I drive from Camarillo to this wonderful Trader Joes, always stocked and fresh. Not like the Camarillo Store. Never has anything. Friendly and great parking, I like this one instead of the one off Moorpark. They have all that I need and I can plan a couple of meals going there and that's what grocery shopping is all about. read more

The staff is always welcoming and happily willing to answer questions. Love their selection of different foods. I can't get enough of their amazing assortment of cheeses. Only thing that bothers me is the parking but in a busy parking lot with the gym you just have to time it properly. Not there fault and it definitely willnt stop me from shopping there. read more

The salads were old. Wasn't even greeted at the door. I go to trader joe's for all my food back in my town, but this store seemed dull inside, and the workers don't seem excited to be there like at my traders. Not happy with this visit, I literally had a panic attack with the negativity feel in there- I just wanted to get out! read more

Never again. I swore I wasn't going to buy meat at Trader Joe's but the other day I broke down and bought some salmon there. Wild salmon from Alaska I love. Cooked it up for a friend. Everything was cool until the middle of the night when I woke up and I had like a fever, I almost passed out, felt sick to my stomach, really bad night. Turns out the friend who I served it to also got sick. Trader Joe's needs to do something about their meat department.I've bought chicken there before and I open the package the same day and it smells, I work for an acupuncturist who I've talked to several patients who got food poisoning through some of Trader Joe's products. Well TJ's is great for some things, their meat section is now totally off-limits for me. When I buy fish I want to see it behind the counter laying on some ice. read more

Great store, jerk employees who let people cut in line. I was waiting in line for a couple minutes between two lines, leaning towards one line cause thought more done, woman cuts in front of me, they serve her, cashier and manager attack me for complaining. A disclaimer first - this review is of the Trader Joe's on Reino Road only. Other Trader Joe's are much better. If you like rotten produce and rude employees, this is the place to go. I can't count the number of times I have opened a freshly bought package of fruit or vegetables only to find mold or rotting produce. The employees and management have apparently never heard of rotating or removing old produce - they just put more stuff on top of it! I'm tired of playing produce Russian Roulette. As far as the employees, most of them are rude and treat the customers as an inconvenience. I have witnessed them pushing customers out of the way so they can stock the shelves. The only customers who can get good service are the attractive females who come in from the gym next door. In general, it is an unpleasant experience to shop there. It is worth driving across town to Moorpark Road or Westlake Village to find better produce and clean shelves. read more

This store has amazing staff! Ive always loved this store and they are always attentive. My son came down with the flu and threw up all over their floor and they offered him water and a lollipop and assured him it was okay. They cleaned up the mess and were super caring with the whole scene. Meanwhile, i was a wreck and embarrassed. So thank you for showing empathy and kindness to us. It didn't go unnoticed! read more

You can't go wrong with Trader Joes. Their selection is a little smaller than other TJ's I've been to, but they still have most of my faves. One thing that bothers me is there's so much wasted space up front. Pack it with more goodies, please! read more

Love T J's and grateful this is now in our neighborhood. It is a little disconcerting thought that they like to move the stuff around. I love Trader Joe's. YAY This location is small but still has good stuff. I buy my daughters the toasted seaweed and they have several cereals that we love. My daughter has a peanut allergy which makes it difficult because a lot of their stuff is cross contaminated but there are many things we can get. The people are nice and since it's small parking is easy. I do wish their produce was fresher. Sometimes their broccoli isn't really crisp and the asparagus goes bad quick BUT their green beans are awesome and I love their hummus. read more

I shop here fairly often and the people that work here couldn't be more friendly and helpful, that's almost a given at TJ'S, but...last week I asked the gal that does the food prep for tasting if she had a recipe for Linguini&Clams from their arsenal of recipes. She said no, but within 2 minutes another sales girl came up to me with a printed recipe off the internet! I thought that was way beyond the call of duty and really appreciated them doing that for me. I'm a business owner myself, and I think TJ's exemplifies what it takes to be successful. read more

5 Stars for the Friendly Staff Major plus for the great samples, and free coffee samples with Real cream not powdered. My only gripe is their expiration dates regarding milk, tortillas and bread. I went in today on the 21st and could not find a better expiration date than the 24th on the tortillas and most of them said the 23rd. With the organic milk in other grocery stores you can get an Expiration date of a month ahead for the organic milk. At TJ's it's about a week I would also like to see more Organic Fruits stocked as well as Fruits and Vegetables from California. I prefer not to buy any fruits and vegetables from Mexico since the Farms are only 15 minutes away from the conejo valley. Still a good store and I will continue to go often. read more

Wonderful selections. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Great prices and quality (I wish they would eliminate Canola Oil from their products-highly controversial. In Europe they only allow sunflower oils, Safflower oils, etc.) I simply refuse to frequent other big box grocery stores. I am a huge fan and will continue to keep coming back to TJ!!!!!!! read more

I love this store. Everyone that works here is helpful and friendly. I love their own brand of prepared foods. I enjoy their free samples and often come home with new dinner ideas. I love that it is small compared to the typical supermarkets so I can get in and out very quickly. I go here almost every day. I also love that their prices are consistently better than other supermarkets and I don't have to bother with coupons and sales. I just get what I want when I want it and it's always a good price. And compared to other Trader Joe's in the area, this one is superior because there's plenty of parking and the aisles are not too crowded. They are not perfect though. They don't carry absolutely everything I need so I sometimes have to grit my teeth and go to Albertsons. Also, sometimes they run out of things. Lastly, I bought chicken here twice that was bad and had to bring it back but the manager couldn't have been nicer about it. So after reading my 3 complaints you're probably wondering why I gave it 5 stars. I feel so strongly about the pluses that it completely overides these negatives. I love Trader Joes! read more

So happy we have a TJs in the area. Before we started shopping here, we always bought from Costco or those other supermarkets. Even though the place isn't large, it covers most of our daily needs at a reasonable price. The staff is always nice and helpful. My best experience was asking a question regarding the taste of their string cheese. He took the bag of string cheese, opened it up and gave me a taste test. And after we were done eating, he asked how was the taste. I said it was great and bought it. Great place! read more

TJs is my market of choice. Music is pleasing and there are no intrusive store announcements...none. Combine this with good people, and you've got a recipe for contentment. Employees are accommodating and seem happy to be there! Other customers ask your opinions on products, help you find things, or just chat you up a bit. Because of the friendly atmosphere and fair pricing, I shop without stress; in the larger food stores, not so much. read more
