My dog had been diagnosed w epilepsy and possibility of a brain tumor. Unfortunately while being on drugs to control seizing she aspirated on fluid. My roommate drove us to this location while I was trying to provide CPR. She passed away in the car enroute. Panicked I walked in to get help to possibly revive her or just so I wouldn't have to carry my dead dog. When I got to the front desk they told me simply that there was nothing that would do and that in order to keep guests calm I was to go to their back entrance and a nurse would come and collect the body. When the nurse arrived at the vehicle she was a petite lady upon looking at my 70 pound dog she quickly says "oh she's to big for me I'll need you to carry her in". I bring my dog through the back door in to what appears to be a broom closet. The nurse then grabs a black trash bag and asks me to place my dog in the bag while she held it open. While I'm still holding my deceased dog in a black trash bag she begins clearly clutter from the top of what would be the freezer I would now be placing my dog in. She patted my shoulder and said "sorry you had to do this but you can't stay back here you can back around through the front to decide what do to do with her body". Truly this is most disgusting and traumatizing thing I have EVER had to endure. The lack of professionalism and sympathy deeply disturbs me and it's been 4 years. Below I'll attach a picture of the beautiful soul that I had to place in a trash bag. Who ever oversees this location needs a wake up call immediately and anyone that was working on May 23 2022; you should be ashamed of what you put me through.

The tech took down the info of why I was there and then Dr. Mark came in and started right in with a list of what to say. He doesn't seem to care about what you have to say or ask any questions. I know my dog best, so why not listen and ask questions? While he was going down his list of possible reasons for my dogs problem, the tech took my dog to get his nails clipped... I said to her beforehand that I'm typically able to do it but the last couple times, I clipped a nail too short. Once she brought him back, I could already tell that the nail clipping job was choppy and rough looking, so I checked underneath to see if he bled because one nail was definitely far too short... there were clearly multiple nails that she clipped too short because there was clotting material on quite a few nails. Why didn't she mention this? I left there $200 later with no answers or rather, a bunch of possibilities, and a shampoo to try on my dog. I then noticed blood in the car and assumed that one of the nails she clipped too short opened back up but instead found out at home when I noticed blood on the couch that instead of it being a nail bleeding, that there was a gash right near the nail. She clearly had a hard time with him and I can only imagine how rough they might've been with him to put a gash in his foot. Why didn't she mention any of it to me? I think most people would agree that you want to know that your pet is in good hands. I'm very disappointed and will not be going back to this pet check. I'd recommend the deptford one but maybe Thrive would even be better.

They did everything they could to prolong his life and ended up getting us 5 additional months with our boy when we thought we'd lose him back in October. I can't recommend them enough. Your animal will be lucky to be cared for by a team, including everyone from the front desk crew to the vets themselves, who genuinely care about them as more than just a patient. Good bless the team at Cross Keys Animal Hospital. And thank you so much for your compassion and friendship over the last half a year.

When I received the call from Dr Hosier after surgery she said they removed the tumor but found another. They aspirated that tumor and found that it was a mast cell tumor. She never told me that meant it was cancer. When I picked him up and received written instructions I was told that he got a shot of benedryl because aspirating the tumor could cause it to granulate releasing histamines. That was all I was told nothing was explained. When I called because my dog was not walking still the next day and could not stand they blamed me for giving him gabentin which I was instructed to do in writing. I told them my dog had diarrhea was vomiting and would not eat. They suggested stopping the novox and offering chicken and rice diet. I did that then had to rush him to the hospital on Sunday because his face was swollen. Red Bank animal hospital explained that he had cancer, that his symptoms were from degranulation. They had to give him another benedryl shot and put him on benedryl meds. They told me to follow up with my vet immediately I called Monday they said I could wait until his appt Sat to get his stitches out. Went for the appointment it was obvious Dr Hosier never read the report. She prescribed him a bunch of new meds including steroids to try and get him to eat. She said she would check in, in two days. She never checked in and also forgot to removed two stitches from his chest. I called to speak with the owner Dr Masso on three occasions. They would tell me she would call back. She never did. Once the receptionist even told me the matter was closed in their system. I am so disappointed. I was calm and polite with every call. I said I didn't want Dr Hosier in trouble but I think the owner should know when so many mistakes are made. I have an appointment with a specialty surgeon soon but I'm sad that I now have to find a new vet because either Dr Masso could not spare five minutes of her time or the office, Jen, Tori and Dr Hosier, are hiding what happened. At the very least you could have told me it was cancer and know the signs of degranulation.

I recently flew home from Los Angeles to New Jersey--with my two rabbits--specifically so Dr. Scavola could perform surgery on one of them. That's how much I trust her and this practice. My bunny developed a lump on her jaw, and while she was still acting completely normal, I knew something wasn't right. Even though I now live across the country, there was no one else I trusted to handle her diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Scavola had treated my bunnies in the past with the most incredible care, compassion, and expertise. She knows rabbits like no one else I've ever met, and her calm, confident presence always makes me feel like my pets are truly in the best hands. She quickly identified a dental abscess caused by a sideways-growing tooth root, safely removed the tooth, cleaned out the abscess, and implanted antibiotic beads--all in one day. My bunny was eating hay right after surgery and recovered beautifully. The level of skill, attention to detail, and genuine care is unmatched. The staff at All Creatures is just as wonderful--patient, kind, and incredibly responsive. They treat your animals like family and make you feel supported every step of the way. If you are looking for a vet who truly goes above and beyond--not just in technical skill but in heart--this is the place. I would fly across the country for them all over again in a heartbeat.

The techs, doctors and front desk staff are thorough, kind hearted and take the time to help with whatever issue you might have. I have taken my Pomeranian mix (Charlie) there after being given very incorrect information from a prior vet that I had trusted for a long time. I am so grateful I did. Charlie ended up having a very aggressive serious ear infection that needed several different medications and treatments as the infection was antibiotic resistant. They found this out by doing the appropriate and necessary testing. Charlie is a ladies man lol. The previous vet told me angrily that my Charlie needed a lot of training and when I took Charlie to All Creatures there was not one bit of aggression, anxiety, or the biggest one - NO NEED FOR SEDATION. He also did not need 5 people like before to hold him down. I see the love and care for each animal they take care of small or large. The office is very clean. They also do everything they can to follow up, answer questions and check on my other Fur Babies. I could go on and on but I think that you get the idea that I love and fully recommend All Creatures to everyone I know!! Thank you ALL for being the BEST at what you do!!

Dr.Forsyth, I had hoped to speak to you but obviously you do not care to hear what I have to say. These are feelings I need to express to try to come to terms with the anguish you inflicted on my husband and I. It has been 5 months since Jules was euthanized and I am still traumatized by your actions that day. The grief of losing him is something I could have worked through but have been having extreme anxiety each night reliving the nightmare that took place here. I am seeing a therapist hoping to get past the pain you caused. Grief I can do. Being traumatized is something else. Your lack of empathy, compassion and communication that day is incomprehensible. During the last moments of his life to say that Jules had to be muzzled. My husband and I were so distraught that this day had finally come, we did not protest as we should have. But the worst was yet to come. You stood behind him, not even very close to him, not even putting your hand on him. Then viciously stabbed him with the needle causing him pain and fear. This is the scene I see as I close my eyes each night. When I asked you what had gone wrong you said rather nonchalantly and I quote, " I knew he would react that way." Only adding to the horror we were feeling. This was not a euthanasia gone wrong. Jules pain and fear were caused by what appeared to be your own fear or dislike of him. Or your total ineptness. We have had other cherished pets euthanized because we loved them and wanted to let them go peacefully. Each procedure was carried out with loving kindness by the vet. We loved Jules so very much. We spent 10 years giving him the best life possible and protecting him. Only to have failed him in the end by choosing you. A choice I will regret to my dying day. There isn't anything that you can say or do that will change that horrific day. Hopefully, this letter will reach you on some level. Maybe saving another beloved pet and their family from suffering the pain, fear. guilt anxiety and heartbreak that you so cruelly caused us.
