They charged the battery and started it in the first 15min I was there, then they all went on lunch and told me they would call me. Days went by and nothing, I called them and said what's going on? They asked if I could come down there. They told me my rotors were so rusted I could "kill someone" never heard that one. Vehicles sit, rust accumulates. He showed me a rotor like I had never seen one, then he told me that I needed two new batteries, I said well that's a lie, I literally just purchased the one like a week ago. Then he said I had electrical problems, needed a new fuel pump, the gas gauge wasn't working(which I already told them) and blah blah, I said what's the estimate... they said they couldn't give me one, then the guy Gaby said it could be $2500 or more, they don't know. Then they claimed it could be weeks months for a fuel pump, a place on the northside had it that day, other parts places said it could be there in a couple days. They acted like they didn't want to do any of the work. They replaced two wires near the bum battery. He kept telling me to take the vehicle, they have other vehicles, it's not worth fixing. I'm like wtf!!! I was super pissed. I'm like you've had my vehicle for days and didn't do anything. He said just take it and give me the $30 for gas and one hour labor. Knowing damn well they didn't work on it for even that. Then he said just give me the $30 for gas and take it. Then he claimed they'd work on it for "3 hours" and call me tomorrow. 8:30am I get a call saying it was ready. Now I had left there in the afternoon, they close at 5pm. There is NO WAY IN HELL they worked on it for 3 hours. They just charged the battery, th When I went to pick it up I asked over 5xs what did you do? What work did you actually do? pepe just kept saying "we got it started" that's all he said, they didn't do ish!!! they charged me for 3hours had my vehicle almost a week and didn't even replace the battery, 3hrs x $140 an hour SCAM, for $450 they could of at least replaced the battery.., all they did was give me an estimate of what needed to be done, including replacing the battery, which is like $200, they couldn't even do that! Then the tire was low as hell when they knew I was picking it up, you couldn't even put air in the tires. Videos to help streamline the installation process. Oliver was very straightforward. During the 3 days my car was being serviced, he kept me updated on the progress. This seems to be underrated with most businesses, but it's very important to a customer because nobody likes being left in the dark, especially when their car is left in the hands of someone else. Updates help build transparency and reduce the perception of being taken advantage of. Good communication encourages repeat business and referrals. This directly contradicted the written estimate I received, which clearly stated that credit card payments over $500 would incur a 4% processing fee. The estimate even referenced the option of using their gift cards, which obviously implies card payments are accepted. When I questioned this, Oliver claimed their Square payment processor was "on hold." However, the business still advertises credit card acceptance on their website, and my bank was still able to process their charge attempt. The explanations I received felt inconsistent and misleading. Customers deserve transparency and honesty, especially after expensive auto body repairs. Changing payment terms at the last minute after work is completed puts customers in an uncomfortable position and feels extremely unprofessional. I would strongly recommend getting ALL payment terms confirmed in writing before authorizing repairs here. I will never recommend or ever use their services again.
