We loved this farm to table bar and restaurant. The food was fresh and the portions were plentiful. Popular spot with locals!

This place has a very cool atmosphere and the food was great. It's 21 and up, so not for the fam.

This is the second visit to Train Wreck and it did not improve on the first impression. I opted for the special which was a streak empanada, the filling was flavorful and had a substantial amount of steak but the crust which is my favorite part was so dry and tough I ended up just eating the filling. I was so hoping it would be better than the first time we went. Hubby had fish and chips, he said it was "ok" but we are not big fans of beer battered fish so he wouldn't order it again. The place is cute and the service was adequate. So many places that are fabulous here we won't be giving Train Wreck a third try.

    Bloody Caesar!

Trainwreck is just one of those places that hits the spot when you're not even planning to stop. We pulled in on the way home because I was desperate for a Bloody Caesar, and I swear they make the best one I've ever had. Spicy, tangy, perfect rim, perfect garnish -- it just hit. We lucked out and got a table right by the TV showing the game, which immediately set the vibe. The staff was on it -- like a small army appeared out of nowhere the second we sat down. Napkins, menus, water -- bam. Everyone was so genuinely nice too, even threw me a few compliments on my shirt (which caught me totally off guard but hey, I'll take it). Hubby got the breakfast special -- a breakfast Cubano -- and said it was killer. I went for the Trainwreck waffle and holy hell, whoever decided to put bacon in the batter deserves a medal. Sweet, salty, fruity, buttery chaos in the best way. The owner/manager popped by more than once to check in, super friendly and chatty, just that kind of person who makes you feel like you've been regulars forever. Everything about the stop was just good energy -- delicious food, perfect drinks, spooky-but-cozy atmosphere, friendly people who seem to actually like being there. Total win.

Great atmosphere and service. Comfortable booths. We all had salads which were fresh and large enough we could have shared (I saved 1/2 for the next day)

We were headed to a nearby establishment but it was too crowded and it had been a minute since we went to Train Wreck. They cleared out the middle row of tables since I was there last. It opened up the top. It was a full house as usual but we lucked out and were seated promptly. The food is good of course. Mama got the chicken BLT and I got the Cod and chips. The star was the French fries. All natural cut and flavorful. Some smaller pieces were crispy and gave it good texture. We don't go often but when we do it's never a disappointment

As far as local legends go, the Train Wreck is right up there. I've been coming here for more than ten years, and have never been disappointed. And now that I live in the Valley, I'm there even more often. Lately, I've been going for dinner, since their legendary breakfast rush is no joke. Pro tip: if you're going for brekky, get there right (and I mean RIGHT) when their doors open in the morning. Because within 10 minutes after opening, they are full with a line out the door. Late lunch or dinner are a good bet for not having to wait long, if at all. And their non-breakfast food is just as good (if not better) than their morning offerings. I love their wide variety of sandwiches, burgers, and salads. On my last visit I tried their grilled cheese, which was served with homemade tomato soup and was delish. I'm also a fan of their fish 'n chips, and you can't go wrong with their ginormous, juicy burger. Want to swing out? There's always a tempting-sounding special on the board. (Most recently, I noticed on social media that they had a limited time lobster roll on the menu - I was so sad to miss it!) They also have fast and friendly service, an awesome tap list, and just about any cocktail you could ever want. This is a must-visit if you're anywhere nearby and want a tasty meal.

Food was great, service was prompt, restaurant clean and such history in building! Location was perfect for out of town visitors.

Great time! Party of seven - we were lucky to find a table, this place is very popular. Alaskan cod was very good - perfect portions. Personally, tooooo many fries were on each plate - we all ended up leaving a lot on the plate. Mushroom burger w/ Gouda was "phenomenal." Cocktails are very good.

I was so excited to try this place and it definitely did not disappoint. I loved the style of the restaurant and felt like I was in a train. The service was great and all the staff I interacted with were very sweet. Now, the food! The crab cakes were delicious, fresh, and the sauce was delectable. I poured it all over the crab cakes and it gave it such a mouthwatering flavor I cannot describe. With that slice of lemon it was simply a slice of heaven! The fish and chips were fantastic and sad we didn't get the 3 piece. The coating was perfect portioned and nice and crunchy but not overly done. The fries were incredibly crunchy and perfectly salted and truly I left wanting more. On to the red velvet cheesecake! Amazing and I wished I would have gotten 2 pieces. The only thing I wasn't in love with was the drink I ordered and their ranch but that won't stop me from coming back :)

    Smoked Pork sandwich

I was in the area so I decided to eat lunch at the Train Wreck Bar. I was fortunate that I picked a quiet time there, they were only about half occupancy. So, I sat down, checked the menu, and ordered the Smoke Pork sandwich and an Arnold Palmer drink. I was very impressed with the sandwich! It was overstuffed with delicious smoked pulled pork. The fries were not as crisp as I prefer, but still tasty. I couldn't eat all the fries, there were just too many! The wait staff was kind, attentive, and I didn't have to wait for anything. I had a very good lunch and look forward to my next visit.

Rude staff at front and very dismissive when entering and asking about fish and chips to go due to their lack of allowing minors.

But it was not really chicken wings - it was more like chicken strips covered in sauce. The chicken sandwich I got was also pretty disgusting. I am skeptical of the breads but the grilled chicken they used was definitely subpar. The other thing that was annoying was the game screen that they offer. It is designed for you to accidentally click it and then get charged $2.99. I never thought that I already got charged. It would come on your final receipt. However the server at this location were very nice. They took great care of our order. When we were leaving they even offered to give us another set of wings to go - which we politely declined but it was a great gesture. In general I have heard better things from Apple Bees but for now I will probably keep it just slightly above KFC.

The entrance is delightfully well-done, and our faces lit up when we walked into the bar - intricately detailed and authentic enough that a '20s dress code could be reasonably enforced. We were seated immediately, and the cadence of service was immaculate: our appetizer came out just after our drinks, and the entrees appeared as we were taking the last bites of the appetizer. But I wasn't thrilled with my selections. The Rum Punch was served at room temperature and the jalapeño popper chicken sandwich was drier than the description suggested. My partner got the Jalisco Fizz, which she says paired well with the mushroom pasta, and really enjoyed the salmon deviled eggs. At $11-14, the drinks are priced well, but the food is overpriced. The jalapeño chicken sandwich was not a $23 sandwich, and a tempting lobster/shrimp roll was listed at $35. Overall Speakeasy Saloon is worth making an evening of. Dress up and sip on whiskey drinks in the low light with loved ones.
