At checkout, the cashier assumed my husband had already purchased a bag earlier. When my husband explained that he had not yet paid for the one bag he had initially picked up, the cashier insisted he did and that allowing him to purchase another bag would not be fair because some people buy additional bags to resell. He really felt being stereotyped. We are not resellers, he was simply purchasing the permitted quantity for a family celebration. But come to think of it, there is nothing wrong with people reselling the totes, as they purchased them legally and did not steal them.
