementary Pumpkin Run they gave out delicious cereal bars for participants. read more

There's a parking lot and garage right next to the store so I don't have to worry about circling around for a spot to free up. I love Trader Joe's!! The produce is fresh and reasonably priced, friendly service, clean and always organized. I also like that the stores aren't very big. Although you may not be able to find all of your groceries there, you can find most of it! The snack shack had paneer tikka masala with spinach basmati rice during my visit today and it was so good and full of flavor! I would definitely recommend this frozen meal from here. I haven't tried any other frozen meals from Trader Joe's, but since this one was so good I will more than likely be trying some of other options they have. read more

I am soooo glad TJ's finally opened. Their staff is amazing, and the products are fresh. I recommend trying the Cookie Butter and Cocoa spread. When you go, hit up the free sample section in the back, they always have a bunch of things to try. Early morning seems to be the best time to go. First impression: Smaller and more affordable version of a Whole Food Market. There are not many big national branded products on the shelves. There are a lot of Trader Joe's products and unknown brands ( in my case ) are stocked instead. Also, there are not a million selections of the same product to choose from which is fine for me. I like things simple, a whole aisle of cereals give me a headache. I love the snacks, sweets, and frozen foods sections due to lots of exotic products ( to me ) that are not seen in the usual supermarkets. Trader's Joe would be my main grocery store if one is located in my neighborhood. read more

Highly discouraged. I've heard such nice reviews about Trader Joe's so I decided to check it out. I was in La Centera and needed milk for my granddaughter so the two of us walked in. We picked up the milk and a few other items, definitely less than 10 items. When I proceeded to the checkout, I had the oddest most uncomfortable feeling. As I walk to an empty checkout lane, the tall, older man cashier walked away. He walked right in front of me, stepped over to a checkout lane two from his, and told the girl waiting in that lane to move over to his lane. I was in shock. He clearly saw me wheeling my grocery cart into his lane but he obviously did not want to bother with me. I thought I might have been in the wrong lane, as the lanes are set up a bit different. Then I thought there might have been one lane - first come, first serve. But that wasn't the case. That man clearly IGNORED me! All I could say is "what the heck?". At that point one of the other cashiers noticed what happened, she very graciously rushed to move me to her register. I know she knew I was upset. But she was extremely helpful and accommodating. All I can say is "Thank you dear girl", but that was my first time and last in that store. I don't know why that older man treated me in that manner, but whatever your prejudice, your action caused the loss of a customer. read more

I came in here today with a specific list from wife of different items to get. I haven't been inside of a Trader Joe's in years and had no idea where to start when looking for the items. I wish I could of gotten this girl's name so I can include her on the review but... I had asked her where the Everything but the Bagel seasoning was and she walked me over to the exact location and then asked me if I had anything else on my list. I love that since Trader Joes has come to town that my spending at Whole Paycheck(as my husband calls it) has gone from a flood to a trickle. I have become hopelessly addicted to triple ginger cookies, but have managed to mostly wean myself off of the crunchy cookie butter.
