    Blue cheese chip

I just want to say that the cornbread crisp is definitely something that you would need to get. And try them they're so buttery & crispy it has a cornmeal texture. I never would have thought it would be good but they are. I had to purchase extra bags for my sisters. That's how good they are i also purchased the blue cheese & garlic butter potato chips. Both flavor chips are really BOLD in flavor. They remind me of kettle chips with that good crunch. I can imagine they would be really good with a Turkey sandwich. Another highly recommend for the win.

Its a convenient location with their own dedicated parking garage parking that I believe is good for 90 minutes without paying. The location is smaller than other trader joe locations, but if they carry what you need, then it's a quick in and quick out type of shop. The distance between the registers and the aisles are shorter than the other location in Gaithersburg/Rockville, but not that big of a deal. It just seems more daunting if there is a long line. I love the convenient placement of this location - especially if you are a Trade Joes fan. They have less on each item out on display, but I can tell they are trying to put as much variety on the shelves as possible. I think this is an easier place to visit than the other one closer to Bethesda with tight parking and the one closer to Kentlands (notoriously horrendous parking lot).

A new Trader Joe's has arrived in my neighborhood. I stopped by on Friday and did some shopping. This Trader Joe's is a little smaller than my usual store, but I really loved some of the gourmet ingredients. I picked up white misu paste, ponzu sauce, and organic Tahini spread. I also found San Marizano tomatoes. Score. The same wonderful staff are there to help you. They also had their sample stand up and running and I ended up buying these delicious lemon cookies. I don't see as many fruits as I normally see at my other Trader Joe's, but I could also be getting used to the new store layout. I did notice a lot of prepared foods and the shrimp salad looked inviting. I am really happy that Trader Joe's opened this new store and I am sure that I will be back to shop.

Grand opening ing on June 12, 2025.

Super clean and convenient location it was well stocked. There's only a few check out lanes. A tad bit smaller than other Trader Joe's I've been to but very clean and organized. Cashiers are super quick and friendly. Located near the library and five guys. Nice area to walk around.

Rockville Town Square has some issues with parking, but there is ample parking for the store both in the surface lot and below-ground parking.

My Mom had their green beans as a side and I had a few - they were crispy and very good. Too many places over cook things. Waitress behind the bar was great. Nice 'neighborhoody' casual atmosphere. First time here - will hopefully be back within a few weeks. Five stars, albeit based on one visit Decent beer selection, nothing I hadn't had before. Any Marylander of the Boomer and GenX generation knows about O'Donnell's RUM BUNS. I used to come here with family back in its heyday and these were served table side before our meal. How crazy is that, a nice lil somewhat sinful dessert BEFORE some MD crab?! Those were the days! The rum buns are more nostalgia more than anything, I wouldn't say they'll blow your socks off, but hey, nostalgia is nostalgia. Well, I'll need to dine in here for a full and complete verdict, but my quick grab and go visit was a tad chaotic. Service for taking orders could improve - you walk in, there's a seafood counter to your left, bakery counter to your right (both were unmanned when I walked in) and in the middle is a deli section with the cash register where I assume they take orders. We stood there for a few good minutes before getting anyone's attention despite the fact a manager asking staff (not customers) if everyone was being helped. Clearly staff did not know who was waiting to check out, take orders or just waiting for their orders to arrive. So it was just weird. No one greeting you as you walk in either, it just also weird because there's no clear line anywhere you stand. Otherwise, rum buns were as I remembered them. Also picked up crab dip and chicken salad from the grab and go section from the back and they were just ok, not bad, not great. So will come again for a future visit hoping to have a much better meal and experience!

There are a lot of trollers writing fake bad reviews about this store, which sadly does not…read moresurprise me. The store is pretty good quality, otherwise I wouldn't be going a few hours out of my way to shop here. Things are tidy, neat, organized and lots of great selection for such simple things as soy-sauce, especially if you are a connoisseur, which one becomes if you are Asian and into cooking. Being a vegetarian, there are lots of choices in fresh veggies and fruits, and great Asian choices. There are also aisles for tea, noodles, and cookware. My problem is that their checkout system is not sufficient. I cannot help noticing that in DC Metro all these Asian stores hire a high proportion of Latinos. They work at the counter and in the back and number more than the Asian workers. Having come from an Asian small grocery, everyone my parents hired were Asian. They offered pay to Asian college students. They know that Asian-Americans would like to work, and can do at least as good a job in sorting, processing, cashiering. My mom was a very good cashier when she helped out. They can stand the work for long hours just like in China. But here, they are NOT giving enough of those kinds of opportunities to Asian-Americans, even all the college students in UM or MCC who would also love a PT job. Specifically, I became angry because a Latino couple stood behind me and was bum-rushing me at the counter. They tried to cut in front of me, but I pointed out my place in the line. I had just as small a basket of items as they did, so they should have been willing to yield, but they were not. When it came to putting things in my shopping bag to take out, the Latina cashier barely helped me. Then I had to pay, but the Latino couple was trying to crowd me out, since i like to stand right in front of the register to receive my change, which I have a right to. Instead they objected to my wanting to stand at the counter table. Then when I was rather slow putting things away, they sort of made a jeering comment about it. This really caused me to blow my top. How many times do I come to a Latino grocery store and am very patient and pleasant? How many times do I put up when the fellow shoppers refer to me as "China" and the cashier is a tiny bit edgy? They never hire Asian Americans to work at any Latino grocery stores that I know about! Never! I never see them cooking in the back, doing packing work, or cashiering! As for Indian grocery stores, it is also totally out of the question! They also proudly hire all of their own to pack, sort, cook, bake, their Indian cuisine! Asian-American businesses cannot even have the dignity of hiring all Asian workers many of who would love to work. Instead, they have to cater to corporate America and hire just so many Latino and black workers for their stores, and whether this is due to DEI is perplexing. Again, I never see that Latino/Black grocery stores are hiring any Asian American workers. That simply is not required so it does not happen! So these corporate pressures push Asian Americans who are more average students and from the lower-income towards crime and towards the underworld. They even have to work at nail-salons where they have to slavishly cater to the whims of women pretending to be mistresses and subject to all manners of abuse. From there they can fall victims of cancer, and rape, and much worse as they cater to the whims of disgusting creatures hoping for their moral downfall. This would be less if Asian Americans stood up for themselves by having all-Asian businesses like they do on the West coast, and where the authorities still respect and honor family businesses and allow them to hire as many of their own kind as they wish, because I absolutely refuse to believe that Asian Americans young or old would NOT want to work at these Asian supermarkets if they were given a chance! Just look at all those Asian housewives shopping here! They are so quick and grabby and focused that they just swim through the cashier line and never mind anything. They certainly would not mind some jeering by a few mouthy other minorities! Failing this, then the other option for older disabled Asian-Americans being bum-rushed and treated to Spanish conversation at this store at the check-out counter, is to PLEASE CONSIDER PUTTING IN SELF-CHECKOUT COUNTERS. I pointed this out to a manager, but he said all he can do is report any problems with checkout to the owner. CVS, Target, Walmart, and many other stores have gone Self-Checkout and it is to help accommodate shoppers since these self-checkout offer more space and a bit more time as well. There is nobody standing right behind you crowding in on you and talking up to the cashier. They can go to almost any other store in this region anyway and find a few Latino grocery stores to shop and play bum-rush at the checkout.
