Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. I lost my husband this year and am never sure about what to do when things go wrong in the house, since I never had to address those problems in the past. I called 1-Tom and they made me feel completely confident about my choice. Right from the start, I liked the fact that they answered the phone and I didn't have to keep pushing buttons to get to the right person. I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. The company was really great, they sent me a bio and photo of the person who would be coming (which I appreciated for safety and professionalism), and the man who came was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He also had some great suggestions and input on the project and location in the house, in terms of what's best to save money and simplify all the moving parts--which I really appreciated. We had a leak in our bathroom sink. Plumbwell sent their plumber and he made it out like our whole…read moresink was broken. Plumbwell gave us an estimate for $1200 for the repair. This was astronomically high in our opinion. We got another plumber to look at it and he fixed the leak within 30 minutes and it only cost us $350. HUGE price difference! Companies like Plumbwell seem to be in the business of up selling and price gouging. Needless to say, we will not be calling them ever again. The only positive thing about this company would be the secretaries who answer the phones. Quite lovely people.

They did a camera inspection of the sewer line which turned out was partially blocked so then they quickly ran a snake through a couple of tomes and then did a second inspection after the line was cleared. My only complaint was they were not very forthcoming about telling me the additional cost to snake the sewer line which ended up being double what I had originally planned for the camera inspection. To be fair I should've asked but still if you're expecting something to be $395 and then you get an invoice for $885 that's not cool - see attached In case you need to do some price comparison's
