Clean, organized and excellent customer service. I got a salad and 4 bouquets to gift in the last day of my movie to my actresses. The cashier asked me if I wanted a box to travel better with the flowers, which was an excellent idea. Highly recommend

10/5/24 Aren't these just darling? I want one! Or two?

10/5/24 Feels like AUTUMN here, unlike Montclair where it was a whopping 95 degrees today! I love visiting this TJ location, staff are always friendly & helpful, fresh produce & seasonal items are featured. It could get pretty hectic (customers & parking) but we always manage to score a spot. I saw some cute looking Halloween & autumn decor. Gourds were for 0.89, got a few for a project I am planning on tackling (courtesy of craft ideas from Roger's Gardens- will post those if I am successful). Got some dark chocolate sunflower cups, these are super yummy btw. Once it starts to cool down, will bake corn bread from the mix I just purchased. It was a quick pit stop but it was a pleasant visit.

Trader Joe's Market in Rancho Palos Verdes, California is,as all the Trader Joe's Markets are, keeping it safe for everyone and are constantly providing great fresh foods and beverages. Social distancing, staff masks and gloves, sanitizing shopping carts, the works!

I think I've been to every Trader Joe's in a 30 mile radius... and that's not a bad thing. One of the classic grocery spots on the hill. Always a good place to pick up interesting snacks, quick frozen meals, and plenty of good bread. They've got a good mix of everything, and it's all held to the standard of the TJ label. If you're reading a review of a Trader Joe's, you're probably looking for reasons not to go. Consider this a PSA to go get good food.

Best of Trader Joe's

This Trader Joe's is in one of the safest, best view, and most expensive real estate locations in Southern California. It's in the COVE shopping center that has a Starcrooks and Subwaste that overlooks the Pacific Ocean from high up on a cliff. You won't find a TJ in a better location anywhere. But how they get all this food up that hill from the city I have no idea. Easy large parking lot, friendly employees, and a very well healed customers base. You may feel a bit intimidated driving up here without a luxury automobile, but the folks in Trader Joe's will not ask you about it, so don't worry. Just be ready at checkout to say something like, "Meeting friend's at Trump's (his golf course near by) for dinner later, just picking up some stuff here for the "help," "my Rover is get a tune today," and you'll be fine.

I don't know what else to say it's the best Trader Joe's ever? You're right by the ocean the drive is a pleasure. The staff members are absolutely delightful. I have another store closer but it's worth an extra few minutes to drive to this store. Early in the morning very uncrowded and well stocked with the items you might not find at other Trader Joe's just because this is a slightly larger store. I have yet to have a negative experience at the store. Pretty much any Trader Joe's is going to be excellent. But this one stands out

They pretty much ignore you for a good few minutes, probably hoping you'll go away, as they seem engrossed in doing whatever job is at hand. Then, when they finally come up, they are less than friendly. Maybe it's working in the cold, but I dread going there. Which is a pity, as the meats are superior at Bristol farms. My main gripe about today's visit is that there was only one cashier who was in deep conversation with the customer in front of me. Granted she was assisting the customer with a concern, but I was in a hurry. I could have used the self service checkout, but I had fresh poke which I love from the self serve station. I didn't have the code to get a price ($22.00 for a pint), which is way out of line for the size of the container, but then again they used fresh fish in the poke and not fish that was previously frozen. The store is well stocked and neatly organized. The meat counter and deli service is outstanding. They just need more cashiers at this store, at least one more to accommodate the line.

It uses a similar but separate smartphone app than Von's, though one can use the same login. The flyer and sales are similar. Two other observations: -- Heard 'Carefree Highway' by Gordon Lightfoot playing over the intercom...I've never heard a song by Gordo at any grocery store before. Definitely indicates the type of clientele this store in Palos Verdes attracts. -- there is an official Pokemoncenter vending machine in the store, selling product at retail price. It is not listed on the tracking sites, so thinking it's relatively new. Of course, it displayed all items as being sold, once I was able to get close (after the young lurkers had left).

The Green KitKats (Extra Matcha Tea Chocolate from Japan). 3. The Hanyul Hand Cream (I bought three - Chrysanthemum, Artemisia, and Ja Cho). They smell amazing and keep my hands moisturized.
