This is one of my favorite grocery stores. I love their selections of spices, cards...yes cards, cookies, sweet treats, wines and flowers. Their flowers are my fave great prices and last a long time. Great selection seasonally too like it just picked up lilacs!! 10.99 a bunch! The staff is above amazing, always friendly, helpful and have a smile on their faces. Prices are pretty good too not expensive compared to other local grocery stores Clean aisles and bathrooms. Amazing selection of frozen items. Okay, FIRST Trader Joe's is ALWAYS FIVE STARS in my book, but this particular location is not my preferred stop. I was excited when this TJ's opened up, as it was the one most accessible to me, but a far as TJ's go this one is right on campus essentially, so see's a huge amount of student traffic which is reflected in the store, in the parking lot and on the overall stocked manner of the store. The team is alway's friendly and it is a solid option to get any seasonal or limited holiday decor/specialty items - not typically on my college kids lists - so do love that! They do not sell liquor at this location either, only beer and wine, but that's hit or miss for TJ's anyway. They share a lot with a large amount of popular stores, so it can be tough to find a spot. Otherwise still love their overall selection of offerings. They are my go-to spot for any freezer ready meals, crackers, seasonings or sauces, nuts, I guess really most things! read more

This one is no exception. Nestled in a booming shopping plaza is this Trader Joe's. It's within walking distance of the Arizona State University campus and it gets busy. It's a spacious store with all the great product we have grown to love and appreciate. Get your snacks, fresh produce, and all the seasonal items here. Although, fair warning, if you're looking to find some Tik Tok viral goodies and products, you won't find them here. They fly off the shelves ASAP. Like at all Trader Joe's, the staff here are super friendly. You would think with having to deal with ASU students all the time, they would get ornery, but never at a Trader Joe's. I went to buy eggs and I paid 5 dollars for a dozen eggs, one egg was frozen to it and it broke (so that's on me because I didn't check) but I went straight home and then started breaking them to cook and there was mold in the egg. I had to pull it out of the bowl so it was on the edge of the egg shell. I'm disappointed because if I'm paying that much I'd hope there isn't mold in my eggs. read more

Tonight's shopping experience at Trader Joe's was truly exceptional. Their customer service consistently exceeds expectations, and tonight was no exception. While searching for heart-shaped pasta to prepare a Valentine's Day meal for my five-year-old niece, I inquired about it with an employee. To my surprise, two other staff members overheard my request and took the initiative to find the pasta for me. Although it was believed to be sold out, they went above and beyond, finding a few bags and bringing them directly to me at their registers. The kindness and attentiveness of the Trader Joe's staff truly stood out. To top it off, the employee who bagged my groceries kindly offered to help me carry them to my car. It was as if they recognized that a bit of extra kindness would make a significant difference in my day. It is extremely obvious to me that the shopping carts at the entrance should be turned around so I can grab them by the handle and go into the store. I should not to I have to walk 20 feet into the shopping cart area and drag the cart out by its nose like a loser. It irritates me every time I come here. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's and this location has become my regular stop since I moved to the area. It's located near ASU campus in the Cornerstone plaza. I usually see lots of students shopping here. Even though I like to call myself an avid Trader Joe's shopper, I feel I still have lots to learn. My friends always seem to find way cooler stuff at Trader Joe's. I love their seasonal items. They like to roll out the carpet for the holidays. If you like pumpkin everything products in the Fall, this is the place to go. Trader Joe's has been around over fifty years and opened their first store in Pasadena. I love the tiki theme and how environment friendly their products are. I follow a couple of Instagram accounts that give you ideas on what to shop for. I even have a cookbook with meal ideas that use only Trader Joe's products as the ingredients. You can make a pretty good charcuterie board using a variety of their affordable cheeses. Flowers and wine are good pick-ups too. Even though it is no longer $2, "Two Buck Chuck" is still a solid affordable wine. read more

I absolutely love shopping at Trader Joe's. I don't frequent this location that often, just because of where it's located. In the summer, if you need a place to cook off, Trader Joe's is the spot! I don't know what the temp is set to, but it definitely feels like it's below zero every time I go there. You have to make sure you're bundled up real good in the winter, otherwise... So I went to get the insulated rectangular bag they are totally sold out. On every other level I just love TJ's. Unique food. Various seasonings you cannot get anywhere else. Trader Joe's is my favorite place to get groceries and now this is my favorite Trader Joe's. The layout is a little different than usual, but I don't think it's any tougher to navigate. It encourages browsing up and down the aisles, which is nice in a store with smaller selection than Walmart. They have a very local flair for a chain, particularly in this location. It's often busy on the weekends because of its proximity to the ASU campus, but I'd brave this parking lot anytime for the excellent product selection and super friendly employees. read more

With all the recent & continuation of development, this TJ's is settling in just right amongst a busy retail plaza. I got a little excited with the larger selection of V-Crew products to include the Vegan Caramelized Onion Dip, which 2 containers proved not to be enough. Oh, those Vegan Cookies & Cream Vanilla Bean Bon Bons are next up on the shopping list. The store is immensely tidy with dedicated employees on the disinfecting duties. And of course everything they sell has Trader Joe's signature. However I noticed that bell peppers were cheaper than in Minnesota: Half price! I did not look at everything else to compare prices. I really appreciate that the aisles are a little wider than most other locations, but it's definitely every bit as busy as anywhere else. Employees are friendly and helpful, and the store is organized as well as any other TJ's. Only other real sticking point is that it's crammed into an already-busy plaza, so parking can be pretty difficult. read more

Have you ever experienced service that was too good?!?! This brand new TJ's was real close, by far the staff out numbered customers with 3 outside doing nothing but directing you with a friendly shout, hello's from all directions as you enter and almost each section had a staff member attached to it, at the ready to answer questions and reload the shelves. Alde owns Trader Joes and is exactly the opposite, you are almost startled when you come across a crew member at Alde. All this special attention equals one thing...a perfect store. every thing and I mean Everything Was loaded and faced, the floors and fauna were all perfect (see what I did there) and I almost had to plow thru 6 or 7 crew members to get to a register (they all wanted to ring me up). Once there, the cashiers were chatty and pleasant, even on my way out I heard plenty of thanks and good bye's one from 20 feet away! Service over-load for sure but I'm not complaining. read more

So normally I would never do this... my local Trader Joe's in La Quinta Ca, so I ran around the corner to this location in Tempe AZ, that I've been to before with no problem... so today 7/6 I went in with my kids like all my kids my 2 older children and one dog that like my son but is also my service animal, I walked around the whole store that day and no one said anything to me I had my service dog in one of the carts on his mat so he was completely comfortable he had not made a sound or I felt didn't distract anyone in anyway, getting back to what I was say I walk the whole dam store twice and still nothing I was in front of the mangers little box thing in front of 2 people a woman and a man they were laughing but didn't think much of it myself... walked back to the register to Pay for 3 things I needed for this evening and the woman behind the counter came out and down from it to tell me that only service dogs were able to be in the store and when I was going to explain that he is, she cut me off saying she wasn't finished talking to me so I let her finish, she also told me that dogs are not able to be in the carts I let it be because like I said I go to my local Trader Joe's never made a fuss or this location that I have been in before with my dog but I carried him in That time and I seen other dog owners in with there dogs and 2 in a cart with out a mat to sit on or anything She said it was a trigger to see the dog in the cart, but as she was talk to me the man I'm the booth with her was still laughing, so I finished and as I walked out both were still laughing so I cleaned the cart wipe it down mind you my dog never really touched the cart!!!! I honestly feel I was profile because I'm not" white" I'm Hispanic with my dog and if she would have let me talk I would have gave her all the proper paperwork and his vest as well.. I also let the both of them know I had cleaned the cart I used and told them I would never!!!!! Be back!!!! Because I have seen dogs in the carts before, I'm going to be moving soon next week actually permanently to Tempe and with this being the closest TG and the staff clearly is up tight about my dog I will not be going back!!!! I've wanted to see the new TJ's, and today was the day! Such a clean, well organized store! The employees were so pleasant, and helpful. This store had wider aisles than the other TJ's that I've been in, and all other grocery stores in my area. I hate extra displays standing in the middle of narrow shopping aisles! There's not here! I love their pre-packaged green salads. I always feel like I'm on a treasure hunt, walking around, exploring. Great quality, great prices, great healthy food! I was concerned that it would be swamped since it's near the ASU Tempe campus, but students are learning online. Great shopping experience. I love how they use brown bags with handles! And they double bag each bag! I reuse the brown bags with handles for everything. I can't bear to throw them away. I'm an avid recycler. They are insulated, and are easier to carry than the cheap plastic grocery bags that other stores use. Thanks, Trader Joe's, for adding a new location much closer to my home. This location is located right next to ASU and makes it convenient for any students living on the east side of campus. Having been to several Trader Joe's in California, this location felt slightly smaller (with fewer produce) than other locations, but had wider aisles. That said, you are easily able to find essentials (so it's not too big of a problem). I was really excited to try TJ's sangria but was a little disappointed with the taste; definitely did not live up to the Maria Jola brand they carried a while back. If you're looking for quality ingredients and great service, I'd recommend checking this location out! read more

I love Trader Joe's. It is my heart and soul. When I heard that Trader Joe's was having a haunted house gingerbread competition, I was all in. My heart was set on winning. Despite that my super high roommates just kept eating the jellybeans and I had to get creative with my sources and used the candies in different ways, I believe that showed even more creativity in the building of my house. I was so confident in sending in my photos that I knew we were going to win and I was so excited because then I would be able to try new Trader Joe's food without using any of my money. I love this place! The workers are always so nice and friendly and go out of their way to ask if you need help! Every employee I've ever encountered here has been so sweet and they always make the experience enjoyable. This place does a wonderful job keeping up with stock and inventory, but be aware that it is the Trader Joe's near ASU so it is always busy and things get sold out fast! Especially things like the chili lime chips, orange chicken, and frozen rice. Also parking may be a little difficult because it is a busy store in a busy complex. Living in the South Scottsdale/North Tempe area you are left with two options: 1. Pay big $$$ at Whole Foods on Mill Ave 2. Drive 20 minutes to another Trader Joe's location. I am SO happy I only have to drive a mile to get access to affordable healthy foods! This store seems bigger than the paradise valley and south tempe locations, everything was fully stocked and immaculate. What you won't get at Whole Foods is the incredibly kind and genuine staff. Whoever is in charge of hiring did an incredible job, the entire staff was personable and helpful.
